It presents a second full length record for Leeds-based label Leaf, and Stunning Luxury finds the band tumbling through a kaleidoscope of post-Beatlemania psychedelica; well, "Skirmish In The Suburbs" at least. With other comparable references to outfits like Soulwax and The Rapture, to some Madchester familiarities throughout, it's tracks like "Letter From Hampi Mountain" and "Rechargeable" that gives Snapped Ankles a punky New York sound good enough for the virtual CBGBs dancefloor.
