Last seen on Powell's Diagonal label with an excellent self-titled EP, Texan musician Craig Clouse makes a swift follow up under the Shit & Shine moniker on Gangsigns. We're not entirely sure what's going on in the cover for Find Out What Happens When People Start Being Polite For A Fucking Change, but the music inside sees Clouse engage more chunky dance music of an avant-garde persuasion. The guitar lick from "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" is subjected to some serious delay abuse on "Panther", while some distorted lo-fi hip hop style beats send things in a crunk direction on "Stop Being Sexual". Some proto EBM rhythms reminiscent of Powell's recent material make up "Darth Vader Flavor", while "Corvette" and Public Display Of Pussy Whipped" bend pop forms into something altogether grimier.
