This not only ensures a seamless DJ experience but also allows you to do all your preparation solely from your all-in-one system.

StreamingDirectPlay compatibility
With support for Beatport Streaming, the StreamingDirectPlay feature enables you to directly play tracks from Beatport's vast dance music library and the latest genre-specific playlists. You'll even get analysis data such as waveform, BPM, and grid information so you can easily mix new and diverse music into your sets.

Extensive device and DJ application compatibility
As well as playing tracks from USB drives, you can DJ by connecting to your PC/Mac or mobile device. And, if you want to showcase your individuality even further, you can play audio from external devices like turntables and samplers. The unit has a USB Type-C port for PC/Mac connection, so you can use rekordbox for Mac/Windows in Performance mode or Serato DJ Pro*1 and there's no need for a paid subscription plan for either. And, if you use the Wi-Fir connection for rekordbox Link Export, you can conveniently access tracks from your PC/Mac or mobile device without needing to plug in cables.*2

The 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen on the XDJ-AZ doesn't just give you more visual information - it makes it easier to control everything too. Up to 13 tracks can be displayed at once - a massive increase from the 8 on the XDJ-XZ - so you can see more of your music and find songs quicker. Other advanced features include Playlist Bank, to which you can register up to 4 playlists for rapid access, Touch Preview, which allows you to preview tracks in playlists without loading them, and Touch Cue, which you can use to preview the upcoming section of tracks currently playing on the deck. All this makes track selection quick and smooth. And, with the option to display the status of the selected Performance Pad and Beat FX settings simultaneously, you can instantly grasp the information you need in order to perform.

Ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring with SonicLink-compatible DJ headphones
Thanks to the integrated SonicLink transmitter, you can enjoy ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring with the HDJ-F10 professional DJ headphones. Press a single button to pair the XDJ-AZ with the headphones and you can move around the DJ booth or stage freely, knowing you'll never tangle or pull on a cable. SonicLink is AlphaTheta's own proprietary ultra-low-latency wireless technology. It transmits audio 20 times faster than the commonly used Bluetoothr SBC codec, so you'll never notice a delay between pressing a button or scratching with the jog wheels and hearing the sound from the output.

2-channel analogue rotary DJ mixer
Notes: The New DN78 Phantom Valve is a desktop analogue DJ mixer featuring 2 dual input channels, one mono mic channel, 2 stereo USB channels and features rotary faders and a rotary crossfader.

There are two high grade phono stage preamplifiers with standard RIAA EQ to ensure faithful full range production from a standard MM record cartridge, which can also be switched to line input levels for convenience.
USB
Uniquely offered on our rotary mixer is a high quality 32bit / 384khz four channel sound card built in to the DN78 Phantom Valve enabling easy integration to digital media. The USB interface can be used for playback from most popular DJ software platforms on both MAC and PC.
Microphone Input
A high-quality MIC channel with a single gain control on the back panel gives up to 56db of gain and feeds the signal over the stereo mix.
FX Send & Return
There is also a stereo effects send and return which allows a pre isolator signal to be fed into an external effects unit and a stereo return to be fed post Isolator. Both have individual levels controllable from the front panel. The effects return can also be used as an additional stereo source input for line level signals.
Headphone
A powerful headphone amp ensures more than adequate monitor levels for all types of headphones with separate cue / mix cross fader to check your output mix.
Master & Booth
Finally, there is a master section with a powerful 4 way output with both separate booth and master level controls. Both outputs feed RCA outputs and full balanced outputs designed for driving long lines, giving more than adequate levels to drive almost any amplifier set up.
Metering
Professional Stereo VU meters display master output levels they offer a more precise indication of level than that of led meters. Therefore, we have integrated a pair of analogue VU meters -20 - +6db to show a more accurate measurement of the output level with an additional clip level indicator to ensure the sound remains clear.
The Knobs
Black Fluted Knobs Silver Centre, 16mm, 27mm, 33mm are very popular to provide an accurate level control. The vintage RCA Viz knob have a very classic look and very precise.

An evolution of the renowned FF4000, the FF4.2 features precise four-band, full-kill EQ on all channels. This allows for complete frequency band cuts and isolation as well as subtle spectral balance mixing more commonly associated with studio mixers. The EQ frequency response characteristics have been carefully optimised to give superior, intuitive control of bass, low-mid, high-mid and highs.
Channel 1 input is Mic and Balanced line with a selectable compressor. The Mic input may be set to Booth mix or post Booth mix. Channels 2-4 inputs are Phono and Line. The headphone may be set to pre or post EQ and there is a cue balance control. The cross fader features a contour control. A PRO X cross fader is available as a cost option.
Each channel has 2 selectable inputs, 4 band full kill EQ, 2 Aux, 12 LED meter and adjustable high and low pass filters. The low pass filter is adjustable from 20Hz to 1 KHz and the high pass from 1 kHz to 20KHz.
The output section includes Console mic, Master, Booth, and AUX level controls plus metering and headphone outputs. The headphone has a split selection.
Balanced inputs on channel 1 is on 3 pole 1/4 inch jack sockets. The compressors on channels 1 operates on both Mic and balanced line inputs. The compressor has a LED threshold indicator, and the compression and threshold can be adjusted using hidden controls through the base of the Mixer.
Inputs are selected by a switch at the top of each channel. Channels 2-4 have RCA phono connectors with the upper pair being line input and the lower pair phono. Master and booth outputs are both balanced XLR. AUX outputs are balanced on 3 pole 1/4 inch jack sockets. Record outputs are on unbalanced phono sockets. A mono balanced output is on XLR, this output may be switched to Sub Bass using a control through the base of the mixer. The insert is enabled with a switch just below the master volume control.
There is a 2 pin remote mute connector for use with a fire alarm or similar. This mutes the music but leaves the console mic on (if Ch1 and / or 2 MIC inputs are set to Post Booth then these will also be on).
The Booth and Master have left and right 12 LED stereo metering. The Booth has a mono switch and pan pot, the console Mic is excluded from the booth output and Channel 1 Mic is selectable.
Each input has a recessed gain trim on the rear panel (except balance line on 1 & 2).
The microphone inputs all have a phantom power switch through the back panel. The microphone inputs are all on XLR and the Mic gain trims are multi turn potentiometers for extra fine adjustment.

An evolution of the renowned FF4000, the FF4.2 features precise four-band, full-kill EQ on all channels. This allows for complete frequency band cuts and isolation as well as subtle spectral balance mixing more commonly associated with studio mixers. The EQ frequency response characteristics have been carefully optimised to give superior, intuitive control of bass, low-mid, high-mid and highs.
Channel 1 input is Mic and Balanced line with a selectable compressor. The Mic input may be set to Booth mix or post Booth mix. Channels 2-4 inputs are Phono and Line. The headphone may be set to pre or post EQ and there is a cue balance control. The cross fader features a contour control. A PRO X cross fader is available as a cost option.
Each channel has 2 selectable inputs, 4 band full kill EQ, 2 Aux, 12 LED meter and adjustable high and low pass filters. The low pass filter is adjustable from 20Hz to 1 KHz and the high pass from 1 kHz to 20KHz.
The output section includes Console mic, Master, Booth, and AUX level controls plus metering and headphone outputs. The headphone has a split selection.
Balanced inputs on channel 1 is on 3 pole 1/4 inch jack sockets. The compressors on channels 1 operates on both Mic and balanced line inputs. The compressor has a LED threshold indicator, and the compression and threshold can be adjusted using hidden controls through the base of the Mixer.
Inputs are selected by a switch at the top of each channel. Channels 2-4 have RCA phono connectors with the upper pair being line input and the lower pair phono. Master and booth outputs are both balanced XLR. AUX outputs are balanced on 3 pole 1/4 inch jack sockets. Record outputs are on unbalanced phono sockets. A mono balanced output is on XLR, this output may be switched to Sub Bass using a control through the base of the mixer. The insert is enabled with a switch just below the master volume control.
There is a 2 pin remote mute connector for use with a fire alarm or similar. This mutes the music but leaves the console mic on (if Ch1 and / or 2 MIC inputs are set to Post Booth then these will also be on).
The Booth and Master have left and right 12 LED stereo metering. The Booth has a mono switch and pan pot, the console Mic is excluded from the booth output and Channel 1 Mic is selectable.
Each input has a recessed gain trim on the rear panel (except balance line on 1 & 2).
The microphone inputs all have a phantom power switch through the back panel. The microphone inputs are all on XLR and the Mic gain trims are multi turn potentiometers for extra fine adjustment.

Bluetooth connectivity and Noise Cancelling mode to serve a complete DJ workflow
While preparing tracks, DJs can choose whether they want to reduce or let in the sound from the world around them when connected to a device via Bluetooth. In Noise Cancelling mode, ambient noise is shut out - even in a busy city - so DJs can immerse themselves in the music as if listening to it in the studio. With Transparency mode, external sounds are let in so it's possible to continue having in-person conversations while listening to music.
Long battery life for extended DJ sets
A full battery gives 9 hours' use with SonicLink or 30 hours' use with Bluetooth. DJs can also play with a wired connection.
