1. | "Sensory Deprivation Tank" (feat The Underground Padova Taximeter Gang & Hiroki Kano - Madteo De-Sui-Ipsius- Ac-Multorum - Ignorantia remix) (12:47) |
A second release on Istheway from Italian producer Shinoby is every bit as impressive as the debut that surfaced earlier this year and comes backed with some tremendous remixes from Madteo and Samo DJ + Tzusing. Up first is "Sensory Deprivation Tank" which feels like lo-fi techno consumed in a vacuum and recorded to tape in one take, and dovetails with the markedly more intense ride that is "TSG". Little surprise Dancemania man Parris Mitchell has been tipping this Veronese producer. Samo and Tsuzing remix this track and ease down the tempo for a thick set EBM thruster that really offers a different take on "TSG". The B-side is given over to Madteo for one of his epic remixes, transforming "Sensory Deprivation Tank" into a four part 13 minute "De-Sui-Ipsius-Ac-Multorum-Ignorantia-Remix" featuring The Underground Padova Taximeter Gang. In truth it's more like a completely new track and is quite breath taking.
