It reached the Top 10 of Billboard's album chart at the time and went on to be certified gold, hence this reissue is a welcome one that re-highlight's Ice's skills on the mic. Many argue it features his best work, with musings on decaying America and humours digs at Public Enemy and angst up deliveries on "Lifestyles Of The Rich And Infamous." The production hits hard, emphasising each message with visceral thrills. This is a classic for a reason.
