Politics Of Dancing continue to expand their horizons with another round of collaborative wares on their P.O.D Cross sublabel. Once again they've invited big hitters who slip perfectly into the minimal house mindset the Parisian label has been locked in since 2013, leading with Cab Drivers on the A side. The deep-diving German mainstays gel with the POD crew in a tightly clipped but utterly funked up roller, sitting in contrast to the more open, tripped out synth flourishes Sebo K brings to the table on side B. With each track distinctive but also compatible, there's every chance you'll be compelled to play both out at the late night / early morning shuffled-up jamboree.

Review: Politics Of Dancing continue their adventures in the studio with friends and kindred spirits, this time teaming up with two tech house titans that paved the way for the sound they're immersed in today. Fellow Parisian Chris Carrier sounds right at home sparring with S.M.A.L.L and Paco on "Track 1", where an irresistible bassline groove underpins some acid licks that burrow deep into the night time frame of mind. On the flip Nail is the partner of choice, and the UK veteran helps whip up a crisp and chunky workout heavy on the drums - a serious DJ workout for those craving solid gear for their sets.

Review: The P.O.D. Cross project continues apace with another pair of choice partnerships between Parisian house champs Politics Of Dancing and Chris Stussy on the A side and Sun Archive on the flip. With Chris Stussy, the vibe is understated but driving, with a great emphasis placed on the hooky bassline and subtle dubby chord stabs. On the B side, Sun Archive brings out a more hazy, pad led affair that sounds purpose built for spaced out mornings when the dancefloor wants to feel warm and fuzzy, without losing the necessary energy provided by a sturdy rhythm section.

Review: After the success of the first experiment, Politics Of Dancing jumps on the collaboration mission for a second time and invites fellow Parisian dons D'Julz and Oleg Poliakov to get deep in the studio. Bass Culture boss D'Julz takes on the A side, and the results are a sleek, measured trip through minimal house with a dubby garnish. Oleg Poliakov's contribution takes on a woozier atmosphere thanks to a wobbly synth lolling through the track, but of course this is still crisp, functional dance music for the long haul dancefloor. Now we just have to wait to see who POD snap up next.

Review: The Politics of Dancing crew are launching a brand new venture here, instigating some choice collaborative action with their nearest and dearest, jammed out and cut to wax for your listening and spinning pleasure. Of course it figures that they'd start this project close to home, bringing in some of their Parisian brethren for two assured cuts of heads down, straight up house music. Djebali lends a hand on the A side, with a spread of swirling pad tones drifting around the sturdy drums, while Franck Roger brings a more flirtatious sound to the B side with playful diva samples and crafty synth lines played out in his inimitable style.

Review: Politics Of Dancing Records is an ever expanding and ever evolving and ever excellent label that has recently grown to include the P.O.D Cross sublabel. This next vital two tracker is a split with Politics of Dancing the artist on both sides, with a different producer on each. It is Djoko with whom he links first for a spaced out tech cut that spins you out into the cosmos on warm pads and metallic drums. On the flip is the more rubbery and bass driven dubbed out and deep offering from Politics Of Dancing x Lowris. Both sides bang.

Review: Next up on the Politics Of Dancing collaborative label is Okain & Rowlanz, going up against Paris' finest for a thrill ride through the mean streets of minimal tech house. The A side track is crackling with electric energy - the beat is bright and forthright, the synths limber and expressive, with an oh-so tasteful dubbiness to them. The vibe is more noticeably heads down on the flip, as the space opens out and the sound palette goes more minimal to make room for a rubbery acid bassline. Both tracks have specific portions of the night in mind, but also sport flexibility in their make up that should see them gel with all kinds of classy club music.
