Francesco de Belis made his first outing on wax 21 years ago. Under the Francisco alias, he's still capable of dropping killer cuts though - as this four-track collection of 'House Bootleg' cuts proves. He channels the spirit of fellow Italians Tiger & Woods on the loopy, odd and lightly dubbed-out opener 'Move', before opting for deep bass, lolloping house drums, French touch flourishes and sweat-soaked jazz fills on the similarly hypnotic 'House'. He gets busy with his own debut single, 'Fregna The Age' - an acid house and proto-house influenced classic - to open side B, while 'Miss Cha Cha Cha' is a wildly trippy, loopy and dubbed-out fusion of warehouse-ready acid house and revivalist electrofunk.
