Healing Force Project - "Opium"
Review: Acido Records is rightfully gaining something of a cult following akin to the Sex Tags crew it is vaguely affiliated with, though the Berlin based label has its own defined aesthetic approach thanks to the stewardship of founder Dynamo Dreesen. In a week where the label serves up some excellent new produce from the Dresvn pairing of Dynamo Dreesen and SVN, Acido also slip out a second round of their Soundtracks For No Film series. Heavily conceptual in tone and execution, 291out largely contributes this time with a hefty six productions of outer spatial electronics which at times sound befitting of a contemporary Kafka screen adaptation and other times eminently suitable for the dancefloor ("Automobil Club Lugano" in particular) Do check the flip which has Sequencias contributor Healing Force Project excelling with the suitably named "Opium".

3D & Robert Owens - "Known Love" (7:51)
Olivier Giacomotto & Quivver - "Snailblazer" (6:40)
Dave Seaman & Hernan Cattaneo - "Napkin Knowledge" (7:28)
Argia & Jepe - "Salitre" (7:38)
Review: In celebration of their tenth birthday, Selador marks the occasion in style with a four-track collaborative EP, featuring tracks from 3D, Robert Owens, Olivier Giacomotto, Quivver, Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo, Argia, and Jepe. The opening track, 'Known Love', is a deep, pulasting house tune that feels like an instant classic, perhaps thanks to the soulful, pop-tinged vocals - think LCD soundsystem meets Four Tet. 'Snailblazer', the second track on the EP, takes a much darker turn, with a chugging, EBM-esque feel. Full-bodied and complete with obscured vocals, this is the kind of track to pull out your bag when it's time to really get stuck in. On the B-side, 'Napkin Knowledge' draws on the glistening synths of eurodance, yet still securing the melodies to a grounded bassline and rhythm section. 'Salitre' is the perfect closing track, rising up in a gleaming, ecstatic melody, before delicately returning to ground level. A varied yet firmly cohesive collaborative release - the perfect way for Selador to kick off their 2023 catalogue.

6th Borough Project - "Estranged Lover"
Haku - "Rugo"
Andy Ash - "Somehow"
Deep Space Orchestra - "Erase Everything"
Review: The Use of Weapons imprint has mastered the easy to grasp, hard to master formula of matching clutches of (excellent) original tracks from Cottam and label bosses Deep Space Orchestra with well-chosen and even better executed remixes from the likes of Hunee, Neville Watson and Marcello Napoletano. The fourth release sees a change in tack, with the label opting to focus on original material from 6th Borough Project, Haku, Andy Ash and of course Deep Space Orchestra. Graeme The Revenge Clark and Craig Smith kick off proceedings with the suitable thick set slow burning "Estranged Lover", though it's "Rugo" by Haku that impresses most. The new project of Deep Space Orchestra's Chris Barker, the track is a superb kaleidoscopic concoction of fizzing uptempo live percussion, synths and drum machines that has more than a touch of the Carl Craigs about it. Andy Ash switches proceedings back to chunky mutant discoid dirt with the heads down, tops off vibes of "Somehow" while the Deep Space Orchestra head for the expanses of future tech jazz with the ten minute odyssey "Erase Everything".

Tv Out - "Always Anyways" (7:54)
Hymns - "Route Acid" (6:06)
TUC - "4x5_83x2" (6:40)
Review: Aussie imprint Salt Mines made something of an impact with their debut release, a multi-artist EP that offered a distinctive take on the dreamy, head-in-the-clouds world of ambient-leaning, analogue deep house. This follow-up is every bit as enjoyable. There's a wonderfully spacey, loved-up feel about the intelligent techno electronics, tactile pads and hissing drum machine hits of 92 Spacedrum Orchestra's "Raw Bass (Dub 1)", while TV Out sneakily combines the new age haziness of Hashman Deejay, with the rolling grooves of Chez Damier style deep house on "Always Anyways". Hymn's "Route Acid" sounds like an unlikely jam session between Global Communication, Larry Heard and Psychik Warriors Ov Gaia, while TUC's sublime, ultra-deep "4x5_83x2" feels like a long lost, early '90s ambient techno masterpiece.

Review: The mighty Defeated has got a fun package on its hands here with some fat disco and house anthems primed and ready for big room summer fun. A'Studio's 'SOS' (feat Polina - Skylark remix - Nic Fanciulli edit) is chunky house with a hooky vocal and rolling groove designed to sweep you up and away. Chloe Caillet then remixes Tensnake's classic 'Coma Cat' into a hands-in-the-air house stomper with epic strings. Harry Romero's sweaty 'Revolution' gets its drums buffed up and well swung by a House Master's Edit and Prunk & Rona Ray steal the EP at the last with their lush vocal house cut 'Keep It Simple.'

Review: After a successful first round that featured the likes of Kassem Mosse alongside Juniper and some lesser known friends of the label, Manchester promoters-turned-imprint Meandyou are back with another various artists release that plumbs further depths around the fringe pools of house and techno. Aatropa & Tephillin deliver the most upfront cut in "Bells Jam", which still lurks in oddball synth flourishes around a chunky thud of kick drum, before Fabric drifts out into ambient bliss. Herron meanwhile plies a long lead-in before blossoming into a dexterous and delicate broken techno formation of the highest order, and then Metropolis cools things back down with a winsome groan of a beatless excursion.

Minutes Of Funk
Review: 3024's pilfering of West Country talent continues unabated with the rather busy of late Julio Bashmore being swiftly followed by the equally prolific Addison Groove in releasing essential club tackle for Martyn's imprint. Anyone who has indulged in Mr T Williams' recent output for Swamp81 or Tectonic will have an inkling of the current Addison Groove sonic flex, all tightly wound post circa 130bpm 808 patterns, though "It's Got Me" is truly characterised by the disparate sensation of woozy melodic flourishes being diced by the rhythmic swagger. Flipside you get future funk electro odyssey of "Minutes Of Funk" with swathes of purple textures allowed to breath beneath a perma bouncy bass thrust. The midway drop into a bumping house pattern will grab you every time!

Make Um Bounce
Review: In between brief dalliances with Swamp81 and 3024, Addison Groove shows some hometown support with this essential twelve for Pinch's Tectonic imprint. "This Is It" could only come from the sonic palette of Tony Williams, with steppy juke heavy 808 riddims ripping out of the speaker cones at 138bpm amidst a barrage of expertly spliced vocals and rubbery rave bleeps. Amidst the rowdiness, there's a distinct progression to the track which makes it a worthy successor to last year's triumphant "Footcrab". "Make Um Bounce" slips down the tempo scale a notch or two for a more standard 4x4 flex that's brimming with enough bass and rasping percussion to find a place amidst Jackmaster's forthcoming excellent mix for Fabric. Big tip!

SCREAM
Review: Discos Capablanca dig into the undergrowth of German acid culture to unearth ADSX, otherwise known as Andre Fischer. An electronic music lifer since the 80s in Frankfurt, Fischer has avoided the limelight but been involved in all manner of movements. His ADSX (or Audiosex) alias was responsible for some serious acid heat back in the 90s, and it's revived here alongside former Tresor and Snax DJ Hanoben. "Phone Sex" is a dense and trippy freakout, while "Acid Sex" takes a lean and mean approach with the 303 front and centre. On the B side, resurgent Detroit champion Sharif Laffrey gets busy with a remix of "Scream" that stretches out over 12 minutes in his usual heavy-loaded, feverish and utterly on-point style.

Frank's Einsamkeit (5:51)
Review: Audiosex and Hanoben stepped out together on Discos Capablanca back in 2018 with the on-point acidities of Phone Sex, and now they're teaming up once again for this killer clutch of edit tackle for the always interesting Duca Bianco label. Rather than the well-mined stocks of disco and funk that usually get dusted down by edit scavenegers, these two have turned to synth pop and German new wave sounds, coming up with four deep cover, deliciously dishevelled pieces which align perfectly with the brand of acidic club music they make themselves. 'Elvira's Katzenfisch' is a prime case in point - a broad, sweeping slice of synthwave which sounds like it might slide off the reel to reel at any moment, while 'Frank's Einsamkeit' swells into a searing 303 burner for the darkest dungeon dancefloors.

Head honchos Agents Of Time venture down an electro route with "East Coast", as do the ever impressive London Modular Alliance on the hypnotic "Buck One". Man of the moment Aussie Jensen Interceptor channels classic Drexciyan aesthetics on "Manix" before homeboys and label staples Hiver come through with the slinky and hypnotic tech house of "Stasys" and Detroit veteran Kris Wadsworth makes a surprising appearance with some slow burning minimalism displayed on closer "Abroad".

Review: The Greyscale label builds on a fine first EP with a second various artists affair that showcases a fresh take on tech house. Francisco Aguado opens up with 'Vertical Time,' a warm, deep rooted roller for those early evening sets. Giacomo Pellegrino offers a much more heavy and grainy dub techno cit with some deft vocals samples hooking you in. Dubonautik's 'Lost' is a more twisted dub with late night energy and an underlying sense of menace before Heavenchord closes out with the most seductive tune of the lot. Review: Danny Was A Drag King, the delightfully named new record label initiative betwixt Ajello and Hell Yeah launches with a veritable bang! "Chocolate Black Leather" sees the former veterans of the contemporary Italo disco scene team up with it's premier queen, Hard Ton, for a delightfully loud mixture of crisp drums, acidic basslines and schizoid synth arpeggiations - all naturally engulfed in the diva stylings of Hard Ton. Just to add an extra smattering of "you might want to buy this" D.W.D.K. enlisted Brooklyn icon Brennan Green to get busy on the source material - and in a pique of generosity the China Town boss came through with no less than three variants. Whilst all three are tinged with acidic intent to varying degrees it is the full-on wig out of "Acid Dub" that impresses most.

Side-1 kicks off with Albion's 'Nucleare,' an early 80s DIY sound track seasoned with robotic Italian vocals, serving as a unique introduction. Review: This split EP offers a number of attractions, not least a luscious sound that fixes classic, Detroit style futurism to vintage deep house grooves. There's something particularly galactic about the undulating synths and tight grooves of Hakim Murphy's "Hazey Plains In Time", while the same producer's "Chill" delivers a bubbling journey through warm electronics and tasty melodies. More obviously floor-friendly is Amir Alexander's borderline anthemic "Eyes Open Mouth Shut" - all touchy-feely chords, booming grooves and cascading synth melodies - while the quicker "Bittersweet Memories" evokes images of classic Motor City productions. Impressive stuff, all told.

Review: Blimey, if this isn't major meeting of musical Midas minds then we don't know what is. Alter Echo, E3 and Headland all collaborating with legendary dub flautist Diggory Kenrick. "Temple Duel" sets the scene in deep underground chambers, untouched by the sun. Reverb space is our only guide and ritual combat is the only way out as we make our way through subsonic 808 bass foundations, a near-industrial mid-range bass guitar groove, stiff snares, stick-fighting percussion and Diggory's torchlight melody. A truly fluid hypnotic narrative that arcs through the dark, if you're looking for an even foggier route flip for "Temple Dub" where the torch is extinguished and you have nothing but your sonic wits to take you home. Review: BOOM! Our favourites, Cititrax, roll the third editions of Tracks out onto our shelves, and the results are unsurprisingly strong on this excellent various artists comp. It's a mixed bag of skills, as per usual, and the sounds are those of a new NYC, fuelled by a new sort of post-industrial sensibility. Amato Y Mariana open with the tight beats and groove of "Queires Bailar", followed closely by the ominous compositions of the EBM-flavoured "Montgat" from The Sixteen Steps. On the flip, His Dirty Secrets bleeps out some morphed acid on "Structures", and "Another Stranger" from Further Reductions churns out a slow, mild-mannered house experiment with its roots clearly planted in the coldest of waves. Sick.

Review: The French brat pack are back; Around7 and Joss Moog are a couple of Phil Weeks' proteges and they turn in some sweet disco edits here. They just so happen to own the label too. Around7's "Live At Fillmore" sounds so awesome; is it possibly a Moodymann/Norma Jean Bell edit? Moog's "I cant Say No" is some proper disco house deepness. On the flip, they've got some newcomers in the form of Paul Cut with "Heaven" a loopy soul-funk cut up and Hatelate with "The Boogie Show" which is pretty sweet, who did he sample on this one again? Reminiscent of "Working Nights" era Trus'me.

Review: Its not like Metalheadz have ever been away, but it feels like the label has been working with a renewed creative vigour in 2014. Fresh off dropping the excellent Ulterior Motive LP, Metalheadz switch it back to matters of a 12" nature with this killer double upper cut of moody rollers from crew members Arp XP, Nitri and HLZ on the METHXX series. Up top Arp XP & HLZ collaborate on the prime slab of 97 style D &B that is "Good Old Days" watch out for that ghostly saxophone wedged deep beneath the finely cut drum edits and twisting bass. Down below HLZ goes solo on the agro "Gaia", a cut where the drums are rolled so tight you can feel the tension almost snapping, whilst classic jungle flavours abound on release highlight "Makes Me Wonder" from Arp XP and Nitri!

Review: Musek return for another V/A release, flaunting their artists' variegated hitmaking capacities. Fronting the release is a wonderful rework of Stockholm trio Art Fact's 'Rain In The South' from 1989, to which Francesco Farfa and Hamsa bring extra electronic-bodyweight to an originally dripping synth tune. A mystical mood is continually proferred across 'Mystic Perc' through to 'Blue Yes' by Roberto Manolio, traversing chime tinglings, acid breaks and dreamy vocals: "pretty blue eyes... you're mesmerised... don't look to hard... you may never come back from that..."

Review: It's something of a pleasant surprise to see French veteran Ludovic Llorca popping up on the second volume of House of Disco's HODSTASH edits series. Under his Art of Tones alias, the one-time F Communications stalwart turns in a couple of house-friendly cut-ups of classic tracks. "Unlimited Love", for example, offers a head-nodding, toe-tapping rework of Love Unlimited Orchestra's slow dance classic "Love's Theme", while "Stepping In & Out" successfully chops and tools up a similarly familiar disco classic. House of Disco regular Harry Wolfman continues the theme on the flip, delivering a banging version of Prince classic "Erotic City", before closing proceedings with the sweaty P-Funk-goes-tech house chug of "Schoolin".

Arttu - "Can't Get Down" (feat Kaye)
Hakim Murphy - "ES1"
Review: Philpot's Traxworx series got off to a blinding start earlier this year with the dust down from Roman Rauch and label regular Ike and it looks to be quite the promising endeavour if the line-ups remain as strong as this second duel featuring Arttu and Hakim Murphy. Neither artist really needs a formal introduction here and both are well suited for the floor focused nature of this series. Arttu is first up with "Can't Get Down" a collaboration with Kaye that bounces along with loose and deadly intent - if you liked the Geeeman stuff on Clone you will love this pappy, especially when that sax comes in! On the flip Innerspace Halflifer Hakim Murphy goes for the abstract approach on "ES1" which features some superb drum edits.

Review: Whisky Disco invite a trio of fresh faces to their ever-growing talent troupe for the Disco Darling EP. Andy Ash takes the lead with a loopy, strutting slice of sample-laced house that wouldn't go amiss in a Mark Farina set while Vincenzo De Bull & Halve Soul lower the tempo, invite us on a Balearic picnic and insist we gobble up huge chunks of Sade's "Cherry Pie". Deeper into the EP we find firm label friends Rabo & Snob laying down a velvet bed of Rhodes and vocal harmonies before the final label newcomer JP Source plays a slo-mo game of sample patty-cake with loopy disco mischief.

Review: Ralph Lawsons'20/20 Vision label has done a fine job of evolving and re-emerging after its 20th anniversary and is now serving up cutting edge sounds from fresh new artists once more. It has done plenty of good work in the world of electro recently but here it goes back to deep house from a fine rabble of artists. There is a slick bump n funk to the opener before warped cosmic tones and neon colours define the speedy deep techno of Harrison BDP's 'Dirty Mochyn.' On the flip are some more of those breezy Adam Pits beats and Keisuke's 'OK Taiko' then brings an early, percussive house vibe that takes us back to late 80s Chicago.

Review: Back ion 2021, the relaunched Foliage Records imprint offered up a killer mix from NYC house legends Mood II Swing, the must-check Deep Rooted. Soon, the revitalised label will release a sequel, with long-serving British deep house don Atjazz at the helm. There's much to enjoy throughout, from the tense, slowly building deep-tech shuffle of Halo''s 'Glorty (Atjazz Galaxy Art Remix)'and the sun-splashed 6am bounce of Atjazz's remix of Dominique Fils-Aime's gorgeous 'Sun Rise', to the dreamy dancefloor wooziness of Ralf GUM's 'AWA' (re-imagined by Atjazz as an Osunlade-esque spiritual house workout) and the jazzy, bass-guitar-propelled broken house excellence of 'On The Road (Vocal Mix)', a three-way collab between Atjazz, Kelli Sae and The Realm.

Review: Since -re-establishing his early noughties Visions imprint in 2017, Swiss scene stalwart Alex Attias has delivered some of his most impressive and musically dexterous material. He's at it again here on a two-tracker that showcases his love of studio collaboration. Our pick of the pair is exuberant, life-affirming A-side "The Message (For You)", a sublime slab of loose-limbed Latin house soulfulness featuring vocals from Justin Chapman and keys-work from Japanese artist Hajime Yochizawa. Attias' old pal Mark De Clive-Lowe lends a hand of equally positive and sparkling flipside "The Waiting Game", adding all manner of jazz-funk inspired sound synths to a fine, rubbery deep house workout.

Review: It may be a slight shift down in gears from the Brothers' first sonic ear-bashing, which saw the biologically linked Truss and Tessela supply the fizzing hot "UC" alongside Andrew and Dimitry of AnD and Tom Dicicco's monstrous "Multiple Visions", but BROS002 sees the label continue to canvas UK techno's all-embracing reach of industrial and experimental styles. A new cast of all-caps headline this second missive, which sees the label maintain it's sub rosa approach to releasing music. It's since been made known however that AW\\PB, aka Perc and Sync24 supplied the heated "209", while the Cassegrain duo, aka AT\\HE deliver "Liars Go Astray" - both of which furtively skirt between raw and steroid-injected electro and pulsating club techno.

Considering the likes of local heroes Vince Watson and Stephen Brown; we know the Scots have knack for hi-tech soul and this release does not disappoint. Starting out with "Baltra" then the epic acid odyssey "Fade Away", we then get treated to the soulful and emotive electro of Highfield Casual's "Highfield Daze" which will appeal to fans of Gerald Hanson or Gerald Donald without a doubt. Henry Hyde - "Wading Through" (6:52)
Review: As the London-based NorthSouth Records enter their fifth year they also arrive at their tenth release. After a run of artist EPs NSR returns to the split format to deliver four tracks from two of the label's founding members; Sam Bangura and Harry McCanna. On the North side we hear Sam's first cuts pressed to vinyl for the imprint. Shining with his characteristic sound of bubbling melodies, refined grooves and tied together with a growling low end, 'Jaspe's Groove' and 'Marble Leg' are two driving tunes aimed straight for those facemelting late-night moments.

Heading down to the South side we catch Harry working again under his alias Henry Hyde. 'More Days Inside' starts things off on something of a mellow tip, whilst still being a functional track for the dance floor. 'Wading Through' on the other hand offers up shuffling percussion, spacey synth plucks and one of Harry's signature squirmy, swarming basslines. It's an EP that showcases some of the signature NorthSouth sounds and who better for it to come from than two of its own.

Alex Banks - "Be The One" (feat Elizabeth Bernolz)
Onra - "Blast"
Henrik Schwarz - "We Are Bankrupt"
Brandt Bauer Frick - "Jungle Love" (feat Vic Mensa & Om'mas Keith)
Review: As the title suggests, this sampler is the second 12" shaped accompaniment to Modeselektion 3, perhaps the most diverse compilation yet from the Monkeytown stable. Indeed the four artists featured here are testament to that with Monkeytown newbie Alex Banks lining up with veteran German artist Henrik Schwarz, multi instrumentalist troupe Brandt Brauer Frick and the always excellent Onra. If you are unfamiliar with Banks work, this sampler is a great introduction with his opener "Be The One" a potent synth fest that is worthy of Moderat. The tempo switches up in fine style for Onra's slack jawed future boogie fest "Blast" whilst the flip sees Schwarz indulge his poppier tendencies with "We Are Bankrupt" and Brandt Brauer Frick team up with Vic Mensa & Om'mas Keith for the excellent "Jungle Love".

Review: House of Chez is the new label from the legendary American deep house pioneer Chez Damier. It follows involvement with the seminal Prescription with Ron Trent in the 90s, then his own Balance, and finds him once again serving up super fresh grooves. He appears himself on 'Together' with his French studio partner as H2H and also Damian Rausch and the tune is pure and steamy house deepness. Elsewhere Emanuele Barilli gets dreamy with 'Unconscious Relief', there is a soulful vocal to the dry beats of Mosis's 'Pick It Up' and Oscide's 'No Use' is a little more prickly and direct.

Review: Chez Damier and Ben Vedren's H2H project recovers from its intense Villalobos session last year with a brand new original and two exceptional remixes from Detroit OG Thomas Barnett. "Les Perdre" (which apparently is still in demo phase but sounds great to us) creates a superb spring effect in the groove with clever reverse textures before suddenly dropping into organ heaven mid way. Elsewhere we find Barnett adding a little warm analog spring to proceedings himself as he gives "Berlin Nights In Paris" and (fittingly) "Made In Detroit" his own titanium jack and subtle tendrils of acid.

Review: Four very different interpretations of house music prevail on Power. First up is Geffen, whose dubby, staccato drums, bursts of percussive noise and ominous bass provide the backdrop for a series of frequency-shifting tonal blips. Danny F opts for a different path on "Chalole Batata", where a pulsing bassline and heavy drums steer the arrangement into an ethnic chanting break down. Christian S's contribution is tracky and designed specifically for DJs; centring on rolling, insistent drums and mangled filters, its crashing cymbals enhance its impetus. Finally, the trio of Philipp Gorbachev, Hugo Capablanca and La Muerte deliver the deranged vocals and noisy voodoo groove of "Berlan Esta Helado" - which sounds like vintage Chicken Lips on acid.

Review: Proper euphoric tune-tutelage from the Ajaccio label Digital Finesse, a good name for the label for sure. Run by Jimmy Batt, Digital Finesse's M.O. encompasses curt EPs as well as multitrack V/As, polished and readied for maximum credo. 'I Bastardi Aiaccini' is one of the latter, a six-track compendium fleshing the best one-offs from their personal roster, all while accelerating and hyper-modernising the classic electro and Italo sounds native to the Mediterranean. Beginning with the crisp, hyperactive, arpeggio-heavy metrosexual fascinator 'Electromotion', we then move into the comparatively gradated boxer 'Concorde' by Human Aventura, before rounding off the A on a note of bursting acid innovation, the instrumental version of Pasqua Pancrazi's 'Danesi'. The B opens on a note of sleaze-funk with the speedy 'Sein Cirque Les Poppies' from Blinkduus Dischetto, before going full-throttle dystopi-speed by way of a minimal but no less driven flat-beat cutup from Monica Venturella, 'Page Not Found'. Orso's 'Bastardo' flaunts the more experimental ends of the label's capacity, with 'Bastardo' hearing motifs of IT-hardcore get plunged into more-than-smokey scourings of Reese and sizzle.

They've done the same for their second offering, only giving Bendy & Hristo and Free Association a side of real estate each. Combine elements of New York disco with new wave, no wave, minimal wave, whatever wave, and Bendy & Hristo's own edit to their track "Love Contest" has all the makings of a swooning floor filler. Review: 'OHM Series #11' presents a vibrant mix of techno with contributions from four talented producers, adding depth to the ongoing series. On Side-1, Christine Benz's 'Sunset' opens with warm, enveloping chords, creating a serene atmosphere that feels like a sunset on a tropical island. Side-2 kicks off with Hidden Sequence's 'Dub Cycle', a darker, more ominous track, weaving catchy dub techno rhythms that pull you in. The second installment is no slouch either, featuring a new cast of crooked creators offering up their wares for the modern mutant dancefloor. BFTT has a weighty low end thrum powering "Public/Private", while Lack takes things in a scuffed and nimble direction. Chekov pushes out into more experimental pastures with the broken beats and displaced sound design of "Celeste" and Howes creates a wonderful strain of mystical deep house for darkened souls. Each one of these tracks is loaded with flair and personality, yards ahead of your average generic knock offs and presenting something with real merit to the convoluted world of dance music.

Review: By their standards, 2014 has been a relatively quiet year for Belfast boys Bicep, with a remix 12" and the Circles EP on Aus Music their only releases of note. "Lyk Lyk" is, then, a welcome return to action. The title track is particularly sweaty and once again mines vintage rave influences, with fluid synths and cut-up vocals riding a classic late '80s/early '90s breakbeat groove. "Poly Pineapple" is a little deeper, with waves of wide-eyed synths crashing over a thumping house groove. On the flipside, the duo join forces with partner-in-blogging Hammer for a couple of cuts; the woozy, glacial, synth-heavy "Icebowl" and "Day 3", a stomping chunk of retro-futurist techno smothered in 808 State style synths. Balearic techno anyone?
