Drawing inspiration from the MMI Maxima, the MMI Helios is intended as a middle ground between the gestural control surface of the Maxima and the fingertip control of the smaller MMI.

Less density, but a much higher degree of patch control is the key point of the Helios, which complements other MMI devices very well, and can be joined with other Helios (Helii?) to form larger and creative control surfaces.

The design is greatly simplified compared to the original MMI, with only two I/O jacks - either can function as input and output, and their interaction with each other is determined by touching both plates simultaneously to form a connection, or in cooperation with other MMI devices.

Available in a "right" and "left" version - one is an exact mirror image of the other, which makes it suitable for having two units adjacent to one another.

Notes: Skippy Exp is a tiny module in 2HP that adds "Play/Stop" and "Reset" functions to Skippy, either via a button or a CV input. It cannot operate independently; you absolutely need Skippy to use it.

For those who don't need the live adjustments offered by Skippy Live (or have run out of space!), Skippy EXP still provides two essential functions for dynamic performance.

This module cannot operate alongside Skippy Live, which already has these two functions. It can be placed either to the right or left of Skippy. The connector to link it to Skippy is included. This module does not need to be connected to power.

Notes: The FADRMIX JACKOUT is an extension for the FADRMIX6 with two 1/4" (6.5mm) jack sockets for master left/right output and 4 stereo minijack sockets for the FX send and returns.

The module is connected via a small internal connection cable to the right of the FADRMIX6.

Notes: The SELECTOR module is an electronic switch for any kind of signals to select one of up to eight sources or sending a signal to a specific destination (it's bidirectional). It is also known as "Sequential switch" in former modular synths. The SELECTOR has 8 inputs for any kind of signals, no matter if audio CV or gate, and one of them can be routed to an output in different ways: Either by a knob, or by a CV, or by clock pulses to advance by 1 plus a reset trigger input. By a switch it can be set to operate as a dual unit with 4 inputs each.

It's a quite useful tool for more complex patches, e.g. for selecting between different sequencers, or sending a modulation source to varying "receivers".

Notes: The uDISTORTION creates diode based distortion in different modes and adjustable drive.

Please note: These micro modules need a carrier, like the uBASE module. The cannot be mounted directly into an AE case.
