Review: The 10th vinyl sampler celebrating 25 years of KMS Records sees each member of the Belleville Three appear on one piece of wax, with four tweaks of the ubiquitous Detroit anthem "Big Fun". First up is Kevin Saunderson's own Reece edit of his most seminal track - the way he toys with the intro is still a pure tease after all these years. This is followed by Juan Atkins' slightly beefier version, which is memorable for a lovely piano segue towards the end. Flip over for Les Adams' take, which pushes the vocals and chords deep under a gurgling acid lead, while Derrick May's edit is undoubtedly the grubbiest of the lot, with the great man somehow making those feel-good chords sound slightly menacing.
