Tellier's tenth original solo album - and his fourth this decade - takes us right back to the illustrious bed of emotional melodies he's been synonymous with since 2000. Having immersed himself in a world of synths on his last few LPs, there's a refreshing sense of organic orchestration throughout L'Aventura. Ranging from the epic vocal harmonies of "Love" to the lolloping Royksopp adventure "Ladult" via the pastoral textures of "Aller Vers Le Soleil" at points this is dreamy, at others it's direct... But at all times it offers something new on every listen. You could argue this is one of his best long players to date.
