Man like Nico is given the responsibility of kicking off the new Love Exposure label and does so with aplomb. A first release on a new label is always important to set the tone for what is to come and this one does that with a forward thinking tech house edge. 'Highball' has stiff beat loops and frazzled synths spraying between the tin pot percussive sounds. 'Roy' then ducks and dives on filthy synth textures and more rigid and compelling beats then 'Controlled Accident' takes things late into the night with a sense of cosmic energy pervading the marching beats. 'Shinjuku Pacebreaker' is a final percussive workout with lots of freshness.
