To mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic British gangster film Get Carter (actually released in 1971) which starred Michael Caine and was directed by Mike Hodges, Beatball South Korea presented the soundtrack that propelled jazz musician Roy Budd into film music stardom. This expanded edition draws from the original Japanese and British OST releases but also offers a bonus disc with outtakes and dialogue snippets. Part of Beatball's Roy Budd Classic Soundtrack Scores series, this one offers up Budd's jazzy and groovy signature style which very much defined the essence of the film's scenes along with key dialogue. It's a great nod to Budd's genius as well as a still cool standalone listen.
