Adrian Sandoval aka Developer has truly nurtured his Modularz imprint into one of THE homes for contemporary American techno. His Dead Architect Series returns with three outside artists, all of them perfectly capable of blasting out a succession of kicks and snares which'll club you over the head before you can say "Berghain"! Rhomb is all icy and sparse on "System Co1d", and "Illuminace" by Datura Dilema growls its way across bleeps and clicks. On the flip, Christian Wunsch delivers to hard-hitting techno cuts, both of them expertly stripped back and compressed for Funktion One use. All is in order.
