Notes: The NT-USB is a highly versatile side-address microphone that is ideal for recording singing and musical performances in addition to spoken applications such as podcasting and voice-over.

It is fully compatible with all mainstream recording applications on both Windows and Mac OS based computers, as well as the Apple iPad using RODE Rec, GarageBand, or any other recording app that accepts an external microphone. Use on the Apple iPad requires a suitable USB connection adaptor, such as the Apple Camera Connection Kit.

The body of the NT-USB features a zero-latency stereo headphone monitoring (3.5mm) jack, which allows you to monitor the microphone input in realtime, along with dials to adjust the monitoring level and mix between the computer/iPad audio and the microphone input.

Featuring a heavy duty metal body and internally shock mounted 1/2" condenser capsule mounted for end-address, the M3 is at home in the studio, on stage or on location and is equally suitable as a vocal microphone, guitar microphone, drum microphone or presenter microphone.

A -10 dB and -20 dB level attenuation (or PAD), selectable from inside the battery compartment, allows recording of loud sound sources, such as a guitar amplifier or drum. Notes: The Rode Podcaster is a dynamic, end-address USB microphone that combines broadcast quality audio with the simplicity of USB connectivity, allowing recording direct to a computer without the need for an additional digital interface.

Including an audiophile quality 18-bit resolution, 48 kHz sampling A/D converter, the Podcaster processes all of the analogue to digital conversion internally, bypassing the computer's lower quality on-board sound controller altogether. A headphone output on the microphone body provides zero latency monitoring, so the user can hear exactly what is being recorded, free of delay or echo.

The Podcaster features an internal pop filter, designed to minimise plosives sounds that can overload the microphone capsule and distort the audio output. It is fully compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS X computers, as well as several Linux distributions. The microphone is bus powered and features a status LED to indicate operation.

The Podcaster is ideal for podcasting, vodcasting, YouTube videos, voice recognition software, corporate videos and any production application that requires a simple yet professional voice over microphone. It is also a convenient demo microphone for musicians and songwriters that prefer the convenience of a USB microphone but don't want to compromise sound quality.

It can also be used as an iPad microphone for the Apple iPad (in conjunction with the iPad Camera Connection Kit and a powered USB hub) to provide high quality recording to various iPad audio applications such as Garageband.

Notes: At first glance of the NTR you're aware that it's very special and unique - an intricate blend of art and science.

Designed to hang in the world's finest recording studios and performance halls equally as well as home studio spaces, its existence is a labour of love for RODE. Every element of the NTR, from the transformer to the ribbon element itself, has been designed and created in-house at RODE's headquarters in Sydney, Australia. All with the aim of crafting the finest ribbon microphone available.

Sonically, the NTR is capable of reproducing unprecedented high frequency detail and accuracy, addressing common criticisms of other ribbon microphones, while opening up the possible usage scenarios considerably. This allows it to record sound sources that usually require a more sensitive microphone element.

Measuring only 1.8 microns, the NTR ribbon was designed to provide the highest level of sensitivity across the useable frequency response range.

Most ribbon microphone manufacturers manually cut the element, resulting in microscopic frays along the edges that decay over time. Rode uses a proprietary laser technique to cut the NTR ribbon, giving a far more precise cut with smooth edges, increasing it's longevity.

The NTR's integrated shock mounting is so effective an external shock mount is not required.

A "travel screw" secures the sensitive ribbon element and shock mount in place when not in use.

The chemically etched all-metal mesh is extremely rigid while exhibiting super-low density, this results in greater acoustic transparency.

The solid frame around the ribbon capsule is positioned entirely within the rejection zone of the capsule's bidirectional polar pattern.

The ribbon is mounted distinctly separate to the microphone body, allowing the greatest possible acoustic transparency around the ribbon element and minimising any resonance.

Married to Rode's ribbon element is a high output, ultra-low noise, low-impedance transformer. This ensures maximum fidelity between the NTR's ribbon motor and electronics.

In combination with the transformer this allows the NTR to be used with a wide range of preamps without the additional gain requirements of many other ribbon offerings.

Notes: The Rode NTK is the multi award-winning Class-A tube microphone that has found a home with tens of thousands of professionals around the world.

The heart of the NTK is the Australian designed and manufactured HF-2 capsule. The electronic circuitry complementing this very sensitive transducer includes a hand-selected twin-triode 6922 valve and audiophile grade components and lay-out. The result is an ultra-wide dynamic range, very low noise, and stunning tube warmth. The NTK's rich valve sound is ideal for vocals, acoustic instruments, drum overheads, guitar amps and pianos.

The Rode NTK's gold plated membrane is housed in an internally shock-mounted capsule, with a satin nickel finished body and heat-treated steel mesh head. A dedicated power supply unit is included as standard, along with a 10m multicore cable and RM2 standmount.
