★ On position No1 Reuben Vaun Smith's debut LP. ''Warm Nights'' is fairly ‘simple’ in sound after its vintage and analog live jam hedonism but extremely intelligent formed on the other hand. The LP opens with its early digital single ‘'Under The Thunder’', a summer breezier pseudo smooth jazz and samba rhythm, a season's favourite here. Coming next the addictive groove of ''Photosynthesizer'' is like the music that accompanied LP's cover, it is the photosynthesis of its colourful design. Vintage synthesizer fusion that takes you straight on early and rare African electronic music recent reissues, combination of drums kaleidoscope and A Vision Of Panarama's seaside (sound) view. The Afro inspiration continues on "Trip On New Shores" where Reuben Vaun Smith's jam is like been recorded live back in the heart of summer of 1984. Tropical rays of sunlight reflecting over "Sunshine Flute" which is soundtackin', the Balearic way, an Indian Ocean sunset. "The Tides Roll In" on the flip comes back to those vintage African nights and "Open Chakras" then assembles a team of Faze Action beat philosophy and Project Pablo's early beliefs and priorities synth fascination. ''Rising Sun" which is running out the release is giving a kind of deep house appeal to the album and as proved as the most uptempo tune of it... I don't find any reason this one to be missing from you record collection as it is another proper Balearic burner for the double20.
