Neat little remastered reissue of Ike Strong's "Boogie Land" - an early 80s disco funk oddity that will certainly find favour amongst those digging the Peoples Potential Unlimited output at the moment. A truly infectious groove formed of handclaps, glistening wah wah and subtle synths forms the backdrop of a track given the funk by the sultry female refrain "You can't help but dance when you hear it Boogie land" and Strong's gritty lead. The accompanying instrumental strips it all back to just the bare groove and the female funk.
