MD Recordings is in the middle of a busy and brillaint run of soul gems. This one is part of The MD Records Blacktop Series which is curated by the label's Jordan Wilson of Empire Nighters & The Soul Archive fame. The plan is to make previously hard to find 45s available to one and all. This super rare first offering was discover and played in the 90s and is said to have only 12 copies in existence, until now. Both versions are raw, direct funk classics with tight, high speed rhythms and fine vocal work.
