Review: Stonking hard trance via progressive house three-track EP from Belgian duo Joyhauser, who come to Terminal M with a surefire take on uplifting dance. 'Lamana', 'Vesperi' and 'Lysergic Acid' is sure to easily flagrate dancefloors with their slow-teasing drops and breathtaken breakdowns, interspersed with thematic commentary on psychedelic drug use on the final track. Strap in; with this one, it's difficult to tell if we'll be spinning a 12" record or a NASA centrifuge.

Review: Belgian duo Joyhauser come to Monika Kruse's Terminal M with an appropriately massive slab of big room techno energy. This is Joris Cielene and Stijn Vanspauwen's fifth drop for the label since they broke through in 2018, and it speaks to their deepening skill at working a sound for the largest crowds. 'Crawler' nods to the trance wave with its driving arpeggios, of course kept simmering to keep things moody for the techno crowd. 'Love Servant' goes in hard on a chunky kick drum, but there are still some playful synth licks dropped into the mix, while 'Polymoon' delivers something a little trippier and more atmospheric for a true 'mid-set moment'.

Review: German label Terminal M's place in the techno world has long been established - it deals in fresh sounds for big rooms with hints of minimal. Mark Reeve now adds his work into the mix with this bold and inescapable two tracker. 'Golden' is a wave of techno with textural synth loops spraying about the mix like an untethered hose while chunky drums rattle the walls. 'All We Have' then gets even more extroverted and maximal with tortured synth stabs, big brain frying leads and more dark, all-consuming drums.

'I Will Show You', meanwhile, sounds to celebrate the dirtier work gone into upholding just causes, with the A-side's gumption-packed tenor assuring us of our survival in the face of moral grey areas and means-to-ends: "don't be afraid, you're safe with me..." .
