It feels like a long time since Steffi was one of Berlin's most hyped names with her residency at P Bar, but in the years since the quality of her sounds have not diminished. This EP comes on her own Doll label with Roster and taps into her signature sophisticated deepness. Her drums are hard and fast but full of warmth and heart, as 'Bring The Beat' proves and then some. 'Minor Slider' rides on similarly swift, soulful layers of drums and bass and synth and 'Big Rooms' comes with a healthy dub undercurrent and deep techno pulse. 'Memory Zero' closes with some nice kick patterns and surging synth rushes that will lead to closed eyes and raised hands.
