I do not buy a record unless I know that I can play it at any of my events (regardless of whether I like it or not), which are usually weddings, banquets, and those sorts of things. Many of these records contain tracks which I play only when background music is required; in at least many cases, if you have never heard of it, chances are good that it is background music.
