'Back in the Days' sets a clipped vocal loop against shuffling percussion and subtle modulation, keeping the structure linear while allowing space for small, deliberate shifts. The groove never breaks stride but changes just enough to maintain momentum without overplaying its hand. On the B-side, 'Usual Madness' adds melodic detail without clutter. Arpeggiated synths glide over a buoyant low end, with background textures folding in gradually. A brief drop strips things back before a final build adds tension, not drama. Both tracks are engineered with clarity and economy, leaning on arrangement rather than effects to hold attention. It's functional but thoughtful material that's built for extended play without overstating itself.

Review: Ghost dancing progressive techno via amapiano from Roy Rosenfeld, bringing a determinedly dark-carnivalesque two-track smokeout to 12" wax. 'Da Vision' extends slippery synths and savanna-brushy sound effects underneath a shuffling tresillo, while 'Get Loose' aims to unburden us from the stresses of daily life through well-sculpted Reeses and pads, as a cascade of vitreous sound befalls the pre-drop breakdown. Overall an impressively atmospheric outing from the London DJ.
