Review: Head Front Panel is the first guest producer to land on Dark Machine Funk and apparently has long been an inspiration. He brings four precision tooled techno weapons aimed squarely at the dancefloor. 'Panama' is a copy cut with vocal yelps that will ignite the party, 'Tactile' is dubby, with watery pads and a relentless sense of forward motion that will sweep anyone off their feet and 'Surdo' then gets more dark, heads down and menacing with its glitchy melodies and warehouse feel. 'Them' brings more darkness, rusty loose, edgy synths and all round vibe of techno mischief.

Review: Kerrie is an Irish DJ, producer and live performer based in Manchester who heads up Dark Machine Funk Recordings. For the label's third release, she unleashes upon us the mind bending sci-fi sounds of 'Beauty In Industry' followed by the austere DJ tool 'Machine Operator' reminiscent of the classic Blueprint Records sound - a label she's previously appeared on. Over on the flip, Kerrie ventures further into the void on the mental overdrive of 'Desert Power' followed by the wonky electro crossover sounds of 'Forged'.

Review: Kerrie's latest proprietorship is the Dark Machine Funk label, to which the Irish DJ and producer brings the weirder ends of techno. Proudly presenting the new K-llab series, Kerrie is here heard partnering with some of her favourite ever artists, offering a fresh take on the sounds and creative processes of each collaboration. Here the collab of choice is Italian duo Dynamic Forces, known for their heavy, old-school-leaning, industrial-influenced techno. The latter artist's 'Moralism' leads the charge with an unsettlingly slippery wonky techno tune agog with stinger plucks resembling horror movie pizzicati, while Kerrie's own 'Good Intentions' betrays perhaps less felicitous outcomes, utilising consequent, spirally leads and all-encompassing synth buzzes of the sinister variety.
