On 'Fizmo', he shapes liquid funk and break-flecked techno into something that feels at once unhinged and ultra-preciseipsychedelic without drifting into any excess. The title track opens the A-side with tightly coiled energy and modular stabs, hinting at old-school rave but drenched in headsy nuance. Flip over for 'Aside', a standout roller with slippery rhythm edits and finely sculpted bass weight, while 'Dirty' dials up the tension with ghostly pads and metallic percussion. Sleek, inventive, and rigorously effectiveiZ@p once again proves he's in a league of his own.
