Review: Life & Death's next ambitious undertaking is courtesy of label chief DJ Tennis who teams up with Israeli indie-dance duo Red Axes. They were first introduced to each other by Superpitcher & Rebolledo (The Pachanga Boys) at a festival in Corsica - and the rest is history. Recorded on top of a decadent old shopping mall in the middle of Tel Aviv, the trio are said to have combined their "love of psy and Mediterranean influences" over a scheduled week of recording sessions together. The result is Redrago, a collection of tripped-out dancefloor oddities that take in everything from lo-slung punk funk ("Rave 'N' Roll), heady and (acid) bass-driven dancefloor narratives that cross over into vintage pop ("Il Veliero"), deep kosmiche ("Plastelina") and deep and tunnelling techno as heard on the epic "Ventilo".

Review: The young Euphoric State label is back with another offering it hopes will take you to emotional places new. And it does thanks to the work of Tape Hiss with the On Persephone's Island EP. The title cut opens up with sleek house drums that come alive with some celebratory piano chords that bring the good times in a classy fashion. 'You Are The Light' is a more minimal number but still has plenty of silvery pads and then 'A Veritable Sea' rides on nice zoned out breakbeats. 'An Angel Of Reason' is maybe the best of the lot - a warm hearted, mid tempo end of the night cut that makes you feel gooey inside.

Review: Charm cooks up some seriously deep and richly harmonic new grooves here for the Flaneurecordings label. Opener 'Love Is Music' is a spine-tingling affair with soft, cuddly drums way down low and a buttery smooth baritone voice akin to Barry White muttering up top next to steamy female coos. It's pure vibes. 'Floating Sentiently' is another cocooning deep house groove with diffuse pads and gentle drum rotations then 'Music Means Life' is a downbeat love affair with lush chords and cosmic twinkles that's as much the soundtrack to a sunny afternoon as it is a late night romance.

Review: Berlin's Lowmoneymusiclove celebrates its tenth year with a bang, releasing their first-ever 2x12' LP via their new signees Felon5, comprised of Charley Tucker, Jhobei, Jobe Elliott-King and Oliver Rayner. The Germany-based outfit's debut album showcases their production prowess with a finely crafted eight tracker, traversing various dancefloor moods. From the coastal breaks of opener 'Take Off' to the deep techno of 'Sexy Swayze,' or the rolling tech house of 'Moped Mayhem' (ROTM mix) and the Balearic ambient closer '7 Minutes At Sea' - Felon5's diverse influences are on full display. LMML21 offers a perfect balance of uplifting and contemplative moments, sure to captivate both day and night crowds.
