Review: Marking the 12th release from this Russian-born artist, this collection elegantly bridges deep house, minimal and dub techno with an ethereal, uptempo touch. It's a sleek, well-balanced record that drifts weightlessly while never losing its kinetic edge. Opener 'Fucha' is full of movement that is techy and slick. The flighty percussion is crisp and the uptempo pulse works perfectly for those that want to raise the energy but still keep a level of class. 'Imatra' injects melodic flourishes into its groove, balancing playfulness with subtle complexity. Flip to Side-B and the tone shifts slightly. 'Temoa' is spacious and atmospheric, flowing with dub textures that ripple across a misty soundscape. It's deep house with a thoughtful, cinematic arc. Closer 'Chomdao' almost crosses the plane into a trance beauty unfolding in waves of organic textures and beautiful pads. This EP is shimmering with wonderful futuristic techno tracks.
