The Bad Comrade is a powerful glitch, delay, and chaotic distortion tool, packed in a tiny 4hp module. The Bleeding Hearts is a device that starves, bit crushes, splatters, and filters audio sources like no other. Feeding a gate signal to the Bleeding Hearts enables a whole new world of strange and random analog-generated movement. Each position of the 8-step sequencer can bleed into each other and interact with the destruction effect, creating gated and filtered splatters, glitches, and crunches that move to the beat of your patch.

The Sound Destruction Device is a variable resistor distortion with a twin T-notch filter that distorts, glitches, clips, and filters sound into unearthly shapes. Notes: MMF is an analogue, multimode filter with a 12dB per octave slope. Its sonic character swings all the way from classic low pass to squelchy acid lines. Simultaneous outputs of low pass, high pass, and band pass filter types are provided allowing for many variations of the input signal. Whether you're looking for smooth and creamy, or resonant and wild, MMF can go there.

Notes: Play is a high-fidelity sample player with a full feature set.

Up to 32 samples can be loaded at a time and dynamically switched between using the file knob and associated CV input. Playback modes include one-shot, looping, or gated playback; all with extremely low latency. Transform your samples by pitching them up two octaves or down three octaves, all with a pitch knob that can be free running or quantized to semitones. The pitch CV input tracks volt per octave across its entire range and allows for musical sequencing of samples. Play ships with a pre-loaded SD card packed with loops, drum hits, and field recordings to get you up and running immediately.

Notes: Vowel is a speech synthesis and formant oscillator. It synthesizes and approximates the human voice by generating vowel sounds. These can be manipulated to provide deep low baritones, or high pitched squeaks. Two unique algorithms provide separate takes on this exciting synthesis method and allow for a multitude of talking synth sounds.

Notes: Div is a 2 channel, voltage controlled clock divider and multiplier. Incoming clock signals can be multiplied or divided by a factor of 16 with a multitude of values in between.

CV inputs provide external control of the current clock rate, allowing for the creation of dynamic rhythms from a single clock signal.

Notes: Mult is a 2 input, 6 output signal splitter. Channel 1 is normalled to channel 2 when no cable is present, allowing the user to split an input signal six ways, or two input signals with three outputs each.

Notes: Great for generating random voltages from white noise, arpeggios from sawtooth waves, and downsampling audio signals.

Notes: Trim is a 2 channel passive attenuator. It features two individual channels of attenuation.

Notes: ADSR is a four stage linear envelope with two expressive ranges. Each stage can be modified independently allowing for the creation of complex, multi-segment envelopes. Great for modulating filters, VCAs, and oscillators.

Notes: Emulate the nostalgic sounds of old audio equipment with the 2hp Lo-Fi. Finding inspiration in quirks and happy accidents found in audio devices of the past, Lo-Fi can take any sound and give it the magic of tasteful degradation.
Lo-Fi carries two degradation modes: Analog and Digital. In the analogue mode, control the amount of wow and flutter for anything from subtle to dynamic pitch fluctuations, tickle the sonic spectrum with ASMR hiss and crackles, and warm up the coldest sounds with tape compression and saturation. In digital mode, dial in BitCrush amount, sample-rate reduction, and the wildest distortion in 2hp to cover your sound in digital crunch, or emulate blown out speakers.

Notes: Tune is a multi-scale pitch quantizer. It features 11 scales ranging from chromatic to octatonic with everything in between. In addition, the bias control allows the user to transpose the melody to a different octave or starting note.

This functionality opens up every musical mode for each of its 11 scales and provides a performable control for transforming melodies on the fly.

Notes: Capture the iconic sound of tape sliding to a halt with Tape Stop, a clock syncable tape stop module that puts this classic effect at your fingertips. Originally an accidental artifact of analog tape, this effect has become a beloved tool in music genres from hip-hop to IDM. Now, it's fully controllable in your modular system.

Adjust the Lag to set the stop length, then tap Trig to activate. Hit it again to resume your audio seamlessly. With clock sync, your stops and starts stay perfectly in time, and a toggle lets you switch between momentary and latching Trig modes. Add a touch of tape magic to your modular system with Tape Stop!

Notes: Swarm is a hyper-oscillator capable of an array of patch-filling sounds. Create super-saws, tonal noise hurricanes, and thick bass and lead lines.

Swarm is comprised of a large set of oscillators (up to 88 voices!). Control the number of available oscillators with the Voices control, and dial in the desired amount of pitch variance across the voices with detune. Take Swarm's oscillators from a rich thickening of sound to atonal chaos in the turn of a knob! Swarm also provides macro pitch control with the Freq knob, which also tracks 1v/oct through its CV input. A waveform toggle is also available for switching between sawtooth and pulse waveforms, expanding the timbral palette Swarm offers! Notes: Hat is a hi-hat cymbal with a wild side. Finding something unique is easy with a blend of sounds ranging from robotic to metallic. At its core are three unique sound sources made up of six oscillators, a noise generator, and a number of filters. Sizzle affects each source independently, adjusting oscillator and filter frequencies, allowing for a broad range of sounds. In addition, separate trigger inputs for open and closed allow for a complete hi-hat pattern on a single module. No matter what situation it's in, Hat provides shimmering, metallic timbres for any percussive purpose.

Notes: Arp is a gate-driven arpeggiator with a multitude of chord types and playback modes. Voltage control over both root note and chord type allow for sequencing any combination of chords in any key imaginable.

Notes: The 2hp VCA is a dual, linear VCA. It uses the renowned 2164 SSM architecture, giving it extremely low distortion and high quality audio outputs. With a CV input attenuator, and DC-coupled inputs this is your new go-to module for voltage controlled amplification of audio or CV.

Notes: The 2hp Buff is a buffered multiple capable of splitting an input signal to multiple outputs. Due to its active architecture, inputs retain their full integrity as they are copied to multiple destinations. One input signal can be copied to six outputs, or two inputs can be copied to three outputs each. The Buff is especially great for splitting pitch or audio signals where signal integrity is critical. Keep your signals in shape with Buff.

Notes: Easily connect your modular system to the rest of your setup with Out, a compact 2HP stereo line output and headphone module. Despite its small size, it includes everything you need for clear, convenient listening.

The top section features stereo modular-level inputs with LED indicators for quick level monitoring. From there, the signal is routed to both a stereo line output and a dedicated headphone jack, each with independent volume control. Notes: Mult is a 2 input, 6 output signal splitter. Channel 1 is normalled to channel 2 when no cable is present, allowing the user to split an input signal six ways, or two input signals with three outputs each.

The Row Power 45 is compatible with the 4ms Row Power Shield. This device (sold separately) attaches to the back of the Row Power 45 and monitors the amount of current being drawn, as well as the voltages of the power rails. Notes: The Spherical Wavetable Navigator (SWN) is a six-channel synthesiser that makes it easy to create slowly morphing drones, polyphonic melodies, evolving sequences, and rich textures.

The SWN features six wavetable oscillators with independent pitch, level, and waveform controls. Six LFOs (Low Frequency Oscillators) can be used as modulation sources and/or envelopes, making it easy to add dynamic motion to your patch. Each channel is a full voice and can be "played" using the top row of buttons, the internal LFOs, or note-change detection on the 1V/oct jacks. The SWN ships with 12 three-dimensional (spherical) wavetables and an easy interface which allows you to record and edit custom wavetables from live audio. Open-source software for Mac, Windows, and Linux called SphereEdit can be freely downloaded and allows you computer to create, edit, and convert .wav files into Spherical wavetables to transfer into the SWN with an audio cable.

Notes: The SCM Plus is a clock multiplier with eight gate outputs and complex beat manipulation features. It combines the classic Shuffling Clock Multiplier (SCM) and SCM Breakout (SCMBO) into a single module using higher precision hardware than its predecessors.

Notes: The Stereo Triggered Sampler can record high quality stereo files, while simultaneously playing two different stereo files. A maximum of 600 samples can be loaded from the removable/swappable microSD card, in a variety of formats up to 96kHz/32-bit/stereo WAV. All sample parameters (1V/oct pitch, sample file selection, length, and start position) are CV controllable.

600 Samples:
A maximum of 600 samples can be loaded at once, arranged into banks of 10 samples each. Samples and banks can be re-arranged on the fly using the simple on-board Edit features. Newly recorded samples can be instantly played back and re-pitched, reversed, chopped up, etc... the result of which can even be bounced down and re-recorded to as a new sample! Sample files are limited to 4GB each, which is over 6 hours at 44k/16b/stereo.

Two Stereo Playback Channels:
Each playback channel has a knob and CV jack for Sample File selection, as well as a Start Position knob and CV jack for controlling where in the sample playback will begin. The Length knob and CV jack determine how much of the sample is played back: from tiny grains, to percussive hits, to longer loops... or just the entire file. These are powerful tools for re-arranging a sample, joining multiple samples, and creating dynamically re-sized loops within a larger sample. Combined with the Play Trigger jack and the 1V/oct jack, the STS can be two complete multi-timbral pitch-tracked stereo voices!
There's also a Reverse button and jack for backwards playback, and an End Out jack for synchronizing loops, or cascading sample playback with other events.

Looping and Sync:
Looping is easy: just hold the PLAY button down for two seconds to toggle loop or one-shot. The loop timing clock will output from the End Out jack. Or, send a clock into the Play Trig jack to sync the loop to external timing.

Stereo Recording:
Whether you patched 47 modules to create the ultimate percussive blast, or you want to capture your four hour ambient performance, recording high-quality .wav files on the STS is simple. Just hit the REC button or fire a trigger and a new stereo .wav file will be created on the SD card. Do as many takes as you need: the STS never deletes your files. Re-ordering or re-arranging samples into banks is easy, even without a computer.
You can even fill a bank with 10 different variations and immediately use them for playback.
By default the STS records at 44.1kHz/16-bit, with an option for 24-bit (a future update may increase the sample rate to 96kHz)

Easy sample loading:
Using a computer is completely optional with the STS, since samples can be recorded directly to the module and placed into the bank of your choosing. But for users with large existing sample banks, the intuitive automatic bank loading features make dragging and dropping your entire sample library a snap. You never have to rename your files again!

Notes: The Listen Four is a four channel stereo mixer with line, modular, and headphone outputs. Two mono channels with Pan knobs and two stereo channels with dual inputs provide optimal compatibility with both stereo and mono signals. The Listen Four can be daisy-chained to other Listen modules to create a larger mixer with sub-mix outputs.

Notes: The Listen Four Quarters is a four channel stereo mixer with 1/4" (6.35mm) TRS balanced outputs and 1/8" (3.5mm) headphones output. Two mono channels with Pan knobs and two stereo channels with dual inputs provide optimal compatibility with both stereo and mono signals. The Listen Four Quarters can be daisy-chained to other Listen modules to create a larger mixer with sub-mix outputs.

Notes: The Listen IO is a simple module which gets signals in and out of a Eurorack system by converting to and from normal modular levels. The top section converts any external signal to modular levels by providing up to 30x gain (+30dB), allowing you to use table-top synthesizers, keyboards, phones/tablets, computers, toys, microphones, etc. in your patches. The bottom section does the opposite: modular signals are converted to normal line level signals. The bottom two jacks can be used as line outs or as headphone jacks, so you and a friend can listen in stereo at the same time.

Each section has two inputs and outputs for use with a stereo signal or two mono signals. An LED bar graph for each output shows the signal level and clipping.

By quantizing the oscillators to scales or series of harmonics, the Ensemble Oscillator allows you to explore the sonic boundary between musical chords and rich evolving textures. Notes: The Spectral Multiband Resonator from 4ms Company is an innovative resonant filter which can process audio like a classic filter bank, ring like a marimba when plucked/struck, vocode, re-mix tracks, harmonize, output spectral data, quantize audio to scales, and much more...
A gorgeous ring of colored lights displays the frequency of each filter, as well as the levels and current scale selection(s).

At a glance, the SMR works like a normal six-band graphic EQ: six frequency band-pass filters are mixed together using sliders. Resonance/Q is variable, which changes the "ringy-ness" or width of the bands.

But here's where comparison stops. The frequency of each channel is treated like a note in a scale, and the six bands form a chord. Spin the Rotate knob and the "notes" circle around the scale, rotating back to the bottom once they've reached the top. Adjust Spread and the distance (interval) between each note changes. Triggers for up/down motion, CV inputs for sequencing and scale selection allow for flexible control with external modules. Morph, which automatically cross-fades between frequencies, together with variable Slew allows rhythmic clocks drive the SMR as a variable-speed evolving resonant filter.

At maximum Resonance/Q, the SMR can be struck like a gong or marimba by inputting clocks or triggers. The frequency of each channel is quantized to a scale: beautiful chords, ethereal tones and eerie ambiance flows easily. With lower resonance, the SMR can pull out particular frequency bands, and sweep these across the spectrum.

Two 1V/octave Frequency jacks allow for tracking even and/or odd bands and creating floating melodies over evolving chord bases, or complex percussive membrane sounds.

Save your settings into one of six storage banks, and recall on the fly. On startup, the SMR instantly jumps to the last saved settings. The color scheme of the lights can be adjusted, so if you prefer all white lights on your modular, you can have that (or all red, or rainbows, pastels, etc..)!

Advanced features:
- Program your own scale. The frequency of each of the 20 notes can be assigned by setting the octave, the semi-tone, and coarse and fine micro-tone. Up to 11 scales can be saved permanently in the user bank
- Adjust color scheme of the LEDs. Pick a pre-programmed color scheme or create your own using the sliders to set Red/Green/Blue values. Custom color schemes can be saved permanently
- Save your settings in one of six parameter banks. Note position, scale and bank selection, Q value, Lock settings and color scheme can be saved and recalled on the fly. On startup, the SMR loads settings from the last saved bank.
- Optional alternative filter type for a more exponential decay when plucked and different timbral qualities. Freq jacks no longer track 1V/oct in this mode.
- Slider LEDs can be assigned to display level for each channel (combination of slider position and CV on the jack), or clipping for each channel.

Notes: The Dual EnvVCA is a two-channel analogue linear envelope generator with two fully independent low-noise exponential VCAs. With time ranges from 30 minutes to 8kHz, it can be used as an LFO, slew limiter, ASR/ADSR complex EG, audio-rate oscillator, stereo audio/CV VCA, envelope follower, sidechain processor, and general utility module. The outputs can be attenuated, inverted, and offset without disrupting the VCA, making it a versatile modulation source.
