This cheeky little White Label from San Francisco-based producer Jim E Stack - he of Hyetal and Sky Ferreira fame - courtesy of the Innovative Leisure label that pulls together two tracks that have been causing some serious commotion on his Soundcloud page. Appearing on music hype barometer Pitchfork last year, "Is It Me" was described as sounding "like a car that just won't start" but really it's all about the subtle ways in which Jim E Stack twists the vocal harmony this way and that to form the most unlikely of club bangers. Complementing this, "Run" shows off the producer's deft drum editing and arranging skills as a barrage of samples are fed frenetically through the shredder.
