Trap is now a globally established sound that has permeated all levels of popular music. But back when ASAP Ferg dropped his Trap Lord album a decade ago it was much more in its infancy. It was the American's debut studio long-player and has guest verses from greats like ASAP Rocky, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, French Montana and Waka Flocka Flame. It is an album of deep, dark and delicious moods, weird and wonderful lyrics and kinetic rhythms, in particular 'Cocaine Castle' which is a meandering ode to the dark side of drug excess.
