The legendary Tony Bennett collaborated with the acclaimed Count Basie Orchestra on this recording originally released back in 1959 under another title, Swingin' Together is what critics hailed as Bennett's ability to mix jazz and popular music, something Basie - the older master - sensed in him as a kindred spirit. Quite simply this is one of the highlights of his career, where Bennett's charming and sophisticated voice is backed by a masterful orchestra. Includes nine bonus tracks on 180 gram coloured vinyl. William James 'Count' Basie formed his acclaimed orchestra in 1935, leading the group for almost 50 years.
