8Kays & Juan Hansen - "Falling Down" (Chris Avantgarde remix) (6:52)
8Kays - "Lyra" (5:23)
Review: Watergate, the cult Berlin club known for its riverside location and legendary LED ceiling above the dancefloor, is also a reputable tech house label that deals in fresh names only. Here it is 8Kays that makes a debut with Falling Down, a selection of superb collaborations including 'Matematica' with Glowal which is tense and electric tech with indie vocals and with Juan Hansen he cooks up the medically hopeful 'Falling Down' which then gets two remixes. Colyn & Beswerda make it into a moody and deep groove, Chris Avantgarde brings some peak time prog energy and solo cut 'Lyra' has a warm, paddy broken beat to cruise on through the stars.

A Sagittariun - "Proof" (7:11)

Sean Dixon - "Our Love For Music" (5:57)
Review: The Innate label made a sizable impact with its first release - a killer various artists 12" with Mark Hand, Lerosa and others. Now it returns with another balanced mix of established and emergent artists, leading in with a stunning A side cut from A Sagittariun delivering what might be his most beautiful production to date - a swooning, snaking slice of melodious techno that brims with emotion and canny programming. After turning heads on the first Innate release, Gilbert returns with "Polynoid," a punchy, Lately bass-powered workout with lashings of Motor City soul heaped on top. Sean Dixon completes the package with "Our Love For Music," a pointed machine mantra that maintains the classic techno tone Innate is shaping up as its MO.

Acid Arab - "Zahr"
Gilbr Beesan Rum - "A Song For Anna"
Society Of Silence - "Baghdad"
An I & Capablanca - "Farsi Farce"
Review: To date, the Acid Arab Collections EPs and CD - compiled by the Paris-based producers behind the concept, Guido Minisky and Herve Carvalho (who DJ/produce under the Acid Arab alias) - have been little less than stunning. This third vinyl-only EP is of a similar standard. As usual, there's a strong focus on house and techno, with Middle Eastern instrumentation, vocals and samples atop. Highlights include the raw, heavy pump of Society of Silence's deliciously distorted "Baghdad", the spiraling, Brown Album-era Oribital style intoxication of An-I & Capablancas "Farsi Farce", and the ghostly horns and humid pulse of Gilb'r Beesan Rum's "A Song For Anna".

Review: Acid Sessions Vol. 3 is another white-knuckle journey into the world of acid with five top talents in the field all pushing their own limits. Acidulant opens with "Serpentacid' featuring hypnotic 303 grooves and relentless energy, then Sarufaromeo & Papaverhof deliver 'Acid Nihonshu' which blends atmospheric depth with chaotic acid vibes. G303 takes you beyond with 'Live Long and Prosper,' an interstellar anthem filled with cosmic acid and resonant grooves. Paul Renard closes with 'SO36' which is all about the fat rhythms and powerful dancefloor drive. Long live acid is what we say.

GNESIS - "Pear" (original mix) (3:17)
Actress - "Bird Matrix" (Simbiosi remix) (6:40)
Review: Germany's K7 have got it on lock-down with this latest 12', a full rework EP of Actress' "Bird Matrix" killer by a pair of dance luminaries. First up is Kid606, a man who has been making 'outsider' music since before the term was ever coined, and one who has been every bit as important to the dance music scene all the more commercial names. Kid606's Club Mix is driving, filled with slithering percussion and led by a gorgeous swarm of aqueous synths and Zelda-like sonics, while the dub version slows things down and muddies the groove up into a heady, meditative bundle of melodies and beats. Simbiosi, on the other hand, goes for the jugular and delivers a heavy, stomping techno retuning of the original - what a blinder! There's also a tune by the mysterious Gnesis, "Pear", which appeared on Actress' own K7 compilation. Ya need!

Review: Gargantuan-room techno trailblazers Drumcode return with 'The A Sides Vol 11 - Pt. 7'. If the title is any indicator enough - and no, it's not irony - this is a stonking closer to a mammoth seven-12" compilation series. The love-em-or-hate-em label always deliver a rave romp for titans, barging past polite types with frick-off bits from A.D.H.S., Julian Jewell, Marco Faraone and Gary Beck. Topping off a project originally conceived in 2012, this is a pulsing sensation suitable for both budding techno enthusiasts and chinstokers willing to let their hair loose for once.

Review: For its seventh release, southern Italians Obscura Music return to welcome exciting new talents and core label acts. Head honchos Agents Of Time venture down an electro route with "East Coast", as do the ever impressive London Modular Alliance on the hypnotic "Buck One". Man of the moment Aussie Jensen Interceptor channels classic Drexciyan aesthetics on "Manix" before homeboys and label staples Hiver come through with the slinky and hypnotic tech house of "Stasys" and Detroit veteran Kris Wadsworth makes a surprising appearance with some slow burning minimalism displayed on closer "Abroad".

Heavenchord - "Void" (dub) (6:24)
Review: The Greyscale label builds on a fine first EP with a second various artists affair that showcases a fresh take on tech house. Francisco Aguado opens up with 'Vertical Time,' a warm, deep rooted roller for those early evening sets. Giacomo Pellegrino offers a much more heavy and grainy dub techno cit with some deft vocals samples hooking you in. Dubonautik's 'Lost' is a more twisted dub with late night energy and an underlying sense of menace before Heavenchord closes out with the most seductive tune of the lot. It has strident, kicking kicks but drowsy chords and a smoky basement feel that is truly magic.

Ynaktera - "Three Phase"
El Cosmonauta - "7K-OK (A)"
Mariano - "Mysterious Way"
Ghostphace - "Rome Boredom"
Scual - "The Fade Of John Gray"
Review: Stochastic Resonance come through correct with their sixth instalment of the series, this time bringing together the talents of Akamoi, Ynaktera, Cosmonauta, Mariano, Ghostphace and Scual for a proper stirring of the senses on this noisy, drone-laden beat of an EP. Akamoi starts with furious swells on morphing feedback soundscapes, while Ynaktera goes for a pixelated sample workout recalling Pan's Jar Moff. Mariano's "Mysterious Ways" sets the dance tempo, amalgamating a twisted, slightly off beat pattern with bleeps and stabs and "Rome Boredom" by Ghostphace is another special moment - quick, psychotic synths fall into an absolutely terrifying ocean of distortion and satanic noise infusions. What a blinder!

Gradient - "Day Drama" (Altone Reshape) (6:42)

Altone - "Night Drama" (Gradient Reshape) (7:14)
Review: There's a beautifully symmetrical aesthetic to the latest Lempuyang release that totally mirrors the impeccably positioned and delicately balanced sounds going on in the grooves. Two of the most consistent producers of the last few years - Altone and Gradient - produce creatively related tracks, the former named 'Day Drama' and the latter taking on 'Night Drama'. Then they hand their respective tracks over to each other for remixing duties and bingo, a pretty vital 12" is created, a gorgeous set of shimmering dubs on the A-side, and some heavyweight business for dark rainy nights on the flip. Both producers employ a modern day dub flavour to their minimal, moody techno, with it probably being fair to say that the influence of Maurizio and the Basic Channel label is fairly significant in the worlds of both. Altone's sound is a little grittier and seemingly fizzing with radioactivity, decaying and disintegrating as each offering proceeds, where there's something a bit more spartan and linear about Gradient's grooves, that seem to undulate and reverberate almost invisibly, propelling these exceptionally mixable, enjoyable DJ tools along almost under their own momentum. Nice work all round.

Their latest is this fantastic four track various artist compilation titled The Spirit Of The Age Vol.1. Review: Tel-Aviv-based label Tofistock helped shape out their sound with the first volume of Hyper Love in 2021, and now they return with another round of fun and feisty club tracks which speak to the Israeli love affair with psy-trance while offering a modern context for the sound. Babylon X takes a richly melodic approach which fuses big synth pads and sweet 303 lines with a smart, pulsing drop for a proper gear shift when you want to lock a crowd in even deeper. Asphalt DJ & Gzardin have a whale of a time with the punchy, pumping pressure of 'Sweaty Ride' while MYKI & Matris keep it turned up to the peak time with a catchy, vocal-speckled workout. For our ears though you need to make sure you check Tantra Motion's dreamy 'To U', which tips over towards heady machine soul for the subtler corners of a set.

Review: Legendary label Le Disque celebrates its 35th Anniversary with this new various artists EP offering up the sort of sumptuous sounds it is so well known for. Cosmic legend Daniele Baldelli gets first with the driving Italo techno-disco of 'Promeni' while GNMR bangs the box with his leggy 909 drum pings and heady synth swirls on 'Modulo Rmx Downtempo V1.' On the flip, Tagliabue's 'Sogno Cosmico' is a deep and pulsing techno cut that roams at a slower tempo but is no less effective, then Simone Bauer's 'Gigantomachia' is a hyperactive and cutting edge rhythm piece that never sits still and is dark as you like in its ritualistic dance manoeuvres.

Review: Proper techno here for proper techno heads as Leyla offers up a various artists EP of the highest order. The percussive clatter and clanging drums of Remco Beekwilder's 'Industrofunk' are designed for main room destruction. Grindvik & OnScreenActor go for a caustic world of rusty synth textures and clattering drums on 'Perfectly Crushed!' and CASKO's 'Revenge Spells' bangs the box with manic vocal loops and edgy sirens building paranoid techno tension. Review: Adam Beyer and Green Velvet are legendary names in techno music for over 30 years now. Their powerhouse track 'Simulator' receives a set of fresh remixes, extending to some producers to show off their version of this lofty new classic. First up, Mha Iri, a pivotal figure for Drumcode, delivers a scorching remix. She retains the original's fierce bass stabs, using them as formidable motifs, while injecting an abundance of intensity through electrifying builds and drops. Next, Odd Mobb, an emerging talent from Australia recognized by Fred Everything and Skrillex, infuses his four-minute rework with high energy. His remix emphasises the low-end elements and introduces vibrant new bursts of color, creating a dynamic rendition that keeps listeners engaged. Finally, Chris Avantgarde, known for his inventive productions, crafts a remix that defies genre boundaries. Combining elements of breaks, bass, electronica and techno, his interpretation spreads across all of his personal influences. Pressed on neon green 'rippled' vinyl, this record looks as dangerous as it sounds.

This isn't the first time Beyer and Velvet have worked together - you could find them on the 2018 track 'Space Date' for one thing - but there's a sense 'Simulator' will become their calling card as a formidable double act. It's simply huge, catchy as hell and full of all the fireworks you could wish for from a super-sized techno workout, all guided by Velvet's unmistakable voice ducking and diving around the expertly engineered mix.

Also, Beyer's protege Layton Giordani had admired the mohawked Jones' work for as long as he could remember. When he got to DJ alongside him at Belfast's Shine - the spark and subsequent friendship was immediate. The outcome of this respected trio's musical journey comes in the form of "Space Date" which will be familiar to many who've followed their sets over recent months. Review: FXHE bloodline member Big Strick continues to excel on his own 7 Days Ent. label, dropping his first 12" of 2012 which has a nice community feel to proceedings. Alpha & Omega introduces us to Generation Next, a rising 16 year old talent from the streets of Detroit who contributes alongside Mr Strickland to all three tracks here. Stylistically, the three tracks here seem equally indebted to Juan Atkins pure techno endeavours as Infiniti and the sub aqueous grooves of Drexciya, not least the restrained title track which shimmers from the murky depths into a finely crafted liquid groove imbued with bubbling elatory Utopian textures. On the flip "Origin" ripples with pressure, its rhythmic elements grappling for your attention as the space between them decreases with Strick and Gen Next expertly layering texture upon texture. A masterful 12" shaped exercise in modern day Detroit sounds is completed with the devious electrofied snap of "Bloodline".

Here, he offers up a sampler 12" featuring cuts from his recent (and excellent) Reservoir Dogs LP. Perhaps the most noteworthy cut is "Family Affair", a lovingly constructed chunk of hypnotic, melodic deepness written with Omar-S. That said, Strick's solo effort "Armed & Dangerous" - a winding chunk of voodoo techno - is arguably better. The mazy techno-funk of Reckless Ron Cook's "Night Moves" is also outstanding.

Review: Coming off a strong 2020 for the label with releases from Big Strick, Gnext, and Butterbandz, 7 Days follows up with an EP featuring all 3. This trio (or TRINITY) put on a fantastic showcasing of talent. The EP starts off with a sweeping dance tune from Big Strick titled Balance. The catchy piano keys lift your spirits as the drum programming moves your feet. The very animated baseline is a strong force in this song as well. Somebody's Watching shows us Gnext's deep side once again. Hard hitting drums, delayed hi-hats, warm synth pad, aggressive yet friendly bass line, and some acid sprinkled on top. What's not to like? Lastly we get to see more of what to expect from ButterBandz. Another classic in the making for the rising producer on the 7 Days imprint. Ultra Instinct also has a deep underground feel. He brings a thundering, in your face, base line on top of a systematic drum program and airy synth pad. The heat is turning up for 7 Days and this is just a taste of things to come.

The fledgling label's first release set the tone with Dungeon Acid, Torn Hawk and Tuff Sherm lining the excellent Dark Acid 12" and this second release in the series is equally good. Their second is a various artists affair that shows off some of the talents they have unearthed, while Bodin also reappears with "A Walk In The Park." It's a brilliantly militant cut with clipped, marching beats and rasping bass squelches, and elsewhere Philipp Boss opens the EP with the slippery electro rhythms of "Lava". Griezman's "Decheterie" is an uptempo bit of proper first wave tech house a la Terry Francis. Closing out this more than handy EP is the hard edged electro-tech of "Zoober" from Martyne.

"Borders" sounds like a cross between early an early Stroboscopic Artefacts release with the stretched/twisted synth sound of Geeman's "Rubberband 2" (released on Clone's Jack For Daze label), while "Red" (hopefully a reference of its ability to max-out a mixer) is as booming as Speedy J's "Armstrong". "BC5" is linear and dubby with a slight Sandwell District theme thanks to stony thwacks of percussion, whereas "Grounded" is a loopy, tribal and '90s styled techno banger.

Brother's Yard - "Moskito"
Inigo Kennedy - "(Losing My) Reflection"
Grovskopa - "He Cannot Hear Us"
Luka Baumann - "Rodd"
Review: Abiotic Recordings is pleased to present the 3rd in a series of 4 releases benefiting the Mercy Crops charity for the victims of the Tsunami Disaster in December 2004. All 16 artists donated their time and music to make this release come true. All profits made from these four releases will be donated to the charity. After the successes of the last 2 volumes, the A-side takes a more minimal approach while the flip features a tough break beat industrial influence. Brothers Yard (aka Peter Dundov) starts volume 3 off with a track that will be a must for the fans of his work output on Musicman & PV. Inigo Kennedy (Asymmetric, Missile) follows up with another minimal yet experimental track with innovative drum programming & strings & Synth lines that seems to come alive as they jump out of the vinyl. On the flip we have a track from Grovskopa that appears to be his most club orientated to date. Wicked breakbeat programming and raw industrial synths may remind of Surgeon back in the early Counterbalance days, but we can assure you that this track is in a class of it own! Luka Baumann completes the record with another offbeat monster, using huge string and pads and clever programming to create a masterpiece that could easily find its way onto both the dance floor or a soundtrack to somebody's nightmares.

CC - "Calvino Italo"
CC - "Shackles"
Golden Donna - "Colditz"
Golden Donna - "Soft Escape II"
Review: It's rare to get one's head utterly spun by a fresh approach that has no interest in being experimental, but with "Shackles" Cc has managed just that on this release for CGI. Somewhere in between techno, UK Funky and broken beat, the second track on this record hits tough and eminently danceable, the catchy R&B vocal hook worked without getting irritating, the bass steeped in soundsystem culture and the drums rough and ready. "Calvino Italo" is no less stunning, this time focusing on the beat and making it shift and shimmy to a devastating end. On the flip Golden Donna brings a grainier version of the future, letting distorted dub chords strain into the red and sharing the penchant for stammering drums, rounding out an utterly essential slab of wax.

Claro Intelecto - "Fighting The Blind Man"

Unbroken Dub - "Spacing"
Review: Claro Intelecto, Gerry Read and Unbroken Dub feature on the first 12" in a series of five from Dutch label Delsin primed to celebrate reaching 100 releases. Founded back in 1996, Delsin have undoubtedly slipped past this number if you factor in all the reissues, one off releases and their rejuvenated Ann Aimee sub label, but everyone loves a special edition release so lets not nit pick. You can expect material from Sawlin, Conforce, Redshape, Mike Dehnert, Delta and Newworldaquarium on subsequent 100DSR/VAR drops and the series is inaugurated in fine style here. "Fighting The Blind Man" is classic scatterbrained Claro Intelecto, whilst "Granny Bag" demonstrates that Read's wild side has not been tamed by his swift rise in popularity over the past year or so. Siberian producer Unbroken Dub manages to sound both calming and slightly foreboding on the excellent final cut "Spacing".

Review: There is plenty of experimental work at play int his new various artists' collection on Flash. Cloned Existence sets that tone with the brief synth exploration that is 'Wave 1' when Gael & Jolly take off with the much more punchy and thudding techno of 'Paradigm Shock' which is weird up with all sorts of synth designs, effects and layers of reverb. Under Black Helmet ups the ante further with one of those bulky techno grooves that locks you in the moment and Stigmata then brings big room 90s vibes with layers of tangled synth melting the mind. Florian Meindl brings things to a close with gritty, scraping bass, reverb-heavy kicks and pure warehouse techno heaviness.

Review: Techno arriving on 7" is not an all too common sight, but why not? This release from the fledgling Dispari out of Germany suggests it works well. Cloud Management and Gavsborg take one side each, starting with the former. Their 'Tempentary Dance' pairs thudding and broken kick drum patterns with dreamy and rising synth sequences and spoken words. It's brilliantly beguiling. The flip then finds Gavsborg offering 'Did Not Make This For Jah_9' (feat Shanique Marie) which is dark and moody, dubbed out and dystopian deep techno.

Review: Furthur Electronix's first two Furthur Journeys Into compilations tune plenty of heads and shift plenty of copies. The third one keeps the quality levels high with more explorations around the periphery of underground electronics. Chris Coco opens with a soothing synth sound before Jake Slazenger brings crystalline synths and abstract modulations to the mid-tempo '168B.' There is more pace and twisted acid energy to Global Goon's untitled contribution and then old school jungle comes to the fore on the super stylish and atmospheric Gavin Masih cut. Monika Subrtova's 'Alata' is a serene and widescreen ambient synthscape that brings things to a suitably poignant close.

Review: "Compound", the original, was first released in 2000 and was instantly picked up and hammered by DJ's such as Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Layo & Bushwaka and Anthony Pappa. The fusion of Grooveyard's tribal funk and Michel's keen ear for what works on dancefloors, combined with luscious grooves and pumping basslines, made sure the track instantly became a worldwide hit, that blew the proverbial roof off at many clubs. The Shinedoe remix is a more techno orientated remix with a huge funky drive. It is a real big room banger suitable for peak-time play.

Aroy Dee - "Leegte" (5:29)

Jonski - "Venusian Surface" (6:23)
DJ Guy - "Aphelion Orbit" (5:56)
Review: The fourth multi-artist EP from blog-turned-record label Innate takes the imprint's inherently warm and far-sighted sound into new intergalactic directions. Offering a quartet of cuts from established producers and rising stars, all inspired by dreams of cross-cosmic travel and the alluring weightlessness of deep space. 004 explores the love of stargazing electronics in much greater deapth.

The A-side is all about melodious and spacey electro with Dutch legend Aroy Dee making a rare appearance away from his acclaimed M>O>S Recordings label. "Leegte" A1 is impressively immersive, cloaking a jaunty bassline and lo-fi beats in sumptuous aural textures and glassy-eyed chords. Accompanied by Innate label regular Gilbert, "Furthest Planet" A2 is a deep roller whose lilting lead lines, shimmering electronics and tumbling acid lines are little less than life-affirming.

On side B, the sound subtly shifts towards the multi-coloured, sci-fi shimmer of techno. Newcomer Jonski, (aka Bristol electro producer Zobol) drops "Venusian Surface" B1 - a classic interstellar jam full of vivid chords, echoing synth squiggles and alluring leads that rise above a classic tech-funk bassline. Last but not least, effervescent Welshman DJ Guy (Unthank/Other World Music) slams down an energetic techno stomper in "Aphelion Orbit": boasting brilliantly breathless drum programming, illuminated by the celestial shimmer of accompanying chords. A perfect conclusion to Innate's most action-packed release to date.

Review: Coming in hot after last year's Pura Lempuyang compilation is this new two part 12" offering up cuts from it on limited edition turquoise wax. Dib kicks off with 'Cieloterra' which is a devilishly deep and dubby techno cut with fizzing synths running across its face. Federsen is much more smooth and silky with liquid pads and a sublime sense of frictionless groove to his 'Random Motion' while Grad U offers more heavy and stumbling dub quakes on 'From The Shadows.' Last of all is Altone's 'Emergent Structure,' a lush minimal excursion with deft hits and feathery pads over sublime drums.

Review: The second release on RPX16035 takes us back into the beating heart of full-fat electro with a cast of emergent talents bitten by the machine funk bug. Digregorius is up first with 'Aurora Maia', a schlocky slice of twisted synth lines that draws parallels with labels like EYA and Partisan. Gianluca Pellerano has a definite video game soundtrack influence lingering over his track like he's battling an end of level boss. Marco Biagioli has a thumping 4/4 focus at work on equally spooked out 'Gate 5' while F Phono finishes the record off with the Italo-tinted 'We All Love Electro Dance' - a track title we can all get behind.

There is no messing with Part 41 which opens with DJ Shufflemaster & Go Hiyama's ear-splitting, brain frazzling 'Salasa Geometric'. Grey People - "Too Much Relevance"
Review: Introducing the new vinyl only label, Public System Recordings, co run by Matthieu Foltyn and Eric Strykert. The first release is a split series Ep from DJ Spider and Grey People. Starting off the EP; DJ Spider's 'Mind Field' offers a percussive drum riff, warm synths, and a slight off beat rhythmic intensity that moulds together perfectly. Next on Spider's side is 'Demon Seed ' an intense journey utilizing deep stabbing Kicks, delayed snares, whistling synths, and finishes with a soft subtle chant. Flipping the record; Grey People enters into the well familiar analogue techno spectrum. 'Deep Friday' builds up with short stabbing cords, flickering snares and a spooky vocal. 'Too Much Relevance' is a rough acid Chicago throw back. Don't let this one slip!!

Review: Latest in the run of downright deviant activities from the Contort Yourself camp is this new collection of old and new industrial tinged bangers, leading in with the excellent noirish heat of Eindkrak's slow-stepping "Shawarma". Andromeda Complex's mid-90s rhythm-fest sits in stark, functional contrast before GDL's own contemporary rhythm science sends the record spinning in a reverie of surprisingly light-footed percussion. Circling Vultures are too enjoying the mean tempered intensity of focused drum machine programming before Klankman rounds the record off with a slightly squelchy remix of Andromeda Complex's "The Servant".

Review: After the successful launch of the label, Modus Operandi starts into the second round. This times releasing two new tracks of the Gebrueder Ton. "Der Gelbe Fluss" streams like a sonic river and carries anybody on who dares to come too close to the dancefloor. The second track "Denk An Mich" will really capture the ears of the listener. Tangy, like the sound of the Gebrueder Ton is known as, but kicking forward like a machine. "Glass Projekte" is the latest track of the Einmusik Trio and it reveals a different, but well-engineered side of these northern lights. This track develops massively, but not too heavily. After the saw comes in it is all clear: go for the dancefloor, that's right. All in all a fine release with three tracks covering a lot of areas.

It's a theme which maintains on this latest release - a various artists split under the banner Collector I. UK favourite Ben Sims goes first with his turbocharged take on Elyas/Anta's 'Real 13130 G's' and then Elyas offers the first two remixes. His version of Geto Mark and DJ Deeon's 'In This House' is seriously heavy, with rock solid kicks and muted acid spraying about them, then he remixes Player's 'Player Three' into a funked up and loopy house banger for the peak time. Mark Broom is the last to remix and goes for a fusion of smeared Detroit-style synth soul over hefty techno drums.

There's a consistent approach this trans-continental pairing have taken, rolling out cyclical, densely packed rhythms whose delicate configuration masks a hefty low end, guaranteeing full meditative immersion. Folded into the mix are all kinds of smoky textures and distant pads feeding into an air of mystery and exploration - just the kind of eyes-closed techno you would expect to hear from the likes of Donato Dozzy or Neel. Maya Nidam then comes on board for a remix that continues the subliminal theme to great effect.

The label's latest release is a compilation of sorts, featuring as it does cuts from a trio of artists. It is a split that opens up with a remix of goth legends Fields Of The Nephilim's 'The Watchman' (GOTT Mutatio), a track with progressive guitar licks ringing out over a twisted metal bassline. The crashing drums are cacophonous and demand you march along to what sounds like Depeche Mode on a comedown. On the flip, Sonic Violence steps up with 'Malice' (GOTT Mutatio) which is a dark, stomping bit of tech that draws on elements of EBM and industrial to make for a gothic and strobe-lit late-night monster.
