SuonoBuono Lazer Gesture-Based CV & MIDI Controller
Cat: 857772 Rel: 31 Jan 25

Gesture-based CV and MIDI controller
Notes: Lazer is a unique laser-based CV and midi controller.

Thanks to its rich set of outputs, it can control external MIDI instruments and effects, analog synthesizers and virtual instruments in a DAW such as Ableton Live, Cubase or Logic. It also has an on-board lo-fi oscillator that can drive headphones (for live tracking) or be used as an audio source.

Lazer is standalone and does not require a computer, ideal for live jams The sensor measures the distance from the hand and transforms it into MIDI, analog and audio signals, according to user settings. Its 1mm (circa) resolution and the configurable range up to 50cm allow for precise control of sensitive parameters such as pitch and filter frequency. Lazer does not require wearing any wearables and can be used in most light conditions with bare hands. Multiple Lazers can be used simultaneously without interfering with each other.

The OLED display allows to adjust the MIDI parameters to be controlled, their range, their direction and many other settings. The same MIDI messages are sent to the classic 5-poles DIN MIDI port (using the included adapter) and to the USB port. Analog signals are sent to the CV and gate outputs. For certain configurations, the analog ports are used as analog sync transmitters. There is also an audio output that produces a signal whose pitch varies with the hand distance. Parameters can be soft quantized.

Koma Elektronik Chromaplane Analogue & Polyphonic Electromagnetic Synthesiser
Cat: 1050564 Rel: 31 Jan 25

Analogue & polyphonic electromagnetic synthesiser
Notes: The Chromaplane is an instrument created in collaboration between KOMA Elektronik & Passepartout Duo.

The Chromaplane is played using two electromagnetic pickup coils, that are moved over its surface to listen to a cloud of electromagnetic fields produced by the instrument. These ten fields are represented by small indicators on the instrument's surface.

The Chromaplane is fully polyphonic, meaning that all ten of the instrument's analogue square wave oscillators are always sounding - this makes the instrument ideal for both sculpting complex drones, and playing agile melodies. Each field can be tuned using its corresponding adjustment screw. The oscillators are additionally organized into three rows, each with a switch that drops that row's pitch one octave.

The timbre of the Chromaplane can be further shaped using its internal VCF, a 4-pole low pass filter that darkens the instrument's sound and is also modulated by the internal audio signal, allowing for rich harmonic sounds and timbres reminiscent of frequency modulation. A lo-fi delay/echo effect with CV controlled time adds a sense of ambiance and rhythmicity to the dry signal's output.

The Chromaplane also features an external audio input, allowing the player to route other sounds to one electromagnetic field on the instrument's surface. The instrument's envelope output can also be used to modulate parameters on the instrument, or on other hardware synthesizers.

The Chromaplane includes: The Chromaplane itself, 2 pickup coils, 1 tuning screwdriver, 1 power adapter that works worldwide, 1 manual

Dreadbox Artemis 6-Voice Polyphonic Analogue Synthesiser
Cat: 1054559 Rel: 31 Jan 25

6-Voice Polyphonic Analogue Synthesiser
Notes: Artemis is a unique analogue polysynth with a UI inspired by Dreadbox's award-winning Typhon synthesizer. It builds on Typhon's innovative concepts, adding six voices of polyphony, powerful modulation capabilities, stereo FX, voice spreading, and much more!

From classic polysynth tones to aggressive modern sounds and everything in between, Artemis has a wealth of raw synthesis and modulation capabilities to explore.

At its core, Artemis features a fully analogue architecture, based on the smart oscillator implementation found in both the Typhon and the Murmux Adept, allowing effortless transitions between multiple waveforms, mix settings, glide, FM, and more.

These VCOs are paired with Dreadbox's signature filter topology, offering classic 12dB or 24dB per octave low-pass modes, as well as a standalone resonant high-pass filter. The low-pass filter includes dedicated filter frequency FM control for dialling in edgier, modern tones.

Two multi-mode LFOs enhance the modulation possibilities: LFO 1 offers a unique fade-in parameter, while LFO 2 includes XMOD (cross-modulation) control for chaotic, brash textures. Each LFO has multiple waveforms and can modulate pitch, filter cutoff, VCO waveform, pulse width, and more.

This analogue powerhouse is complemented by a suite of world-class FX from Sinevibes, who previously collaborated with Dreadbox on Typhon's FX. With reverb, delay, modulation effects, master distortion, and more, Artemis delivers an extra dimension to your sounds.

SoMa Laboratory Lyra-4 4-Voice Organismic Analogue Synthesiser (white)
Cat: 1055355

4-voice organismic analogue synthesiser
Notes: Introducing the revived version of LYRA-4 organismic synthesiser, the younger sister of the famous LYRA-8. "Organismic" means that LYRA uses some principles that lie in the base of living organisms. The way how LYRA's modules interacting between each other and the behaviour of the instrument resembles a live conversation. It's smaller and weighs less but is equally rugged in design, and still packs a lot of punch. This makes it easy to fit in a backpack and perfect for taking the LYRA sound on the road. And playing two LYRA-4s can actually sound very different than just one LYRA-8.

LYRA-4 is based on four generators, which will be referred to as voices. Their design is not like a traditional subtractive synthesis VCO. Instead of having a linear or logarithmic dependency on control voltage, they resemble the tone generators in old electric organs. Hence the use of the term "voices" instead of "VCOs". Lyra uses non-linearity a lot, and the voices are constructed in such a way that allows for non-linearity to express itself.

The voices are divided into two pairs (12, 34), creating tree-like structure.

The voices can function either in an electric organ mode or in an FM synthesis mode with each of the voices and its envelope acting as a separate FM operator. The voice's impact on FM synthesis will decrease along with the decay of its envelope.

LYRA-4 also has the next blocks:

The HYPER LFO is a complex low-frequency generator, whose waveform is synthesized from two simple LFOs by summation or multiplication of their frequencies. It also has a sync mode. The LFO can modulate the selected pairs of voices and the MOD DELAY.

The MOD DELAY consists of delay with feedback. The delay has a unique possibility of self-modulation where the output signal modulates the delay sample rate, creating cool effects.

The DISTORTION is last in the chain, after the delay. It enables the delay to also influence the distortion.

For all its experimental character, LYRA is a professional instrument. Its output dynamics and frequency response are balanced and ready for a live performance or studio recording without any additional processing.

Intech Studio Grid PO16 16-Potentiometer Modular MIDI Controller
Cat: 1032095

Modular MIDI controller consisting of 16x potmeters
Notes: The PO16 is a sleek, compact, single-turn rotary potentiometer module for controlling quick motion changes like EQ, filters, or synth parameters.

Equipped with customisable multi-coloured LED lights to enable labelling in dark environments. Facilitate differentiating each potmeter by changing the colour of each indicator LED, adjusting brightness levels individually or adding pulsing animations.

It is recommended that, Grid is connected directly to the computer with the supplied Intech Studio USB-C cable. Some USB hubs may not work with Grid, due to issues with how the various class compliant communication methods establish connection through a hub with the host computer.

Most digital audio workstations can identify Grid as a MIDI controller and appear as a MIDI mappable device. When multiple modules are interconnected, Grid is identified as a single control surface. If the interconnected controllers are plugged in separately into the same Host, they appear as Grid #1, Grid #2 MIDI devices and so forth.

By default, through the Host's MIDI learn functionality, all of the control elements can be mapped. Grid's default firmware uses a unique dynamic assignment, so a 10 module Grid control surface will have unique Channel, Command and CC/Note assignments on each control element.

Grid controllers are shipped with firmware default configuration. To modify the configurations of the controllers, the Grid Editor cross-platform application can be used. Through the Grid Editor, suggested manufacturer profiles and community profiles are also available. Grid has an event driven architecture, where every interaction with the controller triggers an event. The triggered event runs the configured actions, like setting LED colours and intensity.

Events on Grid available for configuration:
Init - when a page is initialized
Potmeter - fader or potentiometer change event
Encoder - rotation of endless encoders
Button - switch button or encoder interaction
Utility - side button
Midi rx - MIDI processing incoming to Grid

Stereo soundscape reverb effects pedal
Notes: Dark Star Stereo Flagship Reverb Pedal

The continued pull, the drift unabated, the controlled wash of gravity and the chaotic meander of its combined uncertainties. In fact, the original and highly loved Dark Star is a pedal that historically was OBNE's most popular reverb. People bonded with its warmth and aliasing, its long trails and the way it encouraged you to turn the mix fully up. Now, it's in with the new. Dark Star Stereo expands on the promise of ambient reverb and is a pitch shifting, bit crushing, filtered reverb pedal with just about every feature you could ask for. One massive stereo voice, with a wide suite of controls that likes to go anywhere in your signal chain - all that's left is for you to decide just how dark you must go.

Reviving the magic of the long-trail lo-fi reverb algorithm that made Dark Star a breakout hit years ago, Old Blood Noise Endeavors announces a new Dark Star for a new era, with a drastically expanded feature set and improved signal quality that is sure to draw in old fans and new. New features like Stereo Input and Output, on-board Presets, Trails, Expression control over all parameters and MIDI control, of both Parameters and Presets, all help to give more versatility to this device than ever before. Beyond that, the new Dark Star does away with the three-mode toggle, instead creating a single mode combining all the Pitch-Shifting, Bit-Crushing, delayed goodness of the original. Access your favourite sounds as well as new combinations, with new shapers like Filter, Multiply, Volume and Stereo-Spread.

Flame Black Filterbank Analogue Resonance Filterbank Sequencer Module
Cat: 1050501 Rel: 31 Jan 25

Analogue resonance filterbank sequencer module - 22HP
Notes: Flame Black Filterbank is an analogue moving resonance filter bank.

The module is based on the Flame Curves and combines its most important functions in a more compact format. As a result, the individual outputs for the filter channels no longer found a place on the front panel.

The filterbank includes twelve-channel and a pattern player programmable via a software editor. You can use a freeware "Curves editor software" (Win/Mac) for setup and user pattern editing. The module needs a clock to run in pattern-mode. It also features a reset input to set the sequence back to the first step. The memory in the module can save up to 99 patterns. The active pattern can be seen on the display and selected thanks to two buttons.

When the Black Filterbank is in sequencer mode, the Envelope potentiometer controls the AR envelope, the Variation knob adds random velocity and release, and the Fill potentiometer controls the level of all the channels.

In manual mode, when the sequencer is off, you can select different filter-types with the Variation potentiometer: allpass, lowpass, bandpass 1-3 and highpass. Thanks to the Fill knob it is possible to sweep through the twelve filter bands. The Envelope knob smooths the sweep by activating a second band next to the selected filter band. Thus, the change from one band to another is not so abrupt.

It is also possible to play the twelve filters via MIDI like a drum module, thanks to the supplied MIDI to minijack cable. It even reacts to velocity.

There are several CV inputs for controlling Envelope, Variation and Fill parameters as well as the pattern number.

Power consumption: 250mA at +12V and 180mA at -12V
Depth: 42mm

Intech Studio Grid BU16 16-Button Modular MIDI Controller
Cat: 1032097

Modular MIDI controller consisting of 16x buttons
Notes: A neat button module with long-lasting 4x4 tactile buttons that provide instant access to triggering samples, launching clips, controlling playback, or just simply drumming.

Set them to momentary, 2 or 3-step toggle action to enjoy playful experimentation. Can be used with other Grid controllers used as a HID macro controller or for MIDI programming in your creative environment.

Equipped with customisable multi-coloured LED lights to enable labelling in dark environments. Facilitate differentiating each potmeter by changing the colour of each indicator LED, adjusting brightness levels individually or adding pulsing animations.

Thanks to its compact and lightweight structure, the BU16 is a fully ergonomic parameter controller with easily mappable push buttons.

Timer - delayed message triggers

This all-in-one, open-source, customizable device is designed to empower aspiring musicians, seasoned creators, and makers. It isn't just an instrument-it's your gateway to the world of music production and audio synths.

PGB-1 has open-source stock firmware that makes it a playful and powerful groove box. It allows you to craft complex musical pieces with drums, bass, lead, samples, reverb, bitcrusher, overdrive, and others.

Orchestrated by an advanced sequencer with conditional steps, repeats/ratcheting, pattern chaining, chord sequencing, song mode, live sequencing effects, and more.

PGB-1 is Wee Noise Makers' response to the current landscape of entry-level hardware synthesizers and groove boxes. In recent years, we saw a plethora of new electronic instruments marketed as accessible, affordable, and designed for beginners. Yet, often these instruments can feel limited, tying users to a specific sound or ecosystem. These limits sometimes feel artificial, pushing you to combine multiple products of the same line to actually make meaningful music. At the same time leading to frustrating sequencing, connection, and mixing issues that defeat the portability and playfulness of the instruments.

With the PGB-1, Wee Noise Makers wanted to address all these shortcomings, bringing you an instrument that is:

All-in-one: you only need one device to craft complete music pieces
Powerful: Drums, bass, lead, samples, etc. with advanced sequencing features
Truly pocket-size: 10 x 6.6 x 1.5 cm, smaller footprint than a smartphone
Hackable: Designed for customization, open-source firmware, and compatible with several programming languages (including Python)
Creativity should not be limited by the tools you have, but empowered by them. With the PGB-1, Wee Noise Makers are dedicated to creating a platform that encourages innovation and experimentation. Whether you are a musician looking to explore new sounds, a developer eager to create unique software, or a hobbyist who enjoys tweaking and building.

PGB-1 is designed to be customized and modified to your taste. The front panel is a bare PCB, designed with the open-source software Kicad. The production file will be available so that anyone can make its own version with custom graphics and get it manufactured for a few bucks.

PGB-1 is also hackable with CircuitPython, C\C++, and Ada support for programming your own synthesizers, video games, or any audio-based projects.

By making the PGB-1 open source, a sandbox is provided for the audio community. Users can delve into the code, modify existing features, or add entirely new functionalities. This flexibility not only enhances the capabilities of the PGB-1 but also fosters a collaborative environment where users can share their creations and learn from each other.

Additionally, Wee Noise Makers have set up a dedicated Discord server for all PGB-1 users and enthusiasts to discuss, share, and contribute to the growing ecosystem.

Open-source software is not as common in the audio industry, but with this project, the aim is to follow the path of great manufacturers such as Mutable Instruments or Winterbloom.

Black Corporation Kijimi MK2 8-Voice Analogue Synthesiser
Cat: 1029533

8-voice analogue synthesiser with polyphonic aftertouch, MPE & microtuning
Notes: KIJIMI MK2 is crafted to be one of the most powerful polysynths ever built, all behind intuitive front-panel controls, from its continuous timbral variation to its exhaustive modulation matrix. The Black Corporation original features planetary-sized analog sound, inspired by the best of rare and classic synths, but unique to our own parallel galaxy.

Continuous analogue timbral control

Instead of fixed waveforms, KIJIMI's voltage-controlled oscillators can morph continuously through waveform types. Sine, triangle, sawtooth, and variable pulse waves are smoothly variable, with pulse width as you turn to the far right. It's a scheme that provides unique, independent timbral over each of the eight voices.

Deep 8-voice architecture

Each of KIJIMI 's 8 voices features 2 analogue oscillators each with a square sub-bass oscillator, for buttery timbres with extensive sound design options. The sub-oscillator produces an octave lower than the combined VCO1 and VCO2 outputs, meaning you can tune two sub-pitches. Hard sync is available in VCO sync and VCO1->2 and 2->1 configurations for maximum flexibility. There's also a noise source for adding bite and percussion components. A rich lowpass filter is built around the legendary 2140 chip and the ability to frequency-modulate it via VCO2, creates a full range of sounds from metallic and aggressive to subtle. Both filter cutoff and resonance are available as modulation destinations.

Unique envelope functionality with dedicated controls

Two ADSR envelopes come with independent rate multipliers, keyboard control of attack rate, and versatile routing. Engage the CYCLE button for a cycling trapezoidal mode, similar to that on vintage instruments like the EMS Synthi. Few polysynths offer this level of detailed control, let alone with front-panel controlsino menu diving needed.

Endless modulation programmability

Modulation possibilities set the KIJIMI apart from other polysynths. Two LFOs can be routed independently to up to eight destinations, directly on front-panel buttons, controlling frequency and waveform modulation, sub-oscillator amount, filter cutoff and frequency, and amplitude modulation. Each LFO includes multiple waveform options (sine, triangle, saw, ramp, square, random) and separate attack and decay knobs in addition to rate. ADSR2 sports four independent destinations, also via front-panel push buttons and knobs. Even velocity and aftertouch get their own dedicated control section for applying velocity or aftertouch to each parameter (LFO rate, waveform morph, sub, pitch bend, and VCA). Dedicated knobs let you apply your aftertouch and poly-aftertouch, to taste, right where you want it. You'll rarely use the menus, and when you do, it'll only be to unlock even more advanced functionality (like multiple LFO features!). KIJIMI is a rare case of fusing straightforward one-control-per-feature design with unrestricted possibilities.

Full MIDI and expressive control, tuning support

Combine all the elements, and KIJIMI is an instrument that's playable like no other. Each note you play separately triggers modulation, independently on each voice, with full control via aftertouch. Add in full MIDI control, complete MIDI polyphonic expression (MPE) support, advanced tuning capabilities (including microtuning via SCALA and 128 memory locations for tuning settings), and velocity polyphonic aftertouch, each with up to six more destinations with its own bipolar settings. KIJIMI finally brings a synthesizer architecture that can unlock the possibilities of your expressive controller of choice.

Updated package

The MK2 version of KIJIMI includes all the acclaimed sonic power and character of its predecessor, in an improved package. Updated firmware now includes the ability to assign different LFO settings (rate, waveform, envelope, and depth) to each individual destination. In addition to 128 factory and 1152 user presets, we've included user banks by Mathew Jonson, Richard Devine, and Paul Schilling. All this comes in a compact, 2.71kg/5.97 lb device with wood panels attached (or the option of metal rack ears instead). DIN MIDI and isolated USB are onboard.

ASM Hydrasynth Explorer 888 Polyphonic Wave Morphing Synthesiser (orange limited edition)
Cat: 1052523 Rel: 31 Jan 25

8-voice 37-key polyphonic digital wave morphing synthesiser
Notes: The HYDRASYNTH EXPLORER is the ultimate in power and portability, combining the powerful Hydrasynth sound engine with battery-powered operation and our new, mid-sized Polytouchr polyphonic aftertouch keybed. The user interface is designed with the utmost attention to detail, making sound creation a breeze. This is the ultimate, portable companion for any setup, and anywhere else a smaller footprint is needed.

With an advanced wavetable synthesis engine, 3 Oscillators, dual Wave Mutants, and 2 filters that can be configured in series or parallel, the tone generating capabilities are unmatched.

As for the performance capabilities, the Hydrasynth Explorer has our proprietary 37-note mid-sized Polytouchr keybed with polyphonic aftertouch. This provides a level of expressive, per-note control found only in certain vintage synths.

Polytouchr Keybed
The perennial pursuit of musical instrument manufacturers is to find better ways for musicians to express themselves. Options have been limited for keyboard players; we've had to settle for a velocity-only approach to emphasize one note over another. Pressure-sensitive keyboards could only change all of the notes at the same time. Not anymore!
Enter ASM, with our patented Polytouchr technology. The semi-weighted keybed on the Hydrasynth Explorer provides fully polyphonic aftertouch, as well as Note On / Note Off velocity sensitivity and the monophonic aftertouch found on other keybeds. Finally, variations in key pressure can affect notes individually. It feels great, too: the 37-note Polytouchr keybed on the Explorer features high quality, mid-sized keys, and you will feel right at home, right away. The revolutionary Hydrasynth Explorer Polytouchr keyboard helps you be more in touch with the music you are making. Now every note you play can ebb and flow like the tide.

Battery-powered operation
The Hydrasynth Explorer is highly portable! In addition to its compact size, it can be powered by 8 AA batteries for hours of music-making anywhere you want to go.

Oscillators
The tone generation capability is the heart of any synthesizer, and the 3 Hydrasynth oscillators are alive with potential. Each of the oscillators lets you choose from a selection of 219 single-cycle waveforms. And on top of that, two of the oscillators have powerful wavemorphing capabilities. Wavemorphing is a feature usually found on synths with preset wavetables. But creating user wavetables on those products is arduous or downright impossible. Unlike most wavetable synths, our oscillators 1 & 2 have our easy-to-use WAVELIST mode. This mode lets you select any 8 waves from our diverse collection of 219 waves, arrange them in the order you want, and then morph from one wave to another. This can be done automatically with any modulation source, such as an LFO or an envelope, or manually with a physical control such as polyphonic aftertouch or a Macro. And now in version 2.0 you can choose the bit depth of each oscillator, which puts those sought-after vintage or grungy sounds at your fingertips.

Mutants
Oscillators 1 & 2 are routed into our MUTANTS. The Mutants allow you to modulate, bend and sculpt the sound in new (and old) ways.

Each Mutant lets you choose from the following processes:
FM-Linear: This is for making classic FM sounds. Choose multiple FM sources, including external inputs.
WavStack™: Creates 5 copies of the input source and allows you to set a detune amount.
Osc Sync: This gives you those classic hard sync sounds. Try hard-syncing a morphing wavetable for some fun.
Pulse Width Modulation (PW-Orig): Performs the classic pulse width modulation on any waveform.
PW-Squeeze: Compresses the centre section of the waveform, for a unique type of PWM.
PW-ASM: Divides the incoming wave into 8 slices and lets you set the amount of FM that is applied to each segment. This is FM unleashed.
Harmonic Sweep: This will sweep the harmonics of the input source.
PhazDiff: Generates the difference of the incoming wave and a version that is inverted and phase-shifted.

The Mutants can also generate their own waveforms in both FM and Sync modes, so you don't have use another oscillator. Of course, the routing is flexible so you can choose the other oscillators as mod sources if you like.

Mixer / Filter Routing
The 3 Oscillators are fed into a mixer along with the Noise generator and Ring Modulator. The mixer gives you independent control over the levels and stereo positions of those 5 sources. After this you are able to choose how much signal from each source is routed to filters 1 and 2. The filters can be routed in parallel or series for ultimate flexibility. Who knew that a simple mixer could be so powerful? Well, in all humility, we did.

Filters
If oscillators and tone generators are the heart of a synthesizer, the filters are the soul. The soul of a Hydrasynth is a complex thing; it can claw or caress, scream or soothe, mangle or melt. It has been known to speak. The multi-faceted Hydrasynth filters are right in the thick of it. Filter 1 has 16 different models ranging from 1 to 8 poles, many with high-, band-, and low pass options. There is also a flexible vocal filter with formant control. Even if Filter 1 were the only filter the Hydrasynth had, it would take a lifetime to exhaust the possibilities. But it is not alone. Filter 2 is a 12dB per octave state-variable filter, which means it can sweep continuously from either low pass > bandpass > high pass or low pass > notch > high pass. It is similar to the classic SEM filter in many ways.
These two formidable filters can be configured in series or parallel. This means the one can feed and be sculpted by the other (series), or they can complement one another (parallel). With careful use of source panning in the Mixer module, the left and right outputs can be completely different or rich in unified complexity.

LFO's
5 Low-Frequency Oscillators
Much like our sound engine, the LFOs are not ordinary by any means.
The Hydrasynth LFOs feature a STEP mode that lets you create patterns with up to 64 steps. Having 5 mini step sequencers gives you an amazing number of possibilities for further shaping your sound.
Of course, there are also 10 standard waveforms available, including Sample and Hold, Noise, and Random.
Each LFO has delay, fade in, 3 triggering modes, smoothing, start phase, BPM sync, and a One-Shot mode so that they can act as envelopes.
The version 2.0 LFOs have some exciting new features, including a Step option for the One-Shot mode that allows the Step wave to advance by one step per trigger.
And LFOs now can be quantized to create stepped values. It's like bit reduction for your LFOs.
Wait...LFOs can be envelopes?! Can envelopes be LFOs? We're glad you asked...

Envelopes
5 DAHDSR Envelopes
An advanced sound engine needs plenty of modulation sources. Our 6-stage envelopes feature Delay, Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain, and Release stages.
The durations of the ADR stages can be set to seconds or subdivisions of the tempo, giving you envelopes that play in sync to your song.
In fact, you can also loop the envelopes, which turns them into LFOs that can be shaped by any source in the modulation matrix.
Each envelope can be triggered by up to four different sources, and there's a Tap Trigger option too.
And now the envelopes can be quantized to different step levels as of version 2.0. Bit reduction strikes again!

Modulation Matrix
The modulation capabilities on the Hydrasynth are endless. With 32 user-definable Modulation matrix slots, there are plenty of ways to use the 35 modulation sources and 191 modulation destinations. Almost everything in the synth engine can be a modulation destination, including the effects and arpeggiator. The modulation routes themselves can also become modulation destinations, and can be targeted by the Macros too. Modulation sources & destinations include the CV Mod Out jacks as well as all 128 MIDI CCs. We should mention that there are some hard-wired modulation routes located in other modules too. This means you don't have to burn up one of the 32 mod routes in the Modulation matrix to do certain basic functions.
It's rare that someone actually uses all 32 mod routes in a patch anyway, but hey, we're feeling generous.

Arpeggiator
The arpeggiator has all the standard arpeggio directions plus a few twists (up, down, and/or sideways, sort of). There's also a built-in phrase mode, and version 2.0 adds new features like Step Offset and increases the range to 6 octaves. Parameters like RATCHET and CHANCE will generate other semi-random rhythmic patterns to add life and spontaneity to your performance.
You can also modulate most of the parameters in the arpeggiator. Imagine using LFOs, Envelopes, Polyphonic Aftertouch or the Ribbon controller to modify your arpeggios in real time! It boggles the mind.

CV / Gate - MIDI - USB
Industry-standard MIDI and USB/MIDI interfaces are available on the Hydrasynth, but we go deeper and allow the use of CV / Gate interfaces for connecting to the modular world. This opens a door to the unlimited expansion of your musical horizons.
Our CV / Gate / Mod connectors support the standard voltages for Eurorack modulars, the 1.2V per octave Buchla standard, as well as some of the Japanese Volts > HZ products. The CV Mod Out jacks allow for modulation that reaches into the audio range, which multiplies your modulation capabilities.

Main Controls
The Main System controls are where you navigate the patch banks, configure system settings, and can view parameters like the envelopes, waveforms, and filters in the OLED screen.
The INIT and RANDOM buttons make it possible to initialize or randomize a complete patch, a specific module, or an individual parameter with a simple press & hold button combination. There's even an option that randomly selects features from other patches to make a new patch. The results are surprisingl

ADDAC System ADDAC814 6x6 Stereo Matrix Mixer Module
Cat: 1054403 Rel: 31 Jan 25

6x6 stereo matrix mixer module - 25HP + 8HP (33HP total)
Notes: We're pleased to announce our take on matrix mixers, a 6x6 stereo matrix easily expandable to larger configurations.

Matrix mixers may need some time to get used to, but they are very much self-explanatory, each knob controls the volume of a matrix point routing the respective input to the desired output. The flexibility of a matrix mixer is far superior to a standard mixer, the possibility to route any input to any single or multiple outputs allow for very complex chains, combining parallel and series processing while easily reconfigurable without any extra patching.

All Inputs Left channels are normalled to the Right Inputs.
Blank areas on the left and bottom edges of the panel allow for the user to write all the inputs and outputs sources that each channel is connected to.
Different coloured knobs for faster visual recalling: Black for A,C,E Outputs Dark Red for B,D,F Outputs Cream knobs for potential feedback diagonal: 1A, 2B, 3C, 4D, 5E, 6F.
DC coupled circuitry, can be used to mix both audio or cv signals.
Jumpers on the back of both modules allow the user to set each channel independently to Line or Synth Level, making it easier to integrate with external sources, sound processors or guitar pedals.

INTERNAL CONNECTIONS
The control and input modules are connected via a large 34 wire ribbon cable, only the control module needs to be connected to the Busboard.
Extra IDC sockets are used for connecting larger configurations like 12x12 or 18x18.
Other configurations are also possible: 6x12, 12x6, 12x12, etc...
Up to 12x12 all ribbon cables are provided, for larger matrixes custom ones will be necessary, contact us directly if planning to go BIG.

POTENTIOMETERS
Although we're using Thonk's Tall Trimmer Topper for Knobs all potentiometers used have metal shaft and are not plastic trimmer potentiometers.

SoMa Laboratory Pulsar-23 Turret Organismic Drum Machine (pink)
Cat: 1029009

Organismic drum machine with turrets
Notes: PULSAR-23 is an organismic drum machine designed by Vlad Kreimer. It has a semi-modular structure and consists of 23 independent modules. PULSAR can be used for the synthesis of percussion instruments and rhythms, bass and melodic lines, effects and sound landscapes, as well as a source of control voltage and powerful analog FX processor.
The PULSAR functions in three different modes: stand-alone, MIDI control and CV control. Moreover, all the above features and control modes can work simultaneously in any proportion or combination.
Additionally, PULSAR offers live circuit bending capabilities and the use of the artist's body conductivity to create patches and cross modulations. PULSAR continues the line of organismic synthesizers begun by LYRA-8, but now in the area of percussion instruments.

Please note that Pulsar is an experimental analog synth that means that it has some small noise and bleeds that can't affect your studio production or live performance but can be hearable in some modes. If you need a perfect silence and isolation of sound modules we recommend using 100% digital hardware.

Boss GT-1000 Multi-Effects Processor

Multi-effects processor
Notes: Industry-leading tone with breakthrough Boss technology

Delivering unmatched sound quality and musical expression, the GT-1000 ushers in a new era of performance in amp/effects processors for guitar and bass. This premium tone machine debuts our groundbreaking AIRD (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics) technology, realized with decades of BOSS research and class-leading 32-bit/96 kHz processing. There's also a huge range of BOSS effects, complete with ultra-flexible routing options and deep real-time control. And with built-in Bluetooth, you can tweak settings wirelessly from your mobile device via a dedicated app. Packing immense power in a streamlined pro design, the GT-1000 is a game changer that brings new levels of creative expression to players everywhere.

For optimal performance, stay up to date with the current GT-1000 system software and BOSS Tone Studio

Designed for Unparalleled Sound Quality

The GT-1000 brings you no-compromise audio performance backed by the latest BOSS technologies. It's the first-ever guitar multi-effects unit with 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit floating-point processing, and 96 kHz sampling rate throughout, while the custom DSP engine packs over three times the power of previous generations. This immense processing muscle unlocks far greater sonic detail than ever before possible, making it easy to get the sounds you're after without endless parameter tweaks and microscopic EQ adjustments.

AIRD: A Revolution in Digital Amp Processing

At its core, the GT-1000 harnesses BOSS's breakthrough AIRD technology for previously unattained musical power. Based on the comprehensive Tube Logic concept behind the renowned Katana, Waza, Nextone, and Blues Cube amplifiers, AIRD takes the amp processor to a new level of performance, flexibility, and practical usability.

Highly Musical Guitar Amplifiers, Crafted with AIRD

The GT-1000 features a wide range of BOSS original amplifiers suitable for all guitar styles, from super-clean to ultra-heavy. Several amp types employ MDP (Multi-Dimensional Processing) technology for dynamic, nuanced tone that reaches beyond the capabilities of analogue designs. Classic tube amps throughout history are also included, from coveted vintage combos to modern high-gain heads. Two amps can be used at once in a single patch, allowing you to switch between two sounds, blend amps for complex tones, or achieve big, expansive sound in stereo setups.

Extraordinary Effects

The GT-1000 comes loaded with all types of effects, from BOSS classics and retro stompboxes to modern effects driven by MDP and other advanced technologies. Multiple series and parallel routings are easy to set up via the intuitive interface. And with the clever Stompbox feature, you can adjust commonly used amp and effects settings across multiple patches at once. There are also two effects loops for patching in your favourite external effects and preamps.

Bass Multi-Effects Flagship

The GT-1000 takes bass processing to new heights with next-generation sound quality and ultra-flexible performance features. A variety of AIRD bass preamps are on hand for shaping your core tone, while eight different overdrive/distortion effects are available for additional colour and gain. There's an MDP bass compressor as well, plus chorus, flanger, touch wah, and many other effect types specially tuned for bass.

Intensive Performance Control
With its ten footswitches and expression pedal with toe switch, the GT-1000 provides comprehensive creative control wherever you play. And you can go even deeper with external switches, pedals, MIDI, and USB. The onboard controls come with default assignments for preset selection and per-patch control targets, but you can easily reassign them to operate nearly any function. Manual and Pedalboard modes are also available to instantly reconfigure the footswitches for additional control in the heat of the moment.

Powerful Recording and Editing Tools

The GT-1000 features a multi-channel USB audio/MIDI interface for flexible computer recording and efficient re-amping. Edit sounds remotely with the BOSS Tone Studio app, either via USB on a computer or wirelessly from your mobile device. And use the dedicated IR loader software to expand your tone options with 16 of your favourite speaker cab IRs.

GT-1000 Version 4.0: New X Amps and More

The Version 4.0 update brings even more creative features to the GT-1000 platform, including three newly developed high-gain guitar amp types that spotlight the continuing evolution of our advanced AIRD and MDP technologies:

X-Ultra-Inspired by a classic British stack amp modified with a modern multi-stage gain circuit. MDP provides intelligent control of the clipping in each gain stage, realizing extended dynamic response that's not possible with traditional analogue designs.

X-Optima-With many high-gain tube amplifiers, it can be difficult to strike the ideal tonal balance between chords and single notes. X-Optima features an innovative new gain algorithm that takes full advantage of MDP's adaptive frequency shaping, providing well-defined rhythm sounds and rich lead tones that sit perfectly in every mix.

X-Titan-This articulate amp type is perfect for aggressive metal styles driven by heavy riffs. MDP delivers sharp, tight sounds on the low strings while retaining fatness and body in the high ranges, making it well-suited for down tunings and extended-range guitars with seven or eight strings.

The update also includes six new bass preamps, two new drive effects, and more.

Der Mann Mit Der Maschine P8S8 Slider & Switch Controller Module

8 HP slider & switch controller module for those who love those little sliders
Notes: The P8S8 controller is for those who love those little sliders. The sliders behave like regular pots, so we named the module P8S8 (the "S" stands for the switches).

The P8S8 has eight Alpha sliders with a range of 20 mm. As a speciality the sliders contain LEDs. Their brightness can be controlled and used for any purpose. As long as you don't use the LED registers, the brightness of the LEDs reflect the current slider positions.

At the bottom the P8S8 has eight 3-way toggle switches.

As always in the DROID universe, it can be patched as whatever comes to mind, but looking at this module, it's almost imposing to be used as modulation sequencer or ADSR controller.

Shipping includes a short ribbon cable for connecting the controller to the master or to the previous controller. If you want to place the controller further away from the master, you can purchaser longer ribbon cables here in the shop.

Mooer Audio Ocean Machine II Delay/Reverb/Looper Effects Pedal
Cat: 1045995

Dual delay, reverb and looper effects pedal
Notes: Similarly to the original, the Ocean Machine II offers two independent delay modules, each with nine different delay types of up to two seconds, including household names such as digital, tape, and echo delays, as well as more abstract options, such as galaxy, crystal, and rainbow. A high-fidelity reverb module complements these delays with nine reverb types, as well as a shimmer effect. Each delay and reverb effect can also be 'frozen,' creating static ambient drones, an effect that sounds particularly impressive considering the pedal's DSP upgrades.

While the original Ocean Machine's looping capabilities provided just 44 seconds of loop storage, the new addition features an impressive 120 seconds. To experiment with this feature, along with Ocean Machine II's other sonic capabilities, users can use an intuitive LCD screen along with 12 knobs (four for each delay and reverb module) to easily adjust parameters within the device's 'Play Mode.' Three footswitches are also provided to facilitate independent effect toggling, tap tempo control, looper interfacing, and a preset selector.

Once the guitarist has crafted an interesting effect chain, they can save their work as a preset and enter 'Patch Mode,' in which they can toggle between saved settings with each of the three footswitches. In total, the Ocean Machine II provides eight preset storage banks, each of which supports up to three presets, resulting in a total of 24 save slots.

The pedal's versatility is further enhanced by its programmable parallel and serial effect chain hybrid, a signature element of Devin Townsend's tone creation. This feature allows users to customize the order of effects, providing endless creative possibilities. Further programming options can be accessed through the LED screen, which impressively includes synchronizable MIDI connectivity, a feature that was absent in the original Ocean Machine.

In addition to MIDI, the pedal supports various external control systems, including expression pedal input through a TRS cable. Furthermore, the pedal is compatible with MOOER's F4 wireless footswitch, allowing for extended capabilities for mapping presets and other features. A USB-C port is also available for firmware updates, ensuring that the pedal remains up-to-date with the latest features and improvements.

Considering the experimental nature of Devin Townsend's performances, MOOER has also gone above and beyond to facilitate the seamless integration of Ocean Machine II into any audio setup. The device features full stereo inputs and outputs, as well as adjustable global EQ settings, letting users tailor their sound to suit different environments. Guitarists can also customize their effect chains to be used with true bypass or DSP (buffered) bypass, depending on their preferences and specific use cases.

Overall, Ocean Machine II brings higher quality delay and reverb algorithms, augmented looping support, and various updated connections to Devin Townsend's original device. As per MOOER's typical standard, the pedal is engineered to withstand the rigors of touring and frequent use, allowing guitars to bring their special creations and atmospheric drones to the stage.

Notes: The RC-500 is an essential partner for guitarists, singer/songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, and anyone who wants to take their looping to the next level. Craft real-time compositions with two loop tracks, mic and stereo instrument inputs, rhythms, and inspiring Loop FX, all backed by premium 32-bit audio quality. Store loops in onboard memories, and explore expanded operation with external controls and MIDI. Filled with next-generation Loop Station features, the RC-500 gives serious creators the tools they need to develop new ideas and deliver impactful performances that will leave audiences wanting more.

Super Sound Quality

Featuring best-in-class 32-bit AD/DA and 32-bit floating-point processing, the RC-500 captures your personal sound with full fidelity and keeps loops crystal clear, even with multiple overdubs. And with 13 hours of stereo recording time, there's plenty of space for extended creative journeys.

Connect, Loop, and Mix

With its versatile I/O and free-flowing interface, the RC-500 is ready to support all your musical visions. Connect mono/stereo instruments and pedal effects, plus a mic to the dedicated XLR input-complete with phantom power if needed. Use the two tracks independently for song-style composition, or together for rich multi-track textures. The LCD backlight changes colour to clearly show the current operation mode, while hands-on track faders and a mic level knob provide direct access to volume control as you loop.

Flexible Creative Control

Three onboard footswitches make it simple to control recording and playback, track switching, and more. For expanded operation, you can connect up to two external footswitches for direct control of many assignable functions, or an expression pedal for continuous adjustments. And for advanced rigs, the space-saving TRS MIDI I/O enables remote operation from MIDI switchers and foot controllers, plus MIDI sync with drum machines and DAWs.

Personalize Your Setup

The RC-500's I/O and footswitches are configured for basic operations by default, but they can be reassigned in a variety of ways to meet your custom needs. Route left/right input sources to separate tracks, or send guitar and vocals to independent outputs. Use the footswitches to turn effects on/off, start/stop rhythms, and more. Custom assignments are saved along with phrase memories, letting you instantly reconfigure the RC-500 for any application.

Energise Performances with Rhythms and Loop FX

Loaded with inspiring rhythms and evocative loop processing, the RC-500 is primed to bring groove and colour to all your looping adventures. Each of the 57 preset rhythms include A/B variations, while 16 different drum kits provide sounds to match any style. Designed for live performance, Loop FX like repeat, scatter, and more infuse your loops with instant sonic energy. There's a cool reverse function too, perfect for creating unique sonic flavours on demand.

Capture, Practice, and Perform

The RC-500's 99 phrase memories let you store loops as fast as you create them, complete with rhythm and kit selections, audio settings, and control assignments. Loop audio can be backed up to a computer via USB. And with WAV import via BOSS Tone Studio, the RC-500 becomes a central playback hub for lesson material, jam tracks, or backing music for your next gig.

Herzlich Labs Cortisol Legend Germanium Saturation & Distortion Effect Module
Cat: 1059888

A spiritual successor to Herzlich's Steroid Legend; 4hp of white hot saturation and hairy distortion
Notes: Introducing the Cortisol Legend: a spiritual successor to one of my early designs, the Steroid Legend, it presents as 4hp of white hot saturation and hairy distortion, and features manual control over two op-amp driven gain stages, with a diode saturation control in the middle, giving you precise control over distortion ranging from smoldering saturation all the way into utter rail-to-rail fuzzification.

As for the diodes, the Cortisol Legend has two flavors on tap: Steroid Legend-inspired diodes and genuine, Cold War-era USSR-made Germanium diodes from the far reaches of Europe. These diodes are getting increasingly hard to find, but have been known for their warm and fuzzy characteristics by guitar pedal enthusiasts for years. Here, you get the genuine article, for as long as they can be reliably sourced.

In addition to having control over the saturation depth, the Cortisol Legend offers an additional control parameter: Eustress and Distress. Roll off the edge and noise a bit with a Styroflex-capacitor filter which varies with saturation depth, or leave no edge unjagged with this setting.

Speaking of noise, this thing is LOUD, so you may want to have an attenuator such as the psATT on hand, unless of course the loudness is exactly what you want. Hand in hand with the overdrive and distortion comes, of course, beautiful new harmonics added to anything from single waveforms to samples, sounds and entire mixes.

Various diodes will be available at different times, but all variants are ultimately limited - all Germanium diodes used in these are new old stock from the Cold War, and one day they will run out.. Expect individual modules to have a bit of their own character.

Notes: The Morphor Sequencer - Quad Gate/CV is a versatile tool for both live Eurorack performances and songwriting. This module can be configured as a 2-, 3-, or 4-track sequencer, depending on the selected output configuration. Key features include up to 4 independent tracks, each capable of holding up to 16 pages containing up to 16 steps. Users can configure tracks as gate, CV, or combined gate/CV tracks, and even set up triad chords. The module supports customizable step lengths, glide times, individual track playback orders and reset behaviors making it ideal for creative sequences.

This module can operate as a standalone unit using its internal clock or be easily synchronized with an external clock source for integrated use within a larger system. The clock and reset jacks can function as both inputs or outputs, allowing flexible configuration to match your setup.

For expanded setups, multiple Morphor Sequencer modules can be daisy-chained via the bus connection on the back, ensuring that clock and reset signals are shared seamlessly across all connected modules. Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dark Star Stereo Soundscape Reverb Effects Pedal (pink limited edition)

SoMa Laboratory Pulsar-23 Turret Organismic Drum Machine (light green)
Cat: 1029002

What's in the kit:
PULSAR-23
PSU
22 multi-colour cables with alligator clips 65cm
8 multi-colour cables with alligator clips 30cm
High-quality handmade bag for transportation
