Kicking off the Lokee label in style, Ejeca brings a very particular kind of bumping house to bear following a slew of releases for the likes of Aus, W&O Street Tracks and Tusk Wax. "Different Rules" is bold and confident as it strides forth with grooving organ chords, sharp vocal licks and an irrepressibly funky beat, which Ekkohaus takes great pleasure in shearing away to more lean, heads down construction with more understated synth work. "Akrobat" sees Ejeca getting equally shuffly, firing off samples with poise and riding the swing with skill, leaving Eric Volta to mop up with a richly melodic and warm version that plots its own synth-heavy course into tech house heaven.
