Love Me Tender (2:47)
Can't Help Falling In Love (3:04)
Review: What better way to celebrate the charm of Elvis Presley than with 'Love Me Tender' on limited edition 7" pink heart-shaped vinyl? Featuring the iconic ballad that captured hearts worldwide, this single was originally recorded in 1956 for Presley's film debut, Love Me Tender. It showcases the King's tender vocals and enduring romantic appeal and the heart-shaped design adds a touch of whimsy and nostalgia, making it a perfect tribute to one of the most beloved songs in rock 'n' roll history, as well as a unique slab of wax for the shelves.

Review: Eddie Piller Presents The Mod Top 40 revives the essence of '60s Mod music with a fresh twist. While many fans are familiar with the tracks, the story behind them is new and intriguing. Inspired by the Mod revival of the late 70s, Eddie delved into the original scene, guided by Randy Cozens, whose letters to music magazines in the pre-internet era led to the creation of the original Mod Top 100. Eddie's double vinyl set includes 40 essential r&b, soul, jazz and beat tracks plus personal picks for unavailable originals. This release honours Cozens' influence and offers a stylish, informative introduction to classic Mod sounds complete with new sleeve notes and track details.

Review: In 2019, soul legend P.P. Arnold made a powerful comeback with The New Adventures of... P.P. Arnold, her first studio album in decades. It saw her lay down some killer collaborations with Paul Weller, Steve Cradock, The Specials, and her son Kojo Samuel, and as such the album earned widespread praise. Arnold's UK tour ended with a standout performance at Liverpool's Grand Central Hall in October and it is that which was recorded to be presented here in her live album Live In Liverpool on earMUSIC. It's a great showcase of her commanding stage presence and effortless vocals with classics like 'The First Cut Is The Deepest' alongside some fresh new songs, all on nice heavyweight wax.

Review: Elvis Presley can mean many things to many people, but he was surely at his best in those heady breakthrough years, all scratchy guitar and bucketloads of tremolo backed up by one of the most distinctive voices of all time. This handy compilation for Not Now Music gathers together some of the indelible hits from Presley's purple patch on one handy comp, taking in the likes of 'Hound Dog', 'Jailhouse Rock', 'Blue Moon Of Kentucky' and scores more besides. If you need a reliable primer on the King, this compilation will have you covered for any amount of hip-shaking action you have in mind.

Review: 1972 was a pivotal year for The King. Having spent a good deal of the previous decade growing increasing focused on movies - or perhaps more accurately, getting lost in a relentless filming schedule foisted upon him - he'd reached psychological lows towards the end of the 1960s, but then re-emerged more in control of his own career decisions and re-energised, with the famous Comeback Special a major catalyst.
Three years later he hit the road for a mammoth 15 city spring tour which would spawn its own movie (aptly titled, Elvis On Tour), and set the scene for the following year's live flick follow up, Aloha From Hawaii Special. The performances proved the fact that He Had Returned, bigger and bolder than ever, as evidenced through this collection of recordings from those 1972 rehearsals.

Review: Mississippi-born rock'n'roll king Elvis Presley is credited with a rather remarkable 385 albums and almost 4000 releases though many of those are unofficial and often duplicated works. They are all packed with many of his huge hits and the unique mixes of gospel, soul, blues and rock that made him a legend. Rock It Up is one of them and comes from earlier in his career with tunes like 'I Love You Because,' 'That's All Right,' 'I'm Left You're Right and 'I Got A Woman' plus many more.

Review: The year 1957 is a particularly important one for those who believe that rather than dying on the toilet in 1976, the King actually passed away - in spiritual rather than bodily terms, we hasten to add - when he joined the US military in March 1958. This is certainly Elvis at his most delightfully rebellious and threatening - the Presley that TV cameramen dare not film below the waist in full effect. Hear him race through the raw, rough and ready 'All Shook Up', the runaway train rhythm of 'Hot Dog' and others before a surprisingly reverential cover of Fat Domino's 'Blueberry Hill'. The sound of rock 'n' roll being shifted into a state of mass acceptance by probably the most famous man in the world, for several decades at least.

Review: It's Christmas (nearly) which means, eating too much, drinking too much, spending too much - and arguing too much about all of the above. It also means it's an acceptable time of year to listen to thematic music you never usually would and artists you wouldn't ordinarily play. Enter Elvis Presley with Songs For Christmas. His warm tones are a perfect match for this setlist which takes in all the many festive classics such as 'Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Lane)' and '(There'll Be) Peace In The Valley (For Me)', What's more, they all come on a fitting snowy white vinyl, too.

Review: The King calling it like it is, Vinyl Passion presents a collection of Elvis Presley-sung Yuletide anthems, ranging from the religious to the consumerist. Which means if you're reading this chances are it's late-November or December and the season is beginning to light up. More so, you're looking to expand the soundtrack for the month or so ahead beyond the usual repertoire. Of course, this is hardly niche stuff, for the most part anyway. Arguably the most legendary name in rock 'n' roll, even now, taking on a slew of tracks that will be familiar to many, if not lyrically ingrained in their subconscious. Nevertheless, there are stand out moments of holiday cool, from opener 'Santa Claus is Back In Town' to 'Blue Christmas' and 'Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Lane)', alongside a host of interpretations of gospel tomes.

Press Conference & Awards Ceremony, Hawaiian Village Hotel (March 25th 1961)
Review: Back in 1961, before taking a break from live performance for eight years, Elvis Presley played one last gig - a benefit concert for the USS Arizona Memorial Fund at the Pearl Harbor naval base in Hawaii. It was a legendary gig, with Presley delivering an energetic, enthusiastic and memorable performance in front of a similarly over-excited audience. This CD presents the performance in full - complete with such classics as 'I Got a Woman', 'All Shook Up', 'Heartbreak Hotel', 'Hound Dog', 'That's All Right' and 'Heartbreak Hotel', as well as plenty of on-stage chat - alongside a previously long-buried recording of a press conference given by "the King" following his arrival in Hawaii. A genuine must-have for Elvis fans!
