Symbol #6 vinyl

ASC calls on the supreme talents of Bvdub for the sixth edition of the Experimental no-holds-barred Auxiliary Symbols series, with Brock van Wey electing to showcase a new project in the form of East Of Oceans. Naturally there's plenty of the emotional depth and rich textures at play on both tracks here, and "Symbol #6.1" is rightfully called a "game changer" by the label, delving deep into an expansive sound that contains several twists before the runout groove appears. It's complemented by the tough breakbeats and vast swathes of orchestral chords that permeate "Symbol #6.2" with a certain added urgency provided by the angelic but not quite decipherable vocals that swing in the sonic mist beneath.
