The Acacia Strain's third album The Dead Walk was a 2006 release on Prosthetic Records. It was produced with Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage and featured regular band members including Vincent Bennett on lead vocals next to DL Laskiewicz on lead guitar, Christopher Daniele on rhythm guitar, Seth Coleman on bass guitar. It's a hardcore mix of death metal and rock with sledgehammer drums, brutal lyrics often rooted in misanthropy. The band has put out albums since but this is regarded as one of their high-water marks, for good reason.
