Freerange and Crackzat is the coming together of two of deep house's finest. Both deal in high quality sounds and this EP is another case in point: "Valentine" is all freewheeling chords and jazz sensibilities while "Back Of My Heart" pumps there party that bit more with its upright drums floating keys. "I Heard You" is pure old school US house, with choppy hits and garage swing deep in its bones. Patrice Scott serves up a remix that is typically smooth, deep and soul drenched. You'll be hard pushed to find nicer deep house sounds this year.
