Review: These two tracks have long been staples in JD Twitch's sets, following their original Japanese release on DJ Emma's Nitelist Music imprint back in 2015. Since they never had a "proper" release this side of the world, the Optimo Trax main man has decided to put together this reissue. Hiroshi Watanabe's "Infinity Sign" is particular special, featuring as it does Kyoto Jazz Massive style pianos, rising strings and soaring melodies alongside fizzing drum machine percussion and some particularly psychedelic acid lines. It's something of an epic, all told, but one capable of mesmerizing a dancefloor throughout its 10-minute duration. Kuniyuki takes a different approach on "Acid Air", cannily combining Jack-Track staples - think sweaty, drum machine handclap fills and TB-303 lines - with tribal style African drums.
