  2. D-Nox & Beckers - "Skylab" (8:34)
  3. Danny Howells - "Shortwave" (8:01)
  4. Adam Ten & Mita Gami - "Face The Sky" (feat Diamond Thug) (6:25)
Review: Dave Seaman's Selador Recordings returns with a much anticipated vinyl release in the form of Magic Black Plastic Vol 1, featuring a selection of esteemed producers from the progressive house scene. On the A side, Russian producers Goom Gum & Gaidukova make their vinyl debut with the ultra deep mood music of 'Freedom', followed by veteran German duo D-Nox & Beckers with the slinky and hypnotic euphoria of 'Skylab'. Over on the flip, the legendary Danny Howells appears with the glassy-eyed and bittersweet 'Shortwave' and the EP ends with some serious dancefloor drama courtesy of Adam Ten & Mita Gamion on 'Face The Sky' featuring gripping vocals by the band Diamond Thug.

Magic Black Plastic Vol 3

  2. Luke Brancaccio & Gai Barone - "J'aime L'amour" (7:27)
  3. Carlos Barbero & Dom Fricot - "Closer To Closure" (Andre Lodemann remix) (7:25)
  4. Adam Ten & Dor Danino - "Zurnita" (6:35)
Review: Founded by Dave Seaman & Steve Parry, Selador Recordings showcases the best house and techno, plus all the flavours in-between. The third installment in its Magic Black Plastic series best exemplifies this, with contributions from some of the scene's top names. Viennese veteran Joyce Muniz kicks things off with her mesmerising rework of Just Her & Kieran Fowkes 'On The Low', followed by Luke Brancaccio & Gai Barone's entrancing and uplifting house journey 'J'aime L'amour'. Over on the flip, German veteran Andre Lodemann takes things into deeper territory on his remix of Carlos Barbero & Dom Fricot's vocal number 'Closer To Closure' and finally Adam Ten & Dor Danino get deep, dark and dirty on the sweltering 'Zurnita'.

Magic Black Plastic Vol 2
  1. Steve Parry - "What You Make It" (Renato Cohen mix) (7:53)
  2. Dave Seaman - "Racket Abuse" (Charles Webster mix) (6:28)
  3. Anthony Pappa & Jamie Stevens - "Here We Go" (7:56)
  4. Squire - "True Religion" (Hannes Bieger remix) (6:25)
Review: Back in November 2021, Dave Seaman and Steve Parry's Selador Recordings imprint launched a new series, Magic Black Plastic, as a vehicle to put out classic catalogue cuts on vinyl for the very first time. This second volume naturally follows the same blueprint, offering a quartet of much-played gems from the imprint's vast archive of releases. To kick things off, there's a chance to savour Renato Cohen's weighty, acid-sporting, trance-influenced, rave-igniting rework of Steve Parry's 'What You Make It', before Seaman offers up Charles Webster's punchy, electro-not-electro remix of his own 'Racket Abuse'. Over on the flip you'll find the sturdy, driving and intoxicating peak-time trip that is Antony Pappa and Jamie Stevens' 'Here We Go', as well as a more melodious, 21st century progressive house re-wire of Squire's 'True Religion' courtesy of Hannes Bieger.
