Italians Do It Better impresario Mike Simonetti follows his fellow NYC disco brethren Sweeney and Renault into the Public Release hall of fame, helming the fifth edition of the label's impeccably presented Private Release 12" picture disc series. Few people won't recognise the source material for "Everybody Dub" which has rightfully been gathering some heat ahead of release, but you can't deny how impressively Simonetti has mangled what is a late 70s disco standard. You might have trouble identifying the remaining three edits (and hey we're not going to do the hard work for you) but the thunderous euro disco swagger of "Extra Terrestrial Arpeggiator" is definitely worthy of further investigation.
