Manchester's Sferic welcomes label debutant Romeo Poirier for an evocative ambient trip that captures similar heights as his 2016 record "Plage Arriere." It's made up of brass sounds, found sounds, sampled sounds and plenty of grainy lo-fi textures that can be cloudy and muggy or warm and romantic depending on your perspective. It will have you gazing off into the distance either way, narrowing your eyes as you try to identify the seamless fused sounds and hazy visions off on the horizons. It's relaxing and cathartic in a new, cliche-free way and provides a real excuse to escape the daily grind.
