Review: .It might be the most aptly titled EP you buy this month. Or even this year. Seoul-based Yetsuby has managed to invoke the spirit of a bubble bath with Water Flash, four tracks that feel like they might float away on a breeze, or bounce and bumble their way along the ground, representing a particularly difficult to describe type of new age electronica. Opening on the title track, it's hard not to fall in love with its combination of subtle, staccato drums, wind harmonies and glittering background effects - halfway between classic Detroit techno melody and Far Eastern ambient. 'Electro Union' ups the dancefloor ante, offering a slow mo, broken, warbling workout that feels as fresh as it does retro. 'Commercial Noisy Day' pares things back, focusing mainly on drums and accents of percussion, while 'Track 4' goes for a pure deep listening experience. Press play and you'll know what we mean.
