Dave Harvey's Futureboogie Recordings explores the fringes of the cosmos on this tense EP from Gensi. This artist, born Andras Genser, is an accomplished composer and producer who crafts music and soundscapes for film and television, and he brings plenty of that story telling musical narrative to the tracks here. The title track is a freewheeling and celestial disco bouncer with magic arps. 'Humble Brush' has acid lines and more banging house drums but still an intergalactic sense of travel and 'The Great Body Buzz' traps you in fuzzy, fizzing loops of disco-tech. A Decius remix brings a different vibe.
