Astral Solar (5:07)
Edge Of Galaxy (Bad Booy Lenght V.IIbe PTX) (6:53)
Planetary Exploration (4:31)
Planetary Exploration (SVN Planetary remixes) (10:12)
Review: Who doesn't love tucking into a great big and juicy Fett Burger? The charismatic sonic sorcerer is back with a fresh new EP featuring a trio of brand new and very different originals. There is cosmic house wonk on 'Astral Solar', stripped back Omar-S style deep house on 'Planetary Exploration' and then an ever deeper, slower, more zoned out SVN Planetary remix. Last of all is the Bad Booy Lenght V.IIbe PTX mix of the caustic house jacker 'Edge Of Galaxy.'

Comet Dust (PST Local party live version) (6:32)
Review: DJ Fett Burger returns on Sex Tags UFO with with the growling junkyard beats of 'Galaxy Of Synthesis'. Speaking of which, DJ DOG provides a remix which is more straight ahead and optimised for the dancefloor, while retaining the strong acid and Motor City motifs of the original. Speaking of the latter, the Detroit influence remains strong on B side cut 'Comet Dust' which is definitely on the high tech and soulful tip, followed by a hypnotic and utterly uplifting live mix version by Gothenburg's Porn Sword Tobacco.

Review: Norwegian groove wizard, Sex Tags UFO boss, occasionally known as DJ Dog; Fett Burger comes correct with his most personal and explorative release to date. Thank U 4 Letting Me Live My Life sees the experimental house producer celebrate some of his deepest inspirations across this nine track album. Inspirations such as sinewy, ever-morphing acid (the incredible 13min opener 'This Game The World') sprightly, feel-heavy trance (the cathedral shimmers of 'XTC TWYHTS'), bubblesome good-time disco (the subaquatic finale 'Disco Fem') and classic foundational rave aesthetics (the hurricane synths on 'Atmospheree 2 Emo-tion') Each cut laced with his signature off-grid percussion and that loose natural rhythm, it's one of Fett Burgers juiciest dishes to date. Now Burger off and enjoy your lives!

Track One (fast Slow West Coast mix) (9:48)
Dypfryst Pizza (8:30)
Tortugas Tem (5:41)
Review: Given the prolific nature of Norway's Fett brothers, keeping up with their release schedule is almost a full-time job. That almost all of their various projects are worth saying goes without saying, but there's something extra-special about this rare solo outing from the fast-food loving Fett Burger. A-side "Track One (Fast Slow West Coast Mix)" is particularly enjoyable, flipping as it does between horizontal, sofa-surfing jazz and springy, up-tempo, all-analogue jazz house positivity. That said, dreamy deep house shuffler "Dypfryst Pizza" is equally as endearing in its own way, whilst closer "Tortugas Tem" peppers an undulating analogue bassline with all manner of weird noises, samples and effects. You can tell that he was a fan of the Orb while growing up.

Edging On The Street (5:42)
411 Esperanza (6:58)
411 Esperanza (Sunshine mix) (5:06)
Review: Sex Tags' UFO offshoot has been rather quiet of late. In fact, this 12" from co-founder DJ Fett Burger is the sub-label's first release since 2014. As usual, the Norwegian eccentric has delivered a set of skewed, off-kilter tracks that defy easy categorization. Opener "PUB18", for example, sits somewhere between low slung, Idjut Boys style dub disco and glassy-eyed dream house, while "Edging On The Streets" is a dreamy, old school breakbeat workout that could have been made way back in 1989. Flip for the humid, head-in-the-clouds, analogue-rich deep house bump of "Esperanza 411" and "Sunshine", a spacey, bongo-laden revision of the same track designed for hazy sunrises and sticky Adriatic sunsets.

Burger Trip (original) (8:59)
Burger Trip (Meme) (12:51)
Review: Mongo Fett is the newest addition to the sprawling Sex Tags family of labels, first surfacing with the spaced out boogie of DJ Fett Burger's Pogo 12" in February last year. It's tempting to suggest Mongo Fett is a dedicated platform for Fett Burger material, given the name, but its also never a good idea to entertain any assumptions when it comes to Sex Tags related business. Anyway.... This second Mongo Fett release finds DJ Fett Burger at the controls once more (with a bit of help from Telephones and Jonny Rock) and offers a pair of humid percussion workouts that will delight the more limber dancers out there. The B-side "Burger Trip (Meme)" swings it for us, pulling the track on an imaginary journey through a tropical forest.

Para Siempre (feat Florencia - Elements Of Trance) (5:42)
Para Siempre (Italo Balearic instrumental mix) (7:31)
Review: Fett Burger and Cato Canari, a Norwegian DJ and producer based in Tokyo, have teamed up to brilliantly Balearic effect here on this new outing on the cult Sex Tags UFO label. They offer up three different versions of 'Para Siempre' that are all suited to sunset sessions on the beach. The tune features Florencia and first comes as an Italo Balearic vocal mix which is doused in lush synths and has steady bass rumbles below the rich chords. The Elements Of Trance mix is perfect for when things head indoors to the club with its weighty low-end thud then the most trippy and loved-up version comes at the end.

DJ Fett Burger - "Track 1" (3:47)
DJ Sotofett - "Track 2" (3:31)
Review: This latest 7" from Sex Tags Mania offshoot Amfibia is something of a family affair. It was conceived and produced to celebrate the Fett brothers' recent tour of Japan, and contains a track each from the Norwegian eccentrics. As usual, it's hard to pin down exactly what they're up to - they do have a tendency to gleefully switch between styles at will - but both tracks are superb. DJ Fett Burger's A-side contribution puts oven-warm deep house motifs and laidback jazz breaks through a dub filter, resulting in something hazy, tropical and seriously saucer-eyed. In contrast, Sotofett's flipside excursion sticks closer to the dub script, effortlessly fusing an off-kilter, bass-heavy rhythm and ricocheting percussion hits with crystalline synthesizer melodies.

Harpo (Speckgurtel RMX - Stereo Out) (5:43)
Sonnenambiente (Speckgurtel Drumapella Stereo Out) (5:40)
Review: Clone is one of the oldest active labels in the game, and DJ Fett Burger has been the most singular soundsmiths in the scene for seemingly as long. This coming together of two giants is another successful one with the Sex Tags co-founder flipping Red Scorpions' "Enjoy This Limousine" into a dubbed out techno roller with jittery snares riding on bleeping electronics. Speckgurtel then tackles "Harpo" with an old school rave energy that is muted yet euphoric, before rounding off with his Drumapella version of "Sonnenambiente", which makes an effective early evening house tool.

Review: Having previously collaborated on tasty 2013 single "Speckbass", partners in audio insanity DJ Fett Burger and DJ Speckgurtel have united for a full-length excursion full of "dance music for clubs and pubs and some easy-going jams to jazz the sheets". In practice, that means a saucer-eyed mixture of retro-futurist house treats (see jaunty opener "Harpo" and the Italo-house giddiness of "6Drops (Piano Mix)", loved-up deep electro (the spacey warmth of "Red Scorpions"), unashamed Larry Heard tributes ("Sunshine In The Limousine"), densely percussive peak-time workouts ("Enjoy This Limousine"), ragged acid ("6Drops (Technocid Mix)"), rushing Balearic synth-pop ("Sting Collins") and chiming, early '90s style ambient house (the beat free lusciousness of "Sonnen Ambiente").

Deepspeck
Review: **Repress** Cheeky end of year bomb from the Sex Tags clan that might just be one of the best house records issued this year. Issued on Sex Tags UFO, the delightfully named Speckbass sees ST Mania founder DJ Fett Burger teaming up with the unheralded DJ Speckgurtel for a 12" that seem to consolidate the myriad of influences that make up the Sex Tags Empire into just two records. Lead track "Speckbass" seems initially straightforward, but beneath that ramshackle drum backbone all manner of sampled and recycled sonic chaos unfolds in a manner that is just brilliant. "Deepspeck" is just as good, seemingly cramming all manner of deep house signifiers into the mix and slamming you in the gut with those emotion packed chords.

NYC Party Track (6:21)
Wind Waker (club house mix) (5:17)
Wind Waker (ambience) (4:49)
Review: There was something rather impressive - if slightly predictable - about the new age-meets-tropical deep house vibe of "Velvet Vortex", DJ Fett Burger and Jayda G's first hook-up on Australia's Butter Sessions. There are hints of the same style on this second collaboration between the Sex Tags maniac and the Vancouver producer, with both versions of "Wind Waker" - club and ambient - delivering warm, dreamy chords, eyes-closed melodies and humid textures. The real killer, though, is A-side "NYC Party Track", a deliciously leftfield disco-house roller full of short funk guitar licks, low-slung electric bass, pitched down rave stabs and relentless, cowbell-driven percussion. In other words, it's a killer party jam.

Sleep D - "Velvet Vortex" (Rainforest version) (6:23)
Sleep D - "Velvet Vortex" (Bud dub) (4:59)
Review: The latest 12" from Australia's fast-rising Butter Sessions imprint is a truly pan-global affair, featuring Vancouver producer Jayda G, globetrotting Sex Tags man DJ Fett Burger, and Melbourne-based label bosses Sleep D on the remix. In many ways, the opening "Steel D Flanger Mix" delivers what you'd expect to hear, with synthesized panpipes and a bustling bassline riding an endless wave of dense, tropical house percussion. Sleep D go smoother and more starry on their decidedly intergalactic - and oh-so alluring - Rainforest Version, before rounding off proceedings with a typically Sex Tags-like chunk of ultra-deep, ultra-sparse dub house. Given the talent involved, it's no surprise that Velvet Vortex is ace.

Kahuun - "Batteri" (8:45)
DJ Fett Burger & DJ Grillo Wiener - "Strom" (8:15)
Review: Back to 2001 as Norwegian samplecrafter Kahuun casts a spell that's just as strong today as it was when Fett Burger reissued it in 2011 on Sex Tags. Light, breezy and jazzy with a powerful and subversively placed vocal sample, there's a reason why the OG presses and repress have been in demand among collectors. This reissue comes complete with a brand new jam from Fett Burger and Grillo Weiner. Loose, rattling and top-loaded with a paranoid warp lead line, it's another Sex Tag serenade strictly for the most wee of hours.

SJ Tequilla - "House" (5:58)
Review: Japanese DJ in Berlin SJ Tequilla returns to his recently launched Shot Of T imprint with a feisty four piece between friends. Taking the lead on the A, SJT lays down two dense technoid jams. "Drift" rattles with ricochet percussion and harmonics over ebb and flow synths while "House" strips us right back to the bare elements and a little cosmic disco flurry or two. Flip for some hardcore Fett action as the Trushmix supremo rebuilds the whole planet with dizzying acid textures and life affirming chords on "Planet Earth Part 1" before donning his Dog guise for a jauntier take on classic acidic action. Bottoms up!

DJ Fett Burger & Telephones - "252 Lakes In Asia" (Acido Liquid mix) (7:16)
PG Sounds - "Power" (feat Paleo) (5:35)
Review: Back in September 2014, Acido Records dropped My House Is Not Your House, a multi-artist collection of eccentric, off-kilter tracks that defied easy categorization. This belated follow-up delivers six more quirky cuts, with a string of musical mavericks contributing cuts. There's naturally much to admire, from the hazy chords and deep space bongo hits of Dresvn's "Dims", and the dub-wise runnings of DJ Sotofett's fine "Jealous Dub", to the intoxicated, Middle Eastern market-goes-acid eccentricity of DJ Fett Burger and Telephones' "252 Lakes In Asia (Acido Liquid Mix)". Elsewhere, look out for a delightfully emotion-rich ambient cut from SW., and the trippy, early '90s chill out room quirkiness of PG Sounds closer "Power", which is built around the immediately recognisable meandering tones of Paleo.
