Review: In 2018 Arctic Monkeys sold out the Royal Albert Hall with a gig raising money for War Child, all proceeds heading for the charity. Reports from the show were excellent, which was to be expected from a band that went from vital enfant terrible to indie headliners while managing to maintain artistic credibility, with frontman Alex Turner now among the most significant figures in UK rock 'n' roll (albeit his side projects, The Last of the Shadow Puppets and Death Ramps, have helped).
Now, two years on, the Sheffield outfit are back with a similar idea, although this time it's a highly sought-after recording from that night, again with the intention of handing over all the cash to War Child. Preceded by sharing a video of the version of '505' they performed at said show, if you've heard that take on the Favourite Worst Nightmare track you know what to expect here.
