1985 Music's brilliant 2023 ends with one more fine EP. This one follows on from an outing from the boss man Alix Perez back in November and comes from Cesco. It's a fresh fusion of dubstep, trap and grime with opener 'GITP' riding a lurching beat with filtered vocals bringing some streetwise swagger. 'Overdue' (feat Bidl) has filthy and screwface bass drilling down deep and 'Up The Place' is all about the manic loops and skittish double-time drums. Last but not least is 'Swing King' (feat Hamdi) which is another hot stepping nu-dubstep devastator.
