Review: Some 33 years after it became one of the most-played dancefloor anthems of 1988, Salt N Pepa's party-starting anthem, 'Push It', returns to record stores on clear (but also splattered) vinyl. We can't image there will be many amongst you who haven't already heard it, but if not, you're in for a treat! Energetic, punchy, percussive and built around a memorable synthesizer melody, the track is presented here in two forms: the full vocal original mix from 1987 (featuring the group's now iconic raps) and the rap-free instrumental take. Over on the flip there's a chance to enjoy two more classics from the duo, both from 1993: 'Shoop', a kitsch slab of head-nodding hip-hop-pop, and En Vogue collaboration 'Whatta Man'.
