Emmanuel Top's 'Turkish Bazar' is a relentless historic bastion of hard acid. First released in 1994, this six-minute trail of gunpowder came with an ominous, poetic forewarning: "the music was new, black, polished chrome and came over the summer like liquid night." Allegedly sampled from a spoken word B-side written by Doors founding member Jim Morrison, lending the record a timeless edge. Only natural, then, that it should see a remake from next-gen techno torch-carrier Chris Liebing, whose mega-production adds extra cladding and armour plating to an already monumental mix, though it refuses nevertheless to let up on the track's unfiltered 303 and matchingly unabashed feel.
