One of the biggest Deep, Dark & Dangerous releases - and a key moment in both The Widdler and Pushloop's discography - gets a well-deserved vinyl make-over and it sounds all the better for it. Still sounding relevant, still sucking us into their heady, weighty, eastern brew, each cut still hits hard... The melodica blows smoke rings round our souls on 'Wiccan Witches' and 'Houdini', the strings and sweeping atmospheres suck us deep into the epic bass holes on 'Abydos' while the Indian singing on 'Calamity' soothes and slaps us in equal measure.
