Effects pedals

There are thousands of effects pedals on offer, with something to suit every budget and every sound. Effects pedals – sometimes called stomp boxes or FX – were originally targeted at guitar players, but now there are options for everyone, including pedals designed specifically for bass guitars, synths and vocals. Old-school effects pedals were typically simple analogue effects like distortion, overdrive, fuzz, wah and flangers. Modern pedals might also include digital processing, unlocking complex reverbs, delays, loopers and modulation effects like chorus. Electronic producers should look out for pedals which can handle line-level signals, making it easier to hook up synthesisers, modular synths, drum machines, samplers and other pro studio equipment. Some pedals even offer stereo inputs and outputs, meaning you can use them on true stereo signals. Whether you’re looking for a cheap, high-quality distortion or a boutique multi-effects unit, there’s something for everyone.

Nobels ODR-mini2 Mini Natural Overdrive Effects Pedal
Cat: 1048335 Rel: 17 Dec 24

Mini natural overdrive effects pedal with bass cut control
Notes: For over 30 years, the Nobels ODR-1 overdrive pedal has become a renowned classic and has developed cult-like status among guitarists worldwide. Seen as an indispensable staple in many professional setups, the pedal has become an industry standard that is widely imitated, but seldom surpassed.

The new Nobels ODR-mini2 is the next stage in the evolution of the legendary ODR-1's little brother, the ODR-mini. Due to popular demand, this diminutive powerhouse now features a very useful bass cut feature as an external control. Added to this, the upgraded full metal housing, along with the integrated Mounty-P Mounting Plates, completes the worthwhile upgrades for this compact dynamo.

For extended ease of use, the internal Bass Cut feature originally included in the ODR-1BC is now available as an external variable control right on the face of the pedal. This allows for complete optimisation of the pedal's bass response on the fly, at the simple turn of a knob. The flexibility of this new additional control compliments Nobels' unique and renowned SPECTRUM tone control, which alters the proportion of both the low-mid and high frequencies simultaneously. At midday, the frequencies remain almost untouched. However, moving from the minimum to maximum positions will deliver variations in frequency response that are suitable for a wealth of musical tastes and styles.

With its newly designed and upgraded full metal enclosure, the ODR-mini2 is capable of operating at either standard 9V or 18V for increased dynamic headroom. Along with all other Nobels pedals, the ODR-mini2 now also features 4 integrated Mounty-P Mounting Plates for safe and secure attachment to pedalboards.Upgrade your overdrive experience and become a part of the new ODR generation!

Nobels DEL-mini Compact Stereo Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 1058584 Rel: 17 Dec 24

Combines an outstanding selection of delay tones in a budget-friendly and space-saving enclosure
Notes: DEL-mini

Compact Stereo Delay Pedal

The diminutive, yet feature packed, Nobels DEL-mini delay pedal combines an outstanding selection of delay tones in a budget-friendly and space-saving enclosure.

While Nobels has a heritage of past delay units, this newly engineered pedal offers maximum versatility in a super compact package.

Providing an expertly curated selection of timeless delay effects with either a mono or spacious stereo image, DEL-mini delivers a wealth of sonic possibilities, far beyond its modest size and is an excellent addition to any size of setup.

Featuring three carefully crafted delay flavours, Tape (up to 553 ms), Analog (up to 402 ms) and Digital (up to 1000 ms), all three modes all faithfully capture the iconic delay tones that have shaped music across genres, past and present. Each mode is simply selected by the pedal's convenient mode switch right on the face of the pedal.

Adding to its flexibility, the DEL-mini features full tap tempo functionality, but in a single switch design. Simply holding the footswitch for approximately two seconds enters the pedal into "Tap Tempo Mode", following which the pedal will respond to rhythmic tapping instantly. Further defying expectations based on its compact appearance, there are dedicated toggles for selection between mono and stereo (TRS) operation as well as true or buffered bypass modes, making the pedal suitable for almost any musical situation, anywhere, any time.

As with all other current Nobels pedals, the DEL-mini features 4 integrated Mounty-P Mounting Plates for safe and secure attachment to pedalboards. With its full metal enclosure and Glow in the Dark pointer knobs, the DEL-mini is a pint-sized powerhouse that's built for performance!

EarthQuaker Devices Passive ABY Box Smart Switching Splendor Pedal
Cat: 1050276 Rel: 20 Nov 24

Smart switching splendor pedal
Notes: The EarthQuaker Devices Passive ABY box is the perfect solution if you can't decide when and where you would like your signal to go. In its most basic form, this passive little box is commonly used to run a single input out to two destinations and lets you choose between using either individually or both at the same time.

The most common problem an ABY is used to solve, is one input being sent to out to two amplifiers, but it doesn't have to stop there! Because of its completely passive circuitry, Passive ABY can also be used in reverse to choose between two inputs to a single output. Use it to simultaneously run two different instruments to one source input. An oboe and a bass, a keyboard and a harmonica, a lute and a modular synth... you know, whatever!

This compact little device has a small footprint, won't take up much real estate on your board and is built using high quality parts that will withstand years of use and keep going.

EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Preamp Total Tone Preservation Pedal
Cat: 1050279 Rel: 06 Nov 24

Total tone preservation pedal
Notes: A buffer is an important tool to combat tone loss with long cable runs or in signal chains running lots of true bypass pedals. With its high 1 M ohm input impedance and low 100 ohm output impedance, the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Preamp will restore your tonal integrity, to give you back the clear and dynamic signal you deserve and your amp craves.

Want more? Not only will Buffer/Preamp restore high end loss, this device has a little trick up its sleeve that will also give your low end a subtle, yet powerful, little kick for some added dimension. While it is commonplace to add a buffer at the beginning of the signal chain, we find this to best at the end for optimum results. That said, it'll work great anywhere you decide to place it. For best results, make sure the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Preamp is placed AFTER any fuzz pedals that typically like to see the guitar at their input.

Mooer Audio Prime M1 Mini-Intelligent Multi-Effect Pedal
Cat: 1064241 Rel: 21 Mar 25

Multi-effects unit and audio interface for electric guitar and electric bass
Notes: Last year in 2023, MOOER released its Prime Stomp S1 multi-effects pedal, to great critical acclaim. The device expanded on MOOER's previous pedalboard creations, applying a more sleek, lightweight, and, most importantly, chargeable design. Now, the company is turning heads once again with the Prime Minimax M1, an upgraded device that improves functionality not only for electric guitarists, but for bassists too.

Packed inside the Prime Minimax M1 are 149 high-quality effect models across 10 banks, each of which contains 4 patches. These include amp and cabinet simulations and overdrives, along with dynamic, modulation, delay, reverb, and EQ effects, as well as empty user slots. Most notably, though, 20 of the amp and cabinet simulations have been curated specifically for bass guitarists, showing MOOER's dedication to providing support for this additional audience.

As with the Prime Stomp S1 and other recent MOOER multi-effects pedals, the Prime Minimax M1 is supported by the MOOER Cloud, a cutting-edge framework for preset sharing. Not only does this allow guitarists to customize and share their favourite M1 creations via the Bluetooth-compatible MOOER Prime app, but it also supports the importing of third-party IR files of up to 512pts. As a result, the 149 built-in effects are greatly expanded, with users able to simulate their favourite classic amplifiers, cabinets, and tones, whether they have downloaded them online or recorded the IRs themselves.

Taking an all-in-one approach to guitar practice and performance, the M1 also includes a built-in drum machine, complete with 40 different drum grooves and 10 metronomes. This goes hand-in-hand with the 80-second looper, with which guitarists can record electric and bass guitar phrases, play them back, and overdub them, all with simple footswitch presses. The looper can even be triggered automatically through signal detection, ensuring that loops always begin perfectly to form a perfect loop. Moreover, the looper can also be synced with the drum machine, a combination of which results in an all-in-one suite for songwriting.

Rather than the four footswitches found on the Prime Stomp S1, the Minimax M1 features just two footswitches, facilitating a more compact and streamlined design. Each footswitch is multi-functional, supporting a variety of tasks, such as browsing preset slots, triggering loop recordings, activating the device's built-in tuner, the tap tempo functionality, and interacting with the drum machine. The status and information of these features are visualized through the device's LED screen, along with indicators for Bluetooth activation, charging, battery life, and footswitch status. Two buttons are also provided-one to activate the drum machine and another for the device's power toggle.

In contrast to MOOER's recent flagship device, the GE1000 Li, the Prime series focuses heavily on portability and compactness. Weighing up at just 190g and 12cm in length, the Minimax M1 can fit comfortably into any backpack and most pockets, facilitating on-the-go guitar practice and performance. To add to this convenience, the M1 can be charged by USB through its built-in 2000mAh lithium battery. As a result, with the device's portability, guitarists can truly use this multi-effect pedal anywhere, anytime.

Continuing MOOER's reputation for providing flexible audio routing options, the design of the Prime Minimax M1 inputs and outputs are varied. Of course, the usually 14" mono input and 14" stereo output are available, as well as the 3.5mm output for headphone practice and monitoring. However, further options are available, such as Bluetooth 5.0 support for audio playback, allowing users to stream audio from another device to play along with. The device's USB-C port can even be used for OTG recording, allowing users to record their creations directly into the MOOER Prime mobile app.

Overall, the Prime Minimax M1 is yet another welcome addition to the pedal producer's range of multi-effects pedals. In particular, it marks a new level of portability for MOOER's device portfolio, showing just how much functionality its design team can pack into such a small box.

Mooer Audio GL100 Groove Loop Phrase & Drum Station
Cat: 1064240 Rel: 21 Mar 25

A feature-packed dual-footswitch stereo phrase looper and drum machine
Notes: Based on Mooer's extensive experience producing looper pedals, the GL100 offers affordable, powerful dual looping options and drum machine features. Two foot switches provide hands-free control for guitarists and keyboard players.

Supplier's Notes:
Throughout MOOER's track record of producing electric guitar pedals, the company has put a lot of its innovative prowess into its range of loop pedals, including 2023's VP3 Loopation. Ever since, MOOER's engineers have been hard at work designing the GL100, a feature-packed dual-footswitch stereo phrase looper and drum machine that has far more on offer than its younger looper siblings.

Perhaps the most impressive upgrade that MOOER has integrated into the GL100 is the sheer amount of looping time that this pedal can provide. In total, the pedal supports 300 minutes of looping time, all of which can be manually or automatically saved into 100 different storage slots.

The two footswitches are the primary means for controlling this feature, used through short presses and holds to trigger phrase recording, playback, overdubs, cancellations, and, most impressively, undo and redos. Most importantly, the pedal's position-jumping function gives users the flexibility to switch between storage slots with the footswitches while performing, providing them with the potential to perform fully structured loop-based music.

In synchronization with the phrase looper, users of the GL100 can also leverage the pedal's integrated drum machine, which contains 11 variations of 20 different drum pattern styles in various time signatures. Ultimately, this ensures that just about every musical genre is covered, regardless of whether it's for music performance, rehearsals, or simply experimenting at home. It's very simple to use, being triggerable with the device's footswitches, editable through the touchscreen, and, of course, tap-tempo synchronisable. Four different stop modes are also provided to facilitate perfect drum machine endings. More still, for the first time, MOOER has integrated its AI Band Technology feature, an intelligent accompaniment system that automatically matches suitable drum patterns based on the character of real-time guitar input, facilitating control-free synchronization.

Notably, MOOER has also made a serious effort to ensure that it is easy to record the perfect loop with the GL100. For example, the count-in function is very easy to use, as is the auto-record feature, which allows users to capture perfect loops by triggering it based on signal detection, preventing the need for perfectly timed footswitch presses. Better still, this signal detection feature can be toggled on or off with a single button press, and the signal threshold is easily adjustable, helping to support instruments of varying signal ranges.
A simple footswitch press also primes the pedal for various drum synchronization features, triggering the drum pattern to stop after one bar, repeat, or reset the looper, making it easy to perfect the loop's ending and creation-not just the beginning. To aid in this, an internal quantizer function is active to ensure that users always trigger and stop recording perfectly, even if they are slightly late with the footswitch press. Better still, the phrase looper even has a time-stretch feature, facilitating the changing of the tempo of a recorded loop but without changing the pitch, allowing any loop to sync perfectly, in key, with the drum machine.

As with any other MOOER product, the team's designers have really pushed the boundaries when it comes to the user experience. Despite packing so many features into such a small device, MOOER's signature multi-purpose footswitches, dials, and, most notably, touchscreen have all been integrated into this pedal to ensure users can squeeze as much dynamic use out of it as possible. A perfect example of this is how users have two different ways to browse through their phrase loop creations-both through using the pedal's menu encoder and by pressing and holding the footswitches, enabling dynamic looping control and real-time phrase selection without needing to stop playing the guitar.

Furthermore, the GL100 also stands out from MOOER's past loop stations for its flexible audio routing functionalities. As you would expect from a modern looping pedal, stereo input, and output are provided, but these inputs and outputs can be used with different amplifiers or instruments depending on the routing settings, allowing performers to coordinate complex loop phrases and drum patterns together in a coherent and sonically diffused manner. This includes mono connections, dual-channel connections, and even the isolation of both drum machine and instrument channels.

Finally, the GL100 comes with its own MOOER Studio software, compatible with both Windows and iOS, which users can use to save, export, import, and delete phrase recordings, expanding the device's storage capabilities. This same software can also be used to download firmware upgrades to the device when available and to complete a factory reset if ever necessary. Overall, this pedal combines an expanded showcase of MOOER's impressive looper and drum machine functions, along with a focus on innovative user experience, convenient performance flexibility, and, most importantly, accessibility to create the perfect loop from start to finish.

Mooer Audio Prime S1 Multi-Effects Pedal (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1074844 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

MOOER is well known for producing highly versatile multi-effect pedals, but its latest product announcement, the Prime Stomp S1, is not just a multi-effect pedal. It is an all-in-one pedalboard for guitar effects and tones, looping, and music production, complete with a unique portability-focused design.

Initially, guitarists will be impressed by its 126 internal guitar effects and tone presets, which are editable, sharable, and downloadable through the MOOER Cloud platform, fostering unlimited tonal flexibility. However, these capabilities shine particularly brightly when combined with the pedal's recording features.

This includes a looper module, which facilitates up to 80 seconds of looping, whilst also providing functionality for real-time playback, loop deletion, and overdubbing. Loops and arrangements can also be recorded directly onto a mobile phone or tablet through a USB/OTG cable.

When combined with the pedal's 40 synchronizable drum machines, 10 metronomes, and tuner, these looping and recording capabilities empower guitarists to craft complete musical arrangements within a single unified pedalboard, without the need for studio equipment. All features can be controlled by four simple footswitches, making for a powerfully minimalist user experience.

Whilst MOOER offers several pedalboards that offer similar functionality, the Prime Stomp S1 stands out due to its focus on portability. Instead of being powered by a mains power supply, it is powered solely by an integrated lithium battery. This battery is charged by a USB C port, enabling users to charge the pedal with a portable power bank, laptop, or regular USB C charger. The device also weighs just 350g, making it effortless to carry in a backpack.

Whilst the Prime Stomp 1 primarily caters to traveling musicians, it still includes industry-standard pedal features, such as a 1/4" input, stereo 1/4" outputs, and an independent headphone output. All of these features are presented in a sleek case and are visualized by MOOER's signature digital LED display, making for an unbeatable unified toolkit for traveling guitarists.

Notes: The EarthQuaker Devices Flexi Loops is a dual effects loop featuring our world renowned Flexi-Switch Technologyr!

Using an effect loop switcher on your pedalboard allows you to easily remove all your effects from the signal path creating a path of least resistance, to help maintain full tonal integrity when they aren't in use. Flexi Loops allows you to create two distinct loops of effects and then introduce or remove them all on the fly with ease and with its dual silent relay-based and true bypass switching, the pedal allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

Flexi Loops allows you to create two distinct loops of effects and then introduce or remove them all on the fly with ease and with dual silent relay-based true bypass switches, the pedal allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

Using high quality, soft touch momentary switches for durability and quick action to ensure a lifetime of switching enjoyment, Flexi Loops is entirely passive and there is no circuitry in the signal path. However, it will require power for the relays to pass signal. For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass. While for momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you'd like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.

But you aren't just limited to using the Flexi Loops as a loop switcher either! You can use one channel as a tuner out/mute or even a plain old mute. Use the sends to run out to different sources and easily select between them. The Flexi Loops uses high quality, soft touch momentary switches for durability and quick action to ensure a lifetime of switching enjoyment. This device is entirely passive and there is no circuitry in the signal path, but it will require power for the relays to pass signal.

Powered by a regular 9 V DC PSU (centre -, 2.1 mm, ~25 mA current draw - not supplied)

Cat: 1057940 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

Like the Iguana that's malleable to its environment, blending into its surroundings for harmonious balance or standing out with vibrant confidence, the Polychrome Flanger is a uniquely colourful tool for adding modulated textures to songs.

The Polychrome Flanger is a true bypass, all analogue Flanger pulling in familiar layout controls from the Julia and Lillian.
Dial in a wealth of colourful flange with the D-F-V blend knob and the shape and voice switches.
The Shape Switch lets you select from sine, triangle, or random LFO wave to modulate the delay line

The Voice Switch lets you select between two voices for the flanging effect.
In the down position, the flanger is more traditional and full frequency.
In the up position, you get a more complex and notched flange effect with less low end.

Like the other members of the Walrus Audio modulation family, the Polychrome has a blend knob. The D-F-V (Dry, Flange, Vibrato) knob lets you blend the dry and delayed signal from full dry at minimum (no effect), to traditional flange at noon to full pitch vibrato at maximum. Don't sleep on the vibrato sounds in the Polychrome.
Set the D-F-V knob to maximum, feedback to a minimum, and the voice switch up for some unique pitch vibrato.

Top mounted input, output, and power jacks as well as soft switch relay bypassing make the Polychrome fit well on your board and ensure smooth operation for years to come.

Boss FZ-1W Fuzz Waza Craft Effects Pedal
Boss FZ-1W Fuzz Waza Craft Effects Pedal (distortion effects pedal)
Cat: 1030397 Rel: 24 Oct 24

Fuzz effects pedal
Notes: Redefined Vintage Fuzz and Versatile Modern Tones, Brought Together with Waza Craftsmanship

Fuzz was the first type of distortion pedal, and the retro sound of vintage units from the 1960s remains coveted by guitarists to this day. Realized through deep analysis of many legendary pedals and detailed Waza craftsmanship, the all-analogue FZ-1W delivers the inspiring tone, feel, and vibe of classic fuzz in a reliable modern design. And like all Waza Craft pedals, the FZ-1W features premium components for top-quality performance and extended range for maximum tonal versatility.

Discovering the Heartbeat of Vintage Fuzz

When introduced in the 1960s, fuzz pedals changed the game for electric guitarists, giving them a bold and aggressive new voice that redefined the sound of rock music forever. Through those early days, innovative pedal builders tweaked and refined fuzz circuits based on the creative input of many now-legendary guitarists. Ultimately, this led to a small number of standout designs that became the benchmarks for the broad spectrum of players.

While developing the limited-run TB-2W Tone Bender, Boss explored and analyzed many vintage fuzz pedals and gained deep knowledge along the way. This experience inspired Boss' to reimagine the classic fuzz effect with unique Waza craftsmanship and expertise. Unlike previous Waza Craft models, the FZ-1W does not provide a reproduction of a past design. This pedal is Boss' modern interpretation of vintage fuzz, and it carries the number "1" in its name to show great respect for the classic circuits that helped shape the sound of rock guitar and launch the effect pedal industry that we all love today.

The Best Elements of Vintage Fuzz in a Modern Pedal

The simple circuits of the most sought-after vintage fuzz units produce bright and aggressive tones with long sustain. They're very sensitive to playing dynamics as well, and the best designs allow you to clean up the sound by rolling back the guitar's volume knob. But these classic pedals are also famously inconsistent-even between models of the same design-and variables like age, battery type, temperature, and more can have a dramatic effect on their sound and performance.

Backed by Waza innovation, the FZ-1W lets you enjoy all the great musical characteristics of vintage fuzz without the downsides. While inspired by historic circuits, this pedal presents an all-new BOSS approach fuelled by Boss' forward-thinking perspective and deep knowledge of effect design. Using top-quality silicon transistors, Boss have created a unique circuit that delivers authentic tone and response while maintaining stable performance in any temperature or operating condition. In addition, this modern approach greatly expands the sound possibilities over vintage designs, offering higher gain, lower noise, deeper tone-shaping control, and more.

Vintage Mode-Classic Fuzz, Wider Expression

With the FZ-1W's Vintage mode, BOSS has redefined the classic fuzz voice with more gain and wider expressive range. The sound character is raspy and assertive without being harsh, and you can smoothly transition from heavy fuzz to crunch to crystal clean simply by riding your guitar's volume. The powerful Tone knob simultaneously adjusts the high and low frequencies, allowing you to dial in a variety of different fuzz colours. And by turning down the Fuzz knob and cranking the Level, the FZ-1W works great as a boost for your amp and other gain pedals.

Modern Mode-Fat and Focused

Modern mode delivers a more refined and versatile fuzz voice with focused midrange and fatter tone, making it ideal for all types of current music styles. The gain range is even wider than Vintage mode, and cranking the Fuzz knob past three o'clock conjures rich, singing sustain for inspired solo playing. The Tone knob offers a different tuning that lets you tweak the brightness without altering the midrange, ensuring your sound always cuts through. And when used as a boost, Modern mode dishes a heap of girth with rich, mid-driven character.

Mooer Audio Prime M2 Intelligent Multi-Effects Pedal (silver)
Cat: 1083542 Rel: 09 Apr 25

Multi effects pedal with 194 effects models.
Notes: Intelligent multi-effects from Mooer, the Prime M2 is a compact, convenient pedal compatible with the Mooer Prime mobile app, Mooer Studio desktop software and the Mooer Cloud tone-sharing platform.

Supplier's Notes:
Over the last few years, MOOER has released several Prime multi-effects devices, including the Prime P1, P2, S1, and most recently in 2024, the Prime Minimax M1. Excitingly, the company is kicking off 2025 with a brand new addition to the Prime family-the Prime Minimax M2 Intelligent Pedal.

Within this small multi-effects device, a whole lot of functionality is packed in, including an impressive 194 effects models, including overdrive, preamp simulators, cabinet models, delays, reverbs, modulation effects etc., and more. In typical MOOER style, though, the company took things a step further by offering limitless flexibility through the support of its in-house MNRS sample files, as well as third-party IR sample files. Essentially, this means that users can download additional tonal emulations and effects from the MOOER Cloud and third-party sources to the device, which they can then save across 80 preset slots.

As with some past models in the Prime series, the M2 sports a convenient touchscreen design, facilitating easy browsing through the device's banks of presets. However, guitarists are not limited to interfacing with the pedal in this way, as it also features two footswitches, both of which can be used to switch between presets in each bank. There is even a MIDI jack built into the device, enabling users to connect their MIDI controllers to extend the control functions, and the MOOER F4 wireless footswitch support is also supported. Essentially, these augmentation options facilitate additional footswitches to ensure switching preset tones is always as quick and seamless as possible within any workflow.

While the Prime M2 Intelligent Pedal is primarily designed for effects and tonal simulations, it also comes packed with an array of other useful features. For example, it contains a looping module with a hefty 80-minute capacity, in addition to 10 recording save slots to ensure that any looping creations can be kept for future use in performances. Similar to past looper modules in MOOER's products, users are also free to overdub their recordings and even undo or redo their overdubs, offering a lot of real-time flexibility for creating loop-based musical structures.

As if the addition of a looper wasn't enough, this feature is also synchronizable with an internal drum machine and metronome, a combination that includes 56 drum grooves and 4 metronome varieties. Ultimately, it's a reminder that MOOER clearly recognizes and wishes to solve the struggles that musicians have when attempting to produce precise loops while staying in time. Upon commencing recording, the drum machine can produce four initial beats to serve as a count-in cue, and of course, this can be combined with the device's tap-tempo control for dynamic use. Best of all, this feature can also be applied to modulation and delay effects, ensuring that they work perfectly in time with any performance.

Extra features are included to complete this all-in-one pedal, including a high-precision tuner with fully customizable frequency ranges. Guitarists can even leverage the M2's built-in Bluetooth input support, allowing them to practice, jam, and even produce looped musical structures over their favorite backing tracks, band prototypes, and musical pieces.

Perhaps unsurprisingly for existing MOOER product users, the Prime M2 also boasts an impressive variety of audio routing systems. As was previously mentioned, that includes Bluetooth input, as well as industry standards such as dual-channel stereo output, perfect for stereo delay and modulation effects. It also supports headphone output for those who wish to practice in silence, and even OTG recording, which means that guitarists can record their creations directly to their smartphone whilst on the go.

Speaking of on-the-go, MOOER is continuing its recent portable-play focus with the Prime M2 Intelligent Pedal, as it is fitted with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery with a battery life of up to 6 hours. Ultimately, this means that even a lack of local power sources won't get in the way of rehearsals and live performances. Combined with the pedal's lightweight and small build, it truly is an ideal addition to the pedalboard of any traveling musician.

Overall, the Prime M2 Intelligent Pedal is set to be an impressive new addition to the Prime series. It features augmented functionality when compared to past models, yet still in a minimalist and easy-to-use package, keeping the size small and light yet still packing in footswitches, a touch screen, and other flexible control systems.

EarthQuaker Devices Chelsea Low End Fuzz Driver Effects Pedal
Cat: 1076601 Rel: 11 Mar 25

Fuzz pedal developed with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem.
Notes: Sometimes pedals can change. Parts drift, pots break, transistors go bad. They go to new homes; they get neglected and resold. Sometimes people get in there and try to revive them to their original state and sometimes they just throw whatever is laying around inside and hope it does the trick. In this case, EQD are pretty sure all the above happened to the fuzz pedal that made its way to James Murphy and ended up finding a forever home with LCD Soundsystem.

Chelsea really does have something special. It's heavy without being too heavy, clean but not too clean. A simple set of controls yet it has an expansive array of tones that makes it very versatile on a wide variety of instruments, has clarity when you need it and can blur all discernable lines when you don't. It still retains the familiar foundation of the classic fuzz it was intended to be, but something special happened to it over the years and it has very much grown into its own thing

Earthquaker Devices GARY Automatic PWM Fuzz/Overdrive Effects Pedal
Cat: 1055526 Rel: 26 Nov 24

Dynamic and destructive pulse width modulated fuzz paired with a natural-sounding op-amp overdrive
Notes: EarthQuaker Devices is proud to introduce you to your new best bud, Gary. This little big guy was dreamt up by the one and only Lee Kiernan from the crushing and most necessary band, Idles!

Gary started as a simple request to create a compact version of the now discontinued Gray Channel, which was a mainstay on Lee's board and a big part of his main drive tone. This was all fine and good, and sounded quite sick, but it was worth and exploring his dark side a little more, Gary after dark, Saturday night Gary. So, he was sat down and began the trek of figuring old Gare-Bear out once and for all. The result is a real exercise in light and dark; smooth to shredded and everything in between.

Gary's right brain consists of a dynamic and destructive fuzz that is both domineering and interactive. It is a ripping fuzz tone with an envelope-controlled variable pulse width and enough volume to blow everything up. This nasty little fuzz turns the signal into a square wave and allows you to dynamically adjust the duty cycle with pick attack. Yes! Controls the sensitivity of the envelope. When this is all the way down you will get an unadulterated thick and heavy square wave fuzz tone that will sustain for days and go dead quiet when you stop playing. As you increase the Yes! control, the envelope becomes more interactive, and the pulse width narrows the harder you hit it. As the pulse width narrows, the tone becomes more nasal and biting until it gets so narrow that Gary goes to his dark place and disappears completely. In other words, with higher sensitivity settings, the sound will disappear entirely and come cruising back to Gary's big guy tone. With proper playing dynamics, this creates a very cool effect that can sound like an exploding amp coming in and out of life, blown through a phase shifter.

This effect can also be controlled with an expression pedal for manual operation or for finding just the right pulse width to cut through the mix for a set-and-forget operation. When using an expression pedal, Yes! operates in conjunction with the expression pedal to set the peak of the sweep. Set Yes! to the desired stopping point and express yourself as you please without worry of taking Gary over the edge!

Oosh acts as the master volume for Gary's nasty side. There is an insane amount of volume on tap so use this control wisely!

Gary's left brain displays his softer side. This is a simple and natural sounding overdrive that keeps your tone lively and drives your amp crazy. This side is based on the green channel of the Gray Channel, which is Earthquaker's take on the classic little yellow overdrive that started it all. Lee used this pedal with the clipping switch permanently set to the middle position, which removes all the diodes from the circuit, producing a full-bodied, cutting opamp distortion with plenty of volume on tap. Earthquaker have reproduced that tone here with exacting precision. Go sets the opamp drive and can range from a simple full-range clean boost all the way up to a smooth and natural distortion. In conjunction with That's It, which is the master volume for the drive side, you can use Gary's softer side as a clean boost to push your amp into overdrive or turn up Go and use all of Gary's internal magic to create the finely tuned dirt you desire.

Gary's signal path is fuzz into overdrive for total tonal integrity and cannot be changed. This is where Gary put his foot down.

Each and every Gary was softly brought to life by the delicate hands of EarthQuaker Devices in the elegantly unrefined canal-front city of Akron, Ohio USA.

Boss CE-2W Chorus Waza Craft Effects Pedal
Cat: 1030418 Rel: 01 Nov 24

Chorus effects pedal
Notes: Launched in 1976, the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was not only the world's first chorus effect pedal, but also the very first BOSS pedal. Three years later, this inventive new sound was squeezed into the blue CE-2 Chorus, and chorus pedals have remained in the compact lineup ever since. Four decades on, the spacious modulated tone of the signature BOSS effect is still loved by musicians everywhere. In 2016, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of BOSS innovation, the original analogue chorus sounds are now reborn with the Waza Craft CE-2W. The CE-2W's Standard mode faithfully recreates the classic CE-2 chorus sound, and adds an expansive new sound field with stereo output, which was unavailable in the mono CE-2. CE-1 mode fully reproduces the stereo chorus and vibrato sounds of the legendary CE-1, with the addition of variable chorus depth not available in the original pedal. To commemorate the birth of BOSS effects, the CE-2W is made exclusively in Japan, just as the original CE-1 and CE-2 were.

For Players and Collectors Alike

Whether you're hitting the stage or simply celebrating a history-making overdrive pedal, you won't be disappointed.

The Overdrive Preamp 250 - 50th Anniversary Edition pedal celebrates the introduction of the original 250 pedal in 1974. Widely considered to be one of the most influential overdrive pedals, the original 250 helped shape the sound of rock and metal in the late '70s and early '80s. The Overdrive Preamp 250 - 50th Anniversary Edition pedal is hand-built in the USA using the authentic design of the original pedal, while adding two extra modes for modern sonic versatility.

The Overdrive Preamp 250 - 50th Anniversary Edition is actually three overdrive pedals in one. Set it to Silicon mode for a faithful reproduction of the original 250's bite and grind, courtesy of an authentic LM741 op-amp. Select Ge/ASYM mode to engage a Germanium diode for asymmetrical even-order clipping that provides a distinct tonal character with incredible touch response. Or switch to Lift mode to remove diode clipping completely from the signal path, for use as a clean boost and preamp.

Complete with a commemorative 50th Anniversary badge, custom artwork and colour-matched LED, and a 50th Anniversary pedal topper, the Overdrive Preamp 250 - 50th Anniversary Edition pedal is ideal for players and collectors alike.

Mooer Audio Ocean Machine II Delay/Reverb/Looper Effects Pedal (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1078454 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

Excellent value from the updated Mooer delay/reverb/looper. The Ocean Machine II features improved sound quality all round, plus expanded loop memory up to a total of 120 seconds.

Supplier's Notes:
Similarly to the original, the Ocean Machine II offers two independent delay modules, each with nine different delay types of up to two seconds, including household names such as digital, tape, and echo delays, as well as more abstract options, such as galaxy, crystal, and rainbow. A high-fidelity reverb module complements these delays with nine reverb types, as well as a shimmer effect. Each delay and reverb effect can also be 'frozen,' creating static ambient drones, an effect that sounds particularly impressive considering the pedal's DSP upgrades.

While the original Ocean Machine's looping capabilities provided just 44 seconds of loop storage, the new addition features an impressive 120 seconds. To experiment with this feature, along with Ocean Machine II's other sonic capabilities, users can use an intuitive LCD screen along with 12 knobs (four for each delay and reverb module) to easily adjust parameters within the device's 'Play Mode.' Three footswitches are also provided to facilitate independent effect toggling, tap tempo control, looper interfacing, and a preset selector.

Once the guitarist has crafted an interesting effect chain, they can save their work as a preset and enter 'Patch Mode,' in which they can toggle between saved settings with each of the three footswitches. In total, the Ocean Machine II provides eight preset storage banks, each of which supports up to three presets, resulting in a total of 24 save slots.

The pedal's versatility is further enhanced by its programmable parallel and serial effect chain hybrid, a signature element of Devin Townsend's tone creation. This feature allows users to customize the order of effects, providing endless creative possibilities. Further programming options can be accessed through the LED screen, which impressively includes synchronizable MIDI connectivity, a feature that was absent in the original Ocean Machine.

In addition to MIDI, the pedal supports various external control systems, including expression pedal input through a TRS cable. Furthermore, the pedal is compatible with MOOER's F4 wireless footswitch, allowing for extended capabilities for mapping presets and other features. A USB-C port is also available for firmware updates, ensuring that the pedal remains up-to-date with the latest features and improvements.

Considering the experimental nature of Devin Townsend's performances, MOOER has also gone above and beyond to facilitate the seamless integration of Ocean Machine II into any audio setup. The device features full stereo inputs and outputs, as well as adjustable global EQ settings, letting users tailor their sound to suit different environments. Guitarists can also customize their effect chains to be used with true bypass or DSP (buffered) bypass, depending on their preferences and specific use cases.

Overall, Ocean Machine II brings higher quality delay and reverb algorithms, augmented looping support, and various updated connections to Devin Townsend's original device. As per MOOER's typical standard, the pedal is engineered to withstand the rigors of touring and frequent use, allowing guitars to bring their special creations and atmospheric drones to the stage.

Strymon Ultraviolet Vintage Vibe Effects Pedal
Cat: 1058817 Rel: 21 Jan 25

Vibe and chorus pedal offering a variety of vintage style tonal options
Notes: A warm grittiness to the warble, a rippling, wooshing, bubbling irregularity to the modulation and a dynamic response to your picking are all hallmarks of the true vibe experience. Thicker and chewier than any chorus, earthier than any phaser and uniquely magical in front of a driven amp, the perfect vibe pedal moves you to dig in and play without inhibition. This feeling has been difficult to find outside of large and expensive fully-analog boutique units, but the search for that elusive experience is now over.

UltraViolet's simple and responsive controls provide a wider range of sounds than traditional vibe pedals. In addition to the familiar Chorus (50% wet) and Vibrato (100% wet) settings, there is a new Blend setting (30% wet) for an inspiring variety of more subtle effects. A Bias switch gives you three distinct flavors of sweep shape and tone emphasis, allowing for tons of sonic variation. At slow speeds, the intensity range has been expanded beyond that of traditional vibe circuits to push even further into warmly undulating sonic territory.

For UltraViolet's new vibe algorithm, all the elements of the classic optical vibe circuit (and their interdependencies) have been meticulously recreated for a dynamic playing response. From the effects of bias, speed and LFO waveshape on the pulsing of the lamp, to the response of the light-dependent resistors that set the center frequencies of the staggered phasing filters, the entire system has been duplicated and carefully tuned to produce the very best sounds a vibe pedal can offer.

TRS stereo input and output in a dual mono configuration means you can place UltraViolet at any point in your pedal chain with no impact on your stereo image.

Full MIDI implementation with 300 available preset locations ensures that UltraViolet is ready for your MIDI rig. In addition to TRS MIDI, there is a USB-C jack for controlling the pedal via MIDI from a computer or for performing firmware updates. For hands-free control without MIDI you can connect an expression pedal for control over any combination of knobs in any direction (Expression pedal controls Speed by default.) Or attach an optional external switch for tap tempo or favorite recall.

Finally, a high-impedance, ultra-low noise discrete Class A JFET stereo input preamp provides exceptional touch sensitivity, dynamics and feeliall in a rugged and elegantly compact form factor.

Walrus Audio Voyageur MKII Pre-Amp/Overdrive Effects Pedal (black)
Cat: 1055940 Rel: 05 Dec 24

Pre-Amp/Overdrive Effects Pedal
Notes: The Voyager MKII is a mid-focused overdrive/preamp that contains all the mythical magic from the original Voyager and adds a wealth of features not seen before in a Klon-style pedal.

From its lowest to highest settings, the Voyager provides a uniquely superb amount of clarity to any playing style. At lower gain settings, it brightens the signal and adds clarity to each note. With the gain turned up, the Voyager transforms into a thick overdrive, providing depth to chorded playing while retaining the clarity needed to break through solos.

The Voyager MKII breaks out of the traditional Centaur three-knob topography by adding a foot-switchable parametric mid-frequency EQ with a boost/cut range of +/-12dB. The Freq (Frequency) knob then controls the centre frequency of where the Mid knob is set, giving a range of 250Hz-2kHz. Great for accommodating any guitar and pickup combination and tailoring your tone to your own style of playing.

Further customize the Voyager's sound with the five-way rotary switch:
1. Classic 1N34A Germanium Diodes (most compressed). This is the original Voyager sound.
2. Classic 1N34A Germanium Diodes with bass boost (trust us).
3. Symmetric Silicon Diodes (more open and dynamic).
4. Asymmetric Silicon Diodes (least compressed, open & driven).
5. Asymmetric Silicon Diodes with bass boost (least compressed, open & driven with a bass boost.)

Think of each position as a different "flavour" of the pedal. Fine-tune each of these modes with the Mid/Freq EQ for a near-infinite supply of gain options.

Crazy Tube Circuits Heatseeker Dual Channel Amp & Preamp-Enhancer Effect Pedal
Cat: 1060604 Rel: 19 Dec 24

Follows the successful concept of Crazy Tube's "Unobtanium", "Hi Power", and "Crossfire": all-analogue dual pedal designed to recreate a legendary pedal and amp combination
Notes: For those about to rock... Crazy Tube Circuits have created the Heatseeker!

The sound of a classic wireless system meets three iconic amps that helped shape the history of rock. From its inception/invention, in the mid-70s, this wireless system has been the secret recipe to major rock guitar rigs. The magic ingredient lies to its analogue preamp/ tone enhancer circuit that expands the dynamic response and harmonics of any signal that goes through it. By producing a modern recreation of this hidden gem, there is enough percussive attack to spice up your tone.

Utilizing an all-analogue JFET circuit, running on 27 volts via an internal voltage boost, Crazy Tube have captured the tone and feel of three British tube amplifiers synonymous with the sound of rock and roll with excellent clean-to-mean dynamic response. The "WoS" (Wall of Sound) circuit opens up the soundstage by increasing output and adding thundering lows and dense high mids. The effect is similar to "adding" a wall of amp heads and full stacks to your rig!

A passive effects loop gives you the option to connect your beloved pedals between the two sections, building your ideal rig.

Follows the successful concept of Crazy Tube's "Unobtanium", "Hi Power", and "Crossfire": All-analogue dual pedal designed to recreate a legendary pedal and amp combination.

Inspired by the tones of the gear setup used by Angus Young.

Right side: re-creation of the preamp/tone enhancer circuit of the Schaffer Vega Diversity System.

Left side: 3 distinct Marshall amps-in-a-box: JTM45, 1959 Super Lead, JMP 2203.

Passive series effects loop to connect pedals between the two sections or use them separately as independent effects.

The CROOK channel (left side, blue LED) boasts a full, fat thick sound and amp-like voicing. This channel is more articulate, grainy and has a huge low end.

The FLAIL channel (right side, red LED) is voiced in the midrange, with more drive and compression. This high-mid voicing will cut through a mix on pretty much any instrument.

Both channels have GAIN, TONE and VOLUME controls. For more textural control, each channel has three-way switches for hard (GRIND) and soft (GRIT) clipping, as well range (FULL/MID).

Each channel of the Ozymandias has its own set of input and output jacks. This allows you to split the output from each channel into separate amplifiers or even process two different instruments independently.

The mysterious square in the middle switches between two modes:

Series (Light off): FLAIL channel -> CROOK channel -> Output 2
Parallel (Light on): FLAIL channel -> Output 1; CROOK channel -> Output 2
Thanks to internal 22V operation, Ozymandias offers far greater headroom than most overdrive pedals from a regular 9V pedal power supply. Even with the gain dimed, this pedal is extremely reactive to playing dynamics and pick attack.

Walrus Audio Voyageur MKII Pre-Amp/Overdrive Effects Pedal (seafoam)
Cat: 1055972 Rel: 05 Dec 24

Boss RE-202 Space Echo Effects Pedal (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1055396 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

Based on the legendary Roland Space Echo, the RE-202 brings tape-style delay effects into the future. Classic vintage sound in a modern, user-friendly package.

Supplier's Notes:
A Masterpiece Returns in the Modern Era

Introduced in 1974, the Roland RE-201 Space Echo stands among the most legendary and sought-after effect units ever produced. This tape-based classic remained in production for over 14 straight years, and its distinctive rhythmic echo sounds, warm character, and highly playable sonic quirks still inspire musicians, producers, and audio mixers over four decades on.

Backed by intensive R&D and Boss' latest innovations, the RE-202 faithfully delivers the authentic sound and behaviour of the Space Echo like never before. Built by the company that designed the original, this advanced pedal captures the RE-201's magic in flawless detail, from the magnetic tape and motor properties to the vibrant spring reverb and colourful preamp circuit. And to take things even further, Boss have expanded the vintage Space Echo experience with lots of new features tuned for today's music.

Tape Echo Magic

Tape echo was the first delay effect and one of the first effect processors available for electronic musicians. In contrast with today's CPU-based digital units, a tape echo is a simple machine that uses a motor to pull magnetic tape across one or more record/playback heads. Warm, full, and dynamic, the tape echo sound is influenced by many factors. The ever-changing input level colours the sound with varying amounts of tape saturation and compression. In addition, motor speed fluctuations, friction, wow and flutter, and other elements introduce an appealing modulated character that's subtle and continually evolving.

RE-201 Space Echo: Simply Legendary

The RE-201 was a benchmark Roland product and one of the leading tape echo units of its era. It featured three evenly spaced heads that produced a wider range of echo effects than typical single-head designs, plus an innovative free-running tape system that provided superior performance with minimal tape wear. Grab-and-go controls enabled quick access to clean, single delays or various head combinations for dense, rhythmic echoes. A spring reverb tank was included too, making the RE-201 a one-stop shop for quality ambience effects. Last but not least, analogue preamp circuitry was another key ingredient in the Space Echo's rich sonic recipe.

A Masterpiece Reborn

Realized through the latest technologies and exhaustive analysis of several vintage RE-201s-including a pristine original unit from the BOSS and Roland factory archive-the RE-202 brings the complete Space Echo experience to life in a versatile modern pedal.

While previous BOSS designs captured the true sonic flavour and essential characteristics of the Space Echo, new advancements have allowed us to go much deeper than ever before. With the RE-202, Boss' engineers have fully reproduced all the complex, non-linear behaviours that contribute to the RE-201's immortal character. Everything that influences the sound was carefully examined and recreated with all-new algorithms, including the tape path, record/playback mechanism, motor variations, preamp coloration, tape age, spring reverb character, and more.

Retro Sound at Your Fingertips

The RE-202 delivers the full vintage vibe of the RE-201-without the need for regular tape replacement and hardware maintenance. All the core controls of the original are here, including the iconic 12-position mode selector. Every behaviour is replicated with complete accuracy, such as the gradual pitch change that occurs when the Repeat Rate knob is tweaked, or the cool runaway feedback that happens when the Intensity knob is maxed.

With selectable tape age and variable controls, you can dial in everything from a brand-new Space Echo to the worn character and quirks of a well-loved vintage piece. The Saturation control has been carefully calibrated based on the actual magnetic tape and preamp behaviours of the RE-201, with the sound becoming warmer and more compressed as you turn up the knob.

Strymon Riverside Multistage Drive Effects Pedal
Cat: 1059633 Rel: 22 Jan 25

An overdrive pedal that creates harmonically rich tones that are immensely musical and natural-from silky clean overdrive to colossal distortion, and all points between
Notes: Discover your amp's potential

Riverside's cascading gain stages create harmonically rich tones that are immensely musical and natural-from silky clean overdrive to colossal distortion, and all points between. The analogue JFET front-end ensures that Riverside responds to your guitar with uncompromised dynamics and feel. The precision crafted DSP generates dynamic complexity and pleasing harmonics at every stage, letting your amp shine at any gain level. Riverside takes your amp to places you never knew it could go.

Overview

Infinite sweet spot

Riverside's continuously variable circuit tuning dynamically tweaks multiple parameters under the hood so that the sweet spot follows you at any gain setting. As you turn the Drive knob, Riverside makes continuous adjustments, tuning the circuit for optimum tone. This results in an incredibly versatile drive pedal that is equally capable of providing sparking cleans, mild overdrives, high-gain leads, and heavy saturated distortions.

Flexibility to adapt to any amp

Your amp choice has a large influence on the sound of any drive pedal connected to it. Riverside's musical 3-band EQ, with independent Bass, Middle and Treble knobs, is designed to complement your amp's tone with the flexibility needed to dial in your sound effectively and efficiently. The three-position Presence switch tailors the highest frequencies, allowing Riverside to integrate perfectly with any amp or setup, no matter how dark or bright.

Digital or analogue? Strymon choose both

The first stage of Riverside's custom multistage drive topology is an all-analogue, ultra low noise, discrete, class-A JFET circuit. This gain stage is digitally controlled to maximize headroom while adding as much as 20dB of pure analogue gain, with tight integration to the subsequent DSP gain stages. With Strymon's hybrid approach you get the best of both analogue and digital worlds: The JFET stage provides exceptional touch sensitivity and dynamic interaction with your guitar, while the incredibly powerful SHARC DSP facilitates the great level of detailed complexity and responsiveness you'll want to hear.

Tone Adjustment and Shaping

Drive adjusts the amount of gain applied to the signal. Employs continuously variable circuit tuning which adjusts many parameters as you turn the knob.

Level controls the output volume level when the effect is engaged.

Gain toggles between low or high gain channels.

Low sets a gain structure allowing for a wide range of low to medium gain sounds. At high Drive settings the sound is heavily overdriven, and slightly 'loose' like a dimed vintage amp.

High increases the gain throughout the signal path and tightens things up. Stays relatively clean at low Drive settings, shifting to heavy saturated distortion at maximum.

Push toggles between flat or enhanced midrange frequencies.

Norm can be used for cleaner, more transparent tones.

Mid adds a mid-band EQ push just after the analogue front-end gain. This pushes the subsequent drive stages harder, tightening up the response. Perfect for fat drive tones, or pushing a distorted or on- the-edge amp into further breakup.

Bass is an active shelving/parametric low frequency control. The control is post-drive, shaping your drive tones before they reach your amp.
Middle is a parametric mid boost/cut control with optimized frequency centre. The control is post-drive, shaping your drive tones before they reach your amp.

Treble is a wide-ranging high frequency active shelf control. The control is post-drive, shaping your drive tones before they reach your amp.

Rear Panel

Presence is a three position switch that tailors the highest frequencies of the output signal.

Minus (-) provides clarity with a controlled top end that works well with many amps that have a brighter voice.

Enhanced (centre) extends the top end to allow for more sizzle on high gain tones. Useful if you want enhanced detail in the uppermost frequencies.

Plus (+) delivers extended high end detail to the darkest amps, and is also useful when plugging directly into a power amp.

In is a high impedance mono input. Plug your instrument in here.

Out is a mono signal output. Connect to your amp, other pedals, mixing board, etc.

Boost allows use of an external switch to toggle up to +6dB of post boost on/off. Or connect to the EXP input of another Strymon pedal and simultaneously engage the Favorite settings on both pedals with Riverside's Favorite switch.

Expression Pedal Input provides continuous expression pedal control over any or all of the knobs, in any direction, with your foot. Or can be used in Volume Mode to control the volume level of the effect.
Power - Plug your power supply in here. Maximum 9 volts DC centre-negative, with a minimum of 250mA of current. Standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connection.

Secondary Functions

Press and hold ON footswitch to enter Secondary Function mode. Release the footswitch, then turn the desired knob to adjust the parameter.

Optional variable-threshold Noise Reduction tames hum, buzz, and system noise when you're not playing. A downward expander with advanced signal detection techniques creates a seamless transition to noise reduced silence with all types of input signal dynamics.

Boost Level sets up to +6dB of available boost when using an external Boost footswitch.

Strymon Sunset Dual Overdrive Effects Pedal
Cat: 1059641 Rel: 22 Jan 25

Sunset gives you the best of the best classic overdrive circuits, custom voiced for instantly gratifying control over a huge range of sought-after tones
Notes: Sunset

Classic overdrive sound, x2.

Sunset gives you the best of the best classic overdrive circuits, custom voiced for instantly gratifying control over a huge range of sought-after tones. Strymon studied six circuit types found in many truly timeless and iconic overdrive pedals, and put their takes on all six of them into a single two-channel unit.

Overview

Two pedals at once.

Sunset is really two customisable overdrive pedals, independently selectable and flexibly routable, designed and voiced for complementary tones when stacked. Six distinct circuits each feel and react differently in your hands, two at once, all in one convenient package. Push your amp any way you want, from transparent "more amp" to heavy saturated fuzz, and all the best places in between.

Holy Grail tone, minus the quest.

We are all familiar with the endless search for the ultimate overdrive pedal and the perfect tone. Strymon did the critical listening and custom voicing to design each side of Sunset with just one tone knob, so you can quickly dial in the sound you want. The knob ranges for each circuit type are custom calibrated to provide maximal usable control. Strymon applied the same design philosophy and care to the stacking options, ensuring each combination interacts optimally and sounds great, so a huge range of classic overdrive tones are instantly achievable.

Optimized stacking.

Since the time when overdrives were created to simply push an amp in order to achieve an overdriven sound even at sane volume levels, players have evolved to want more layered, multistage tonalities. Stacking gives you more flexibility and tone range on the floor. You can find an overdrive that sounds good on its own, then run it through a second drive to add new dimensions to your tone. Sunset allows you to use any of its six overdrive circuits on their own, or route the Channel A drive circuit through Channel B, or Channel B through Channel A, or use two circuits in parallel. When stacking overdrive pedals, some combinations work especially well together. Sunset eliminates the guesswork. Routing options have been chosen deliberately to present the best-sounding combinations of drive circuits.

Digital or analogue? Strymon chose both.

Sunset's input features an ultra low noise, discrete, class-A JFET circuit providing up to 20dB of pure analogue gain.

Channel A overdrive circuits

The Ge overdrive combines the softer response of germanium diodes with a parallel path that blends in the dry signal as the Drive is lowered. At higher gains the lower-midrange frequencies are emphasized to create a tight, thick response. This overdrive really fattens up single coil pickups, and responds with a bold push when paired with humbuckers.

The Texas overdrive employs a single stage soft-clipper configuration that is filtered before and after the gain stage to create a smooth and dynamic overdrive. The original signal dynamics are retained as the gain is increased - perfect for playing the blues or just fattening up your sound with a signature midrange bump.

Channel B overdrive circuits

The 2 stage overdrive combines a soft-clipping stage followed by a hard-clipping stage, creating a complex overdrive with a wide range of gain. Its EQ structure preserves the low end while adding some muscle to push your amp. This overdrive can easily take you from lightly clipped to beefy saturation.

The Hard overdrive uses a single-stage hard- clipping circuit that has a ton of available gain, approaching fuzz territory with the Drive knob maxed. At lower gains, mildly clipped transparent tones are achieved with this versatile drive. The wide-ranging Tone knob lets you shape the top end from smooth to buzzy.

Channel A boost circuit

The Treble type is a treble booster that removes the low frequencies as the Tone knob is turned up - great for tightening up an overdriven amp, or driving another gain pedal that's a bit looser on the low end. Turning the Tone knob down brings in the low end, making for a versatile all- around boost.

Channel B boost circuit

The JFET type is a clean boost that subtly

beefs up your signal with the dynamics and responsiveness created from the JFET front end. As you turn up the drive, the signal gets rounded and warmer. The is a great option when your amp just "needs a little extra."

Studio mode gives you the smooth, beautifully transparent compression typically found in the best vintage studio rack units. For a harder compression effect typical of classic guitar pedals, Compadre's Squeeze mode is designed to deliver heavy compression with maximum sustain.

Boost the Sweet Spot, Clean or Dirty.

Compadre gives you two distinct analogue boost circuits: a clean boost, and a dirty boost that introduces soft clipping, characteristic of an overdrive pedal. The selectable boost EQ ensures the perfect compliment to any guitar and amp combination. Add sparkle and shine with a treble boost, fatten your tone with the midrange boost, or level up the full frequency range with flat mode.

Extended Control.

Connect an expression pedal to add premium VCA-based volume control. Add an optional MiniSwitch or MultiSwitch Plus to store and recall your favourite settings. Integrate Compadre into a MIDI pedalboard using the MIDI EXP Cable and access up to 300 preset locations.

Vintage Inspiration, Modern Execution.

The Compadre design project started with a study of some of the finest analogue compressors ever created, inspiring and guiding the circuit design process. Utilizing a VCA in the compression circuits allowed Strymon to carefully tune the exact response and dynamics that were desired for each voicing.

For Studio mode, the goal was to achieve the musical and transparent sound found within Strymon's favourite studio rack units and the best vintage studio console bus compression. Careful tuning of the detection circuit provided Strymon with exacting control over decay, especially important for Squeeze mode. With ample sustain on tap, Strymon paid special attention to creating a completely smooth decay, with no unwanted pumping artifacts.

Experience the dreamy sound of a classic '60s tape echo complete with the harmonic richness of the accompanying tube preamp
Notes: The legendary Strymon deliver quality goods once again with this analogue-inspired stereo delay. Single head sound gives a classic 60s vibe with modulation and subtle imperfections.

Supplier's Notes:
Experience the dreamy sound of a classic '60s tape echo complete with the harmonic richness of the accompanying tube preamp. Enjoy organic and ethereal modulation produced by countless subtle mechanical imperfections, and easily dial in anything from warm slapback to expansive echo feedback beds with a strikingly gorgeous stereo image. With beautifully-tuned low frequency response, lush tape saturation and sublime echo decay, EC-1 provides all the best of what a tube driven tape echo can deliver.

EC-1 offers impressive power and flexibility in a small and elegant form factor: Selectable tube-modeled preamp voices. Artifact-free tap tempo. Discrete stereo operation for independent processing of the left and right stereo inputs. Straightforward controls and expression pedal capability. High-impedance, ultra-low noise discrete Class A JFET stereo input preamp for exceptional touch sensitivity, dynamics and feel. MIDI control of tempo, patch save/recall and more. Premium components, rugged construction and a USB jack for performing firmware updates or controlling the pedal from a computer.

Featuring meticulous tube modeling techniques, EC-1 offers a choice of two authentically reproduced preamp circuits that lend a subtle vintage character to your input signal. One is based on the classic EP-2 tube preamp and features an enhanced high-end shelf perfect for brightening up darker humbuckers. The other preamp option (the default setting) produces a warm, balanced response based on the modded preamp circuit in the EP-2 unit that we studied during the development of EC-1. This option adds a pleasing sense of heft, especially to single-coils. Both preamp choices offer an optional boost of up to +6dB, or the preamp can be bypassed for an unprocessed dry signal if desired.

Strymon's unique dTape technology was first developed for El Capistan, and they have expanded on it to reproduce all the inspiring nuances weencountered while studying a recently-acquired tube Echoplex that was in uncommonly superb condition. Our dTape system allows precise replication of every aspect of every tape echo we've studied, and in EC1 this includes the effect of the moving head, the tape condition, the bias setting, the mechanical effects of motors, capstan slippage and all the irregularities that add up to create the unmistakable, inspiring sound of vintage tape echo repeats.

Whether you want the cleanest repeats, subtle fattening or even downright dirty echos, you can instantly dial in the desired amount of tape saturation with the flip of a switch. Providing pleasing tonal shifts from thinner to fatter, EC-1's three-way Record Level toggle switch selects the gain of the signal fed into the virtual record head. Choose the low position for unity gain with optimized bias for the cleanest repeats, medium for a 6dB input signal boost with increased bias for slightly saturated repeats, or high for a 12dB input signal boost with further increased bias for heavily saturated repeats. This control also gives you a fast and easy way to match EC-1's response to your input signal level to obtain the desired sound from any pickup type or pedalboard configuration.

For EC-1, fluctuations from motors and mechanical components were thoroughly studied to accurately capture their imperfections. At the lower end of the Mechanics control's range only slower motor-related wow and flutter are present, but at around one o'clock these fluctuations are reduced in favor of faster disturbances from crinkle, splices, and capstan slippage which accurately replicate the sound of our golden EP-2 unit. This setting can create uniquely reverberant and three-dimensionalechos that spread across the stereo spectrum. The slower fluctuations are mixed back in more prominently as you approach the maximum Mechanics setting, and the unique combination of multiple imperfections create truly gorgeous, organic stereo modulation effects unlike anything you've ever heard.

The frequency characteristics of tape echo repeats are determined in part by the bandwidth of the actual tape stock, so older tapes will have a lower bandwidth with a warmer top end. EC-1 allows you to faithfully reproduce these characteristics by turning up the Tape Age knob for warmer repeats, or turning it toward minimum for the full-bandwidth sound of fresh tape.

EC-1 is designed to allow high levels of repeats that are truly lush but that don't spiral into uncontrollable feedback. That wide sweet spot on the edge of runaway feedback can create intriguing sound beds under your lead or rhythm playing. Of course if you want to crank the Repeats control to maximum and play with the unique pitch effects that only a sliding record head tape echo can produce, those effects are all precisely replicated in sound and response.

SoMa Laboratory Harvezi Hazze Distortion Effect Pedal
Cat: 1064230 Rel: 31 Jan 25

A versatile and unique distortion pedal with a wide tonal palette.
Notes: Harvezi Hazze is a versatile and unique distortion pedal with a wide tonal palette.

The heart of Harvezi Hazze is a waveshaper designed around a unijunction transistor, a relic from the early days of the semiconductor industry unearthed from the e-waste bins of flea markets in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The unique properties of the unijunction transistor allow one simple component to replace a number of very complex devices: depending on the operating mode, we can get a distortion, a limiter, a waveshaper and a generator - with a smooth transition between them. Experiments have shown that this transistor is an excellent basis for a distortion stompbox.

The name translates from Georgian as "a fault on the transmission line" or "signal jamming", and both the semantic and phonetic natures of it unequivocally imply what to expect - an impediment to the input signal, ranging from pleasant harmonic distortions to complete obliteration. The signal chain of the unit consists of an optical compressor with fixed parameters; a dual-mode distorting amplifier with either softer or harsher clipping; a waveshaper built around a unijunction transistor; and a tone stack section trying to tame all this mess.

Signal Chain:

Input -> Compressor -> Distorting amplifier -> Waveshaper -> Tone stack -> Output

Controls:

Gain - controls the output amplitude of the signal in the distorting amplifier section. Depending on the position of the switch, the distortion introduced by this section is soft (switch in the left position) or more aggressive with an abundance of high harmonics (middle position).

Spoil and Spread - control the operation of the unijunction transistor (waveshaper section). Spoil sets the point on the amplitude axis at which the wave will fold, and Spread sets the amplitude of the folding. The sonic meaning of these knobs can be described as follows: the higher the Spread value, the more severe the distortion will be, and Spoil changes timbre and response threshold. By adjusting Spoil you can achieve various gating and cutoff effects. At low Spread values, distortion sounds are mixed into the clean sound.

Tone - adjusts the brightness of the sound; the higher the value, the more high harmonics are present in the signal.

The switch regulates either the distortion mode in the amplifier section (left and center positions), or it turns on the total feedback mode (right position), when the values of all knobs begin to influence each other and effects occur such as resonance at certain frequencies and self-oscillation.

Level - controls the output volume of the signal.

The footswitch routes the signal through the effect circuitry or from input to output directly (true bypass).

The array of switches on the side of the unit gives a few more tonal options:

TONE STACK - routes the signal through the tone stack section (Tone knob).

BASS BOOST - enhances bass frequencies.

TONE MODE - changes the behaviour of the Tone knob (tilt or lowpass).

NOTCH FREQ - changes the central frequency of the filter.

HIGH CUT - attenuates high frequencies.

COMPRESSOR - routes the signal through the compressor.

The lower position of the switch enables the function.

Strymon Zelzah Multi Dimensional Phaser Effects Pedal
Cat: 1060634 Rel: 22 Jan 25

Vintage 4-stage and 6-stage phasing with controls that allow seamless transitions to vibrato, gorgeous flanging and chorus, and new sounds never heard before
Notes: Way Back Machine

Step on Zelzah, play one chord, and you're instantly taken back to a world of classic phaser tones as they were always meant to sound, perfectly voiced, with tons of vibe. Vintage 4-stage and 6-stage phasing with controls that allow seamless transitions to vibrato, gorgeous flanging and chorus, and new sounds never heard before-all instantly musical with great tone all the way across every dial.

Two Effects At Once.

Zelzah is actually two different phasers, side by side in one pedal. Zelzah's 4-stage side gives you a wide array of classic tones ranging from phasing to vibrato and more, while the 6-stage side provides phasing, flanging, chorus, and all points in between. Dial in a chorus on one side and barber pole phaser on other, or a phaser on one side and tremolo on the other. Use the two sides independently or together in a variety of configurations. Zelzah may become the only modulation pedal you keep on your board.

Choose Your 4-Stage Phaser Sweep

Classic Sweep

The first Sweep mode is labelled "Classic" because this is the classic four stage phaser sweep we all know. In this Sweep mode, a single LFO with a warped triangle shape creates that familiar vintage sound.

Barber Sweep

Similar to the visual effect of a barber pole, the Barber sweep is a continuously rising or falling effect that is traditionally done with frequency shifters. In Zelzah, Strymon have used an arrangement of synchronized four stage phasers to produce the effect while maintaining the four stage sound.

Envelope Phaser

Set the Sweep switch to Env and you've got a whole new pedal under your feet. Now the phaser responds to your picking like an envelope filter/auto-wah would, with the phaser sweep being dynamically controlled by your input signal, creating harmonically complex and very funky sounds.

Six Stage Voice: Groundbreaking New Phaser Algorithm

The Voice knob on the six stage side simultaneously controls over 30 different parameters, all working in harmony for an inspiring musical experience.

Not only do you get thick, juicy, phasing with pure vintage vibe, but as you turn the Voice knob clockwise, the groundbreaking new modified all-pass structure expands the time response of the cascading all-pass filters seamlessly and continuously, adding spaciousness and airiness to the sound.

Explore a range of fresh musical tones that are not a mix of phasing and flanging, but actually something entirely new. Turn the Voice knob to the right for luxurious true flanger effects, and continue to the far end of the range for lush vintage chorus sounds. There are inspiring musical sounds at every point along the dial, and so many ways to make a sound that is truly yours.
